Wow! This place is killer. Why are you still reading this? You should put down your electronic device and make your way to Bricklight Dive now! They have great prices and our server was outstanding. Her name was Kelsey. Their prices are great. All meals are $ 6.99 and they have sandwiches, salads, and fancy pizza. I had a turkey panini with the lemon Cesar side salad which was to die for. The panini is made with a green chile mayo that is just the right creaminess mixed with spicy. I’m going to have dreams about it tonight! I can’t wait to go back and try more food off their menu. The only two suggestions I would make to this place is to change up the pita chips because they practically break your teeth when you eat them because they are so hard. They are, however very tasty. They just need to be cut thinner IMO. Also I was bummed because they ran out of the potato salad and I really wanted to try it. They had great happy hour specials and marble double white on tap. Yumminess! Seriously! Stop reading this and GO! Cheers!

The price is right and the food is too. Can’t go wrong with most drafts under three bucks. I recommend the Verde for a sandwich and they make a good Caesar. Friends always enjoy the flatbreads.

Fast service, great prices on local craft beer, and amazing fire-oven pizza. Their pizza is on-par with Farina’s or Ill Vacino, but at about half the price. Also, order their Cuban sandwich and add green chile: so good! One of my favorite spots in the UNM area and super affordable!

While their pizza is really good(the Dive was excellent) the service has been slow every time I’ve been here, and the drinks(mixed drinks) are watered down. The only mixed drink that’s really good is the strawberry and champagne martini, which is tasty and actually seemed to have alcohol in it. My friends stick to drinking beer because it’s hard to water that down.

Great margs & beer. I love the green chile, chicken, & feta bruschetta! This place never disappoints. The best part is this place is super affordable!

I’m completely lost on what the appeal is of this place and this area. I feel ok about leaving only two stars though because I suspect the audience that this place appeals to isn’t really getting their ideas from Unilocal! This is not my scene at ALL. It’s icky. There are questionable people wandering about, shouting random stuff. I was there at 2:00pm so I really didn’t expect it to be «wild» and yet I felt I had to keep my eyes out on my surroundings the entire time lest I get stabbed. We sat outside, where evidently dogs are allowed. Bench cushions are completely destroyed. We had spotty service; most of us went inside. A plus for the beers — everyone had a beer(or four) they totally enjoyed. But, beer isn’t my thing either so no extra stars. I understand they are well-priced. There was a dog outside a store a few doors down, just standing totally still on the sidewalk. I was wondering if he was really real. Then I decided that’s odd behavior and I made a WIDE circle out on the street to avoid him. When I left, the dog was still there, but now a man was pulling on his tail and he was growling. I crossed the street. I was confused by the guy who had his baby there. While it’s not ENTIRELY a rowdy bar, it’s not really Chuck E Cheese, either. The place has a weird vibe, and the entire area has a specific odor(IFYOUKNOWWHAT I MEAN.) If this is your thing, I think you will have already heard about it from other people in your social circle. If not, then just avoid it. Find some place that smells nice and with fewer shouting maniacs.

Uh nothing special about the Brick light District… I mean do you need to look for hipsters who just really want to be you? Average food, drinks and service

I had a lemon Cesar salad and a pizza tagged along with a strawberry lemon drop mimosa. Everything was delicious, good for you(excluding drink maybe lol) and fairly priced!

First visit to this restaurant. If you’re walking to get to this place it makes for an interesting walk off Central. Great outdoor seating but unfortunately allows smoking… Food and beer prices are excellent! I would not think to order a salad here but tried the lemon romaine lettuce and it was delicious ! I loved that it was chopped making it easier to eat and the dressing was on each piece. Do not come for the service but do stop in for the food!

Slow service on a Thursday night. Side salad(we both had the lemon Caesar) was fine and had just the right amount of dressing, with fresh ingredients and a good portion size. The pizza(the Steakhouse) my date and I shared was ok — pungent flavor of the blue cheese supplemented the strong meaty flavor of the beef, which was on the dry side. Overall, an ok :)

I’ve really fallen in love with this place while visiting Albuquerque. This is my second time here in three days because, well, obviously I think it’s delicious(food wise and beer wise). Featuring 20 local beers on draught from Marble Brewery to Santa Fe Brewery to an ale that is actually made by monks called, wait for it, Monks’ Ale, clever. Champagne martinis, champagne margaritas, muddled strawberry champagne mojitos, their version of Long Island iced, blackberry lemonade and a wasabi Bloody Mary for those of you who don’t drink beer. And a various wine selection is available as well. Today I had the Santa Fe Nut Brown ale and the Monks’ ale. Both are great brews in their own way. The Santa Fe Nut Brown Ale is dark, rich, and smooth going down, while the Monks’ Ale has many different spice flavors that really come through after the initial first gulp is taken. Very satisfied with these two ales and I definitely come here again just for the Monks’ Ale on tap! As for the food you won’t be disappointed in this department either. I ordered the Pizzetta Blanca(fresh mozzarella, fresh spinach, roasted garlic, and crispy prosciutto), it pairs very well with the Nut Brown ale and makes me salivate just thinking about it. All pizza are individual Neapolitan-style topped with all natural ingredients. I have also ordered the Pizzetta Il Manzo(shredded, tender, Italian sirloin, sliced pepperoncini, garlic white sauce, mozzarella) and was completely happy with this selection too. Super savory flavor all around. On top of serving individual style pizzas they have bruschetta, fresh salads, porchetta sandwiches, manzettas, and paninos. There is something for everybody with the variety offered on the menu. I would definitely recommend coming by here if you ever have the opportunity to do so. It’s located in the heart of Harvard SE, right next to the University of New Mexico, with ample parking and easy access to the restaurant. It is a sit down and be waited on kind of restaraunt, but there are also about 10 seats to pull up to at the bar if you just want a drink or two, or three! My server, Spencer, was on-point and very knowledgable about all the beers available on tap and all the varieties of toppings included on the pizzeta’s. He was friendly, attentive, proud to work there, and welcoming. I am very happy I stopped by here three days ago because now it is one of my go-to places here in Albuquerque.

