Good sangria and salads. The pizzas are terrible though, but somewhat reasonably priced. If you’re looking for bad quality pizza crust, I recommend this place.

This place was disappointing. It looked great from the outside looking in. The restaurant was pretty. Very NYC vibes. The food was ok. The dessert was a disaster. The ice cream was very water like and sad looking and tasting. The service SUCKED!!! It’s horrible. They are ruse, mean and outright just terrible. Everyone in Barcelona is rude.

Whoa I’m surprised that this place is getting such low reviews but my first visit here was quite pleasant. The Iberian ham pizza with arugula was delicious. And that is the only entrée we shared since we weren’t super hungry. The sangria was also yummy. The only other thing I noticed was when I looked over to the food from other tables, it didn’t look as good. So I’d say stick with the pizza. As far as the service goes, we came at off-peak hours so the restaurant wasn’t busy but still understaffed from what I could tell. If you’re traveling in a hurry, have no time for reservaion and just want somewhere clean and decent to eat on Las Ramblas, La Poma is definitely a good option to first-timer in Barcelona.

I was walking around this past Sunday in Barcelona and thought it looked like an inviting place. I went in and order a cava and had the cod fish. Two hours later I was violently ill. Prior to this lunch I was feeling perfect. No problems at all. I am certain it was the cod, as this is all I had eaten. Beware or you may become ill as I did.

If you’re looking for somewhere with a fresh interior, not too expensive, with a reasonable choice that’s near Las Ramblas, then this is worth a shout. Staff were friendly enough if a little bit slow. I plumped for a ham pizza which was admittedly delish, but my sister was left disappointed with her small portion of pasta. All in all, OK.

Not terrible. Not wonderful. La Poma is not a bad place on Las Ramblas to get a quick bite. We ordered pizzas; aubergine, onion, bacon and goat cheese. They were tasty enough and not too expensive. Our waiter, on the other hand, was just awful. Abrupt, rude and smelled pretty bad — body odor — the kind that develops after days of rumination. Kinda wierd for a guy serving food to not be aware of this.

Not bad for first night in Barcelona right on La Rambla. Location was great. Service was spotty. Paella was so so, too salty. Tapas combo with chicken and Salmon was good. Served with dessert and wine included.

Good quick food and attentive service. Feels like a pizza place but the food is better variety and quality than you would expect. Great for families with kids.

Pizza & soft drink for 2 for under € 30. A good selection on the menu however most pizza’s had either blue cheese or goats cheese on it which I’m Not a huge fan of so I orders margarita with ham & there was plenty of ham on it. The service was efficient, maybe slightly abrupt or that might’ve been the language difference. Modern interior overlooking the busy las ramblas street. Tasty pizza, good location & reasonably priced.

I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here but I didn’t have WiFi! This place looked pretty from the outside looking in and the menu looked good so we figured we’d give it a try. Major disappointment. The pizza tasted like rubber… The carbonara didn’t really taste like anything… The croquettes were totally bland… The chicken appetizer didn’t really taste like anything and might have had some feathers on it still? The pastas bravas were okay. Don’t waste your time or money here!!! Not worth it!

Failed to check on Unilocal prior to eating here. Paella looked delicious but was far from. Pizza looked alright but lacked flavor. Service was terrible, one guy seemed to be working the entire downstairs. Only decent thing was the dessert. I think the only reason why this place is still in business is due to it’s location and nice appearance. It’s right on Ramblas and is always packed. Poor silly tourists(like us) not knowing any better.

Nothing special. If you’re looking to eat mediocre Italian food in Spain, this is the place for you. Very touristy and expensive. Only one paella on the menu and is below Average. Not a fan.

Bland food, poor service. Had dinner here last night as we wanted a quick meal before going to watch Barc play. We were seated immediately and our order was taken quickly. I ordered the Pizza Iberian and my wife the Carbonara tagliatelle. Didn’t take long for the food to arrive and when it did it looked great but that was as good as it got. Waiter didn’t offer any pepper, parmesan or chilli oil, even though it was available, so I had to get it from next to the kitchen myself. My pizza was distinctly average and my wife’s Carbonara was tasteless.

Right on La Rambla. We picked it for no particular reason then t get off the hot busy street after a long walk. We ordered pizza and salad. Pizza was pretty good although the thin crust was a bit hard for us that live in Naples ;) Nice enough place to sit for a quick bite, and staff was attentive.

Pretty popular and attractive restaurant in the middle of La Rambla offering good food at decent prices. I wouldn’t really consider this to be «legitimate» Spanish food though, more of a touristy spot, so if you’re looking for an authentic place, take a pass on this one. On the bright side, the restaurant is beautiful and looks very clean and modern, which probably contributes to its popularity among tourists. My group ordered the patatas bravas to start, then I had the apple and onion confit ravioli and a glass of sangria. The patatas bravas were mediocre, they were basically just chunks of fried potato covered in ketchup and mayonnaise… nothing special, and my friend even mentioned that she had had better patatas bravas at a Spanish restaurant in Toronto. The ravioli, however, was delicious! There was a sweetness to the dish from the apples and onion confit that I really enjoyed, and I found the dish to be filling even though there wasn’t any meat in it. The sauce was absolutely amazing, so I would definitely recommend ordering this dish if you visit this restaurant, apparently it’s one of their specialties. The sangria was quite good, but also extremely, extremely strong. Super heavy on the wine and not so much on the fruit. My friend started to feel the effects of the alcohol after drinking only half of her glass: P so I guess you definitely get your money’s worth.

Loved this place… In a crowded restaurant, with crowds eating before heading to a match in Camp Nou, us with 2 kids in tow had a fantastic dinner in this little gem of a place. We felt relaxed !! The menu had plenty of choice with excellent value… the food was delicious and the restaurant was spotless. Would definitely recommend… a great spot off before heading to the match! good portion sides to keep you going for a few hours!

Wonderful and a great escape from all of the palella restaurants on Las Ramblas. Food: We ordered a ceasar salad, the mushroom risotto and baked macaroni. This was the first time, we have ever had such large(American) portions in Europe. The quality of the food was great. We were thoroughly happy. Drink: Ordered a pitcher of Sangria. MUSTHAVE. Décor: So cute. It’s that farm fresh rustic, green and clean kind of place. Less in more, I suppose… this is the trend in restaurants. I am a fan of a little more umph in décor but this is nice none the less. Staff: GREAT. Most places accept AMEX which is nice and they process your payment directly at your table. A little different but nice. The restaurant was busy at the time but we didn’t wait long periods of time for anything. Overall this place was great. :)

Neeeee, was für schlechtes Essen !!!

Conveniently located at the top of La Rambla near The Hard Rock Café but without the long line. We stopped in here before walking down the street and shopping. The restaurant was clean, the service was prompt, and it was a welcome respite from walking and the warm temperatures. I really enjoyed my chicken brochettes(chicken on skewers) with potatoes. It was a very satisfactory and filling meal. I was actually with a group of 13 people and they were super nice about splitting the checks. Everyone enjoyed their food. The restaurant’s location means that prices are a little high for what you get, but you are paying for convenience. They also have a free clean bathroom but of course, like most things in Europe, it’s up a huge flight of stairs. I also appreciated that when we were done and we still wanted to sit there and chat for a while, we weren’t rushed out. Also, the waiter spoke English very well and the menu had everything in Spanish and English. Definitely a plus. So, even though the food prices are a little high, it was worth it and I would definitely go back there and eat again.
