The Rooftop Bar

Only reason this bar exists is to facilitate drinking for those whose only credentials are fake IDs. Therefore the drinks are overpriced and the staff is shitty. Even their tailgate at UT football games blows.
Should be called «Freshmen-​who-​dont-​know-​any-​better Bar»

This is best bar outside of 6^th street.
Bartenders are very friendly, which makes or brakes a bar. Some people complain, but the drinks are cheap. I got a strong, top shelf mix drink for $ 5. If you live in DFW, this is a great price, because there it’s at least $ 7.
A little small, but dank setup. An excellent choice if you live in the campus area.

WORST BAR EVER.
Seriously NEVER EVER go to this bar. Not only will they treat you like garbage but they will kick you like garbage the moment the clock turns 2:00 p.m. and then they will talk to you like garbage. My friend and I though this would be a good alternative for 6^th around 12:30 but it was the WORST experience of my life at a bar. DON’T COME HERE. I’m about to contact the owner immediately and I want to contact the ABBB after deal with everything. WHATEVER YOU DO DON“T GO TO THIS BAR, NOT MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT A DRINK, THEY ARE THE WORST.

Potential unrealized. I’ve been here twice and on both occasions I’ve been disappointed with the service and drinks. The styling of the bar hints to its execution: lazy and cheap. Why this place is still open and Little Woodrows down the street sold out is beyond me.

I went there for dollar wells on Tuesday. I did not go to the roof but stayed downstairs with a group of friends at the bar. The dollar well drinks were pretty tasty and packed a good punch for only being a dollar. The environment was so-​so, at times it was crowded and other times there were only maybe 10 or 15 people downstairs. I’m used to a 6^th street environment so this was a little more calm for my taste. They started playing music more loudly around 11 so that helped liven up the atmosphere. It’s definitely a great place to go if you want to just sit back and chill and enjoy some cheap drinks.

ROFL… this place totally ruined my credibility.
So one day… my friend and I were looking for a place to go to happy hour or get a cheap drink after work at 5PM sharp.
Strolling in the bar around 5:05PM… I thought to myself… this place smells like woodchips. Our conversation went something like this:
Me: Why hello their barkeep, the lovely missus and I were looking to wet our whistles on the rooftop.
Barkeep: Many apologizes sir, the rooftop is closed.
Me: (Insert Long Pause)… sir, why isn’t this lovely establishment called «The ROOFTOP Bar»
Barkeep: Sorry sir, we are understaffed and do not have a bartender up there.
Me: Ok… sir may we see a menu so we can get a morsel to eat.
Barkeep: Sorry, we do not serve food here.
Me: (in my head) This is the ROOFTOP Bar & GRILL right?
Me: Ok so what the fuck, do you even have any drink specials?
Barkeep: No… we just have what you see.
ROAR, we ran as far away from this place as possible. I swear how did this business make ME feel like I’m retarded.
No Food. No Rooftop. Shitty bar. Not even one other customer in the bar…
