Checked out BurgerFi for first and last time yesterday. The staff was fine so I feel bad giving only two stars but any more really aren’t justified. The main reason the rating is low is because the burgers are so small and the prices are high. The meat quality may be better than fast food but the portion is no bigger than a Wendy’s burger, maybe even smaller. On the other hand, the order of fries was gigantic. We got the«cry and fry» which is french fries with three large onion rings on top. Those and the fries were both tasty but not enough to make up for the $ 30 price tag for 2 burgers, one Cry & Fry and 2 fountain sodas.

This place is excellent. These are«gourmet» burgers. Not your slap patties and all your ingredients together so you end up eating a WTF burger. Can confirm they use use potato buns… yum… Everything is fresh and the fries… I’m hungry again… I usually get the all day breakfast burger which is excellent. The only thing it needs is more syrup! This place isn’t cheap, but organic and natural ingredient rarely are. I honestly, seriously prefer this place to Five Guys. Don’t get me wrong. Five guys is delicious, but I prefer the more organized well crafted burger. You should stop by and give it a chance.

Decent burger, pleasant staff. 4 stars for an upscale fast food burger joint. I appreciate the certified Angus and if it is in fact antibiotic free then it’s worth price. I had the single burger which I expect most would find small. As I am really trying to eat reasonable portions I found it perfectly fine. The cheese was fully melted, thank you. The condiments grilled onion, lettuce and Dijon mustard were good. It would have been better had they been a little less stingy with the lettuce and onion. The fries were great. Russets with a little bit of skin on the outer pieces. I am happy with the food and the price of the burger if it’s pedigree is true. The issue is the meal price. The smallest serving of fries is 3.69. The bottled soda was about 3. That makes the whole lunch over 12.00. Even though I this was a small serving it was plenty large for two. If there were two or more in my party I would seriously considering splitting an order of fries. I would like to see a smaller serving of fries and a smaller price for the parties of one.

Awesome veggie burgers and delicious fries. Love the wooden tables and cool lighting, too.

Went for an early lunch and wound up having a late breakfast with the All Day Breakfast Burger. I’m talking about Angus beef topped with a fried egg, American cheese, perfectly crispy hickory smoked bacon drizzled with maple syrup, grilled onions, ketchup, and a delicious slab of hash brown. Everything about this burger is mouthwatering and so deliciously gratifying. The fries are thick, crispy and always a plentiful. Regular sized fries are easily more than enough for two generous eaters. The dining room is bright, spacious, and refreshing. If you’re looking for a quick, hassle-free lunch or dinner option, BurgerFi is your best bet.

Friendly staff at the counter. The conflicted burger is my favorite. While it was tasty, I’m not saying it was not good I’m saying that it tasted better in Florida. The urban fries are another favorite. But the garlic aoli was a little plain and tasted much better at the Deerfield Beach store. Much more flavor there. It was just light in flavor here. Other than that very good as usual. The only thing that put me off was what a manager or I think he was a manager said. I was the only one in line. A young guy came in looking for employment, the employee at the counter didn’t have any applications left. When the manager popped up his response was 1:30 on a Friday was not good. I don’t think that was the correct response. It’s just not the way I’d conduct myself. Just thought you should be aware of that behavior.

I am, highly disappointed. While I understand Angus beef is expensive, and fresh is more expensive than the alternative. It’s a quirk of the business, I understand this. But, if you’re going to HAVE Angus beef, have it cooked to temp To say the least, this was a completely underwhelming experience. The place itself isn’t bad, and the burger is decent, the fries I could tell were fresh, not frozen. I suppose the idea you can get beer and wine adds something to it, but just not enough to really spark that«edge» that other burger places seem to capitalize on. While I can’t say it’s bad food, because it’s not. But there’s nothing that really set this place apart from other burger joints. For a place that has this much hype around it, you’d expect, I dunno, more. And it just wasn’t there. This may be a place I would stop in on occasion, but as a regular place to get a burger? Probably not.

Was craving a burger and this hit the spot. Service is friendly and fast. People in other reviews have complained about the prices but I think they were reasonable for what you get and the location in Avon, CT. These days even a meal at McDonalds can cost up to $ 10(with drink, fries) so I would rather spend a bit more for better ingredients and nicer atmosphere. I loved the variety of toppings, more variety and unique than 5 Guys. The onion rings were delicious as well. The Burgerfi sauce was really good as well. Also for those who like beer and wine this burger joint offers both at reasonable prices.

Purchased the burger fi cheese burger and cry and fries ran me around 15 dollars including taxes. Burger was served hot, in a wax paper covering. The patty itself tasted good however the accessories that came with it were average, I.e. Dead lettuce, generic tasteless tomatoes, boring mayo, typical heart stooping more salt then cheese American cheese. The bun is typical wonder bread slightly better than McDonald’s. Altogether the burger was tasteless, only saved by the good patty quality. Needs more seasoning. The fries were hot golden crispy on outside and chewy on inside, what you will expect from quality fries. Onion rings were okay, good size. The batter used is the typical smooth boring batter that most up scale burger chains use. Tasted like onion rings, but beyond that don’t expect much. The most obvious comparison in term of price point and quality is five guys burgers and fries. Overall five guys is a much better overall burger in their all the way condiments. Five guy’s fries are also more flavorful, and have additional volume of the fries used to fill the bag. So more bang for your buck in this case. The biggest plus for burgerfi is that it serves beer, but don’t expect much above a Sam Adams. In terms of decorum it is the typical neo modern setup: Hard wood panels, exposed metal, and open fans. If you want something unique, that stands out this crowded field of more expensive grease food. This is not the place.