Bricklight is inconsistent. I have been here many times with friends and each time it is different. There are good and bad things about this restaurant The good: a somewhat clean establishment, full menu with many options, great selection of beer, nice outdoor seating for people watching and chatting with friends. The bad: very spotty service that is not particularly helpful or pleasant, food is not especially tasty or noteworthy, beer does not come in full pints, drinks are wine based. On two separate occasions glass shards were found in our beers that were served to us! Very dangerous and unprofessional. Thankfully the glass was found before consumption. I think there are some management problems here that may be affecting the overall quality of brick light dive and until these are fixed, I don’t see it being a standout bar/restaurant/dive.

They’re really slow with making food that’s my only issue. I usually share the herb neapolitan with my sister or a friend. They do some good stuff here, check it out. I really enjoy the bruschetta as well and the pizettas. Just make sure you come with enough time to wait 15 – 20 minutes for even the smallest order even when they’re not busy. On top of that the waitresses(I don’t want to call names) really like to ignore you and show attitude. I literally had to yell for her to even notice me and come to the table after calling for her for her about 10 times, both me and the person with me were ignored until I literally yelled out ‘excuse me’. Both the waitresses were standing there laughing. And then on top of that I was shown ridiculous amounts of attitude. Disappointed. This is my fourth time here, didn’t expect this kind of treatment.

This place does not quite qualify as a dive for me. The lighting is too bright, and the stainless steel too clean looking. 3 $ beers are good, but they are a smaller pour by a few oz’s. I believe they are 12 or 14 oz instead of 16– still a pretty good deal. Marble and LaCumbre beers are more expensive 4 $ not 3 $. I have not eaten there, the food looks alright. My good friend had a burger last night, with a salad as the side. Prices are inexpensive the combo was 6.75. That said, the portions are not huge, and they do not take a temperature on the burgers. He said the burger was okay, not great. The pizzas they make are not on fresh dough, which is disappointing. They looked rather dry to eat. Again they are like 6.75 $ so you can guess this place caters to a student budget. The mixed drinks are made with mixes(the bottled kind), and lower proof alcohol. I keep wanting to try the food here, and then chicken out. The pork and beef sandwiches are the items that look the most promising. This joint is A-OK. I like coming here on occasion, but it does not really wow me. I like it enough to keep coming back.

I always like coming here for the good prices of food and drinks. I really like the staff and a great environment. I really like their greek salad and the flatbread pizzas are pretty good too. Good place to grab a Mimosa.

It can be tough livin’ in one of the lowest salaried states in the country. Every dollar makes a difference. 2009 stats(I know, old, but that’s what Wikipedia gives me) rate New Mexico as third from worst regarding the poverty rate, and I’m sure nothing much has changed. Here’s the upside of eatin’ dirt: drinkin’ good beer, cheap. Digging in your pockets for quarters, Burqueño? You’ll need about ten of ‘em for a pint, and you’ll choose from a decent selection of brews that leave our impoverished southern competitors(Louisiana, Mississippi) jonesing for authentic pours. The DIVE has a solid line of local beer at prices that covet your landlord’s incessant calls. I really, really wish this place existed when I attended UNM.(Oh yeah, it did. The original Kelly’s: two dollah pints, cheap sammies and plenty of gut rot.) The food wasn’t anything to rave about but the service was. Entering at 9:45 pm on a Friday, I figured they were open much later. Turned out we should have been sent away. But they let us stay past close, they even poured a second draft, because we wanted to wash down what we were eating. Absolutely nothing but good vibes and friendly words from everyone here. So hey guys, keep the doors open another couple of hours, at least on the weekend. We’re enchanted by quality, inexpensive pours. We’ll make it worth your impoverished dollar, promise.

Everything is good here. I typically stick with the turkey sandwich with salad– to die for. Good beer selection, cheap too. Sundays are a great day to go– never terribly busy.

This is one of the best pizza places in Albuquerque!!! I can’t stop myself from coming back. The staff is fast and friendly. They’re very knowledgeable about the menu and beer selection. The prices are hard to beat! You can come in and spend about 25 to 30 dollars on two people. And that includes bruschetta and pizza to share, as well as two beers each. Great patio that is extremely dog friendly! Love this place! A dive with a twist!

I used to frequent the Dive often because I work on campus, and it is a quick walk. The drinks are fine, except for the fact that it seems you are getting a good price($ 2.50) but in actuality the beers are not a full pint. Regarding the food, myself and several friends have been sick after eating the food(specifically the turkey panini and pizza). This has happened enough times that we do not want to eat there ever again. Additionally, the wait staff are bitches and take forever to take your order. One of them spilled beer all over my body any my backpack one time.