I had high expectations, and it was OK. The employees were friendly enough, the store was new, and pretty nice(plus a great patio area for outdoor eating), but the food was just OK. And really, that’s why you’re going to Burgerfi and paying a lot more for a burger, isn’t it? I got the«Twenty Eight» which is described as «DOUBLE28-DAY DRY-AGEDGROUNDBRISKETBURGER, SWISS + BLUECHEESE, LETTUCE, TOMATO, PICKLES, BURGERFISAUCE»(caps from their site). It was kind of a sad, smashed little bun, the meat was overly well done and super dense. It was just a burger. The fries were decent, I did ask for well-done, and they were somewhat crispy. Also got the«urban style» which includes parmesan, herbs, and garlic aioli. The aioli was more of a garlicky mayo, heavy on the mayo. But it wasn’t bad. I did like the beer selection. I branched out and got a Shiner Prickly Pear. Not too bad. So it was ok, but not great. I don’t think it’s as good as Smashburger or Five Guys, but I would try another location just to make sure.

I’ve been craving a burger so bad so last night the guy and I hit this place up after picking up my new training sneaks at New Balance closeby. He’d been before and thought it was pretty good. Casual and tasty was what we were after last night. Being on a special eating plan for the month, I had to order differently than I normally would. I was very pleased that they had the«green style» option which is what I chose with a double and a bunch of vegetables. The lettuce that was in place of the bun was crisp, fresh iceburg and I was surprised by how well it worked and how good it was. Boyfriend got a regular double with cheese and was a fan of his burger. The fries were so good I thought my head was going to explode eating them and the onion rings were excellent too. What I didn’t know but liked about BurgerFi is their mission to «environmentally sustainable» and«earth friendly.» They try to achieve this by using chairs made from upcycled Coke bottle and tables from upcycled milk jugs or wood pallets. They have a good recycling program set up, etc. Good stuff.

We LOVEBURGERFI! We are new to CT and hail from In-n-Out land, so we’re big on fresh, never frozen ingredients in our burgers. These burgers are literally the highest quality, best tasting I’ve ever had. They use the highest-quality, free-range, humanely-raised beef you can find. Certified American Angus. Never frozen. Never injected with hormones or antibiotics. Never. Ever. The result? FLAVOR. Lots of juiciness. If you like high quality, you’ll love these. The burgers are smaller than some, but given the richness and freshness of the flavors, the meat is actually too much for me. I ask for a single patty, as the standard comes with two(a total of 6.6oz). The bun, the toppings, the special sauce — all delish. They use super fresh, soft, buttery buns. And they have a vegetarian option. My young sons choose this spot over all others. My husband and I love the nice beer and wine selections. Service is fast and, now that summer is coming, we’ll get to enjoy the outdoor seating. We hope they’re around for a long time and are able to expand!

Burgerfi hits the sweet spot between fast-casual spots like Five Guys and more expensive sit-down places like Max Burger. First, the burgers are great… great quality and countless combinations. Plus, they’ve got hot dogs, shakes, onion rings and oh yeah, BEER. Which is the difference-maker when it’s 8:00 and you’re taking a break from long car purchasing negotiations. Very friendly staff, too.

On the basis of the review posted by the company I returned and my experience was quite the opposite. Yes the food is a bit costly Yes the music will drown out your conversations The quality is superior to every other burger joint in that area. Hopefully they’ll be bringing one to Amherst.

Stopped in today for a late lunch, we were 1st timers to BURGERFI. My fiancée ordered the Breakfast All Day Burger, I went with the Build Your Best Burger(a double w/American cheese, grilled mushroom, pickles &BBQ sauce). We shared a large order of French fries with cheese sauce and had two small drinks. Waited about 10 minutes or so for our food. Burgers were tasty enough, but can’t see coming back. The cost of our meals was just over $ 29, I feel that’s too much for burgers which are very similar to what you can get at Five Guys. I imagine a lot of other people feel the same, we only saw a handful of people in BURGERFI when we were there. Usually a Five Guys location is doing a good business, I honestly believe that price is the bottom line factor for this difference in customer traffic.

Finally made it here. And glad I did. It’s a nice fast-casual version of a burger place. Service was relatively quick. The shakes were delicious — the red velvet and black & white ones were particularly tasty. And the onion rings are HUGE. Literally, big onions. So there’s only like 5 to an order, but I couldn’t eat more than 2. And even that… Kids enjoyed the hot dogs, but they seemed just ok to me. But as for the burgers? Well, they’re a bit small, but tasty. The toppings we had on them were plentiful. Liked the blue cheese and chili too. So, why the three stars? For value, I think there are just better meals in the area. And fries were just ok. Overall, it’s an enjoyable alternative to Five Guys. It was crowded and, they serve beer too! $ 3 on Sunday for drafts. So, there’s that too.

This place is a complete Shake Shack ripoff, but they do a damn good job coming close to the real thing. I love the Shake Shack-style burgers, so I loved the BurgerFi burger I had here. The patty was well-seasoned, the vegetables fresh, the buns soft and nicely toasted, and there was tons of cheese to satisfy this cheese-lover. My friend and I shared a large order of the Cajun fries and it was perfect. Contrary to what others here have said, the fries are pretty crispy. Could they be crispier? Probably. But I like crispy french fries, and I was satisfied with the ones here. They’re worth the order. My only real complaint is the prices. They’re as outrageous as the prices at Shake Shack. A regular burger with fries and drink tops $ 10. My friend got a custom burger, half of our order of fries, and a soda, and his order came out to about $ 15, which is about as much as you’d expect to spend on a burger at an upscale place. For a place this casual, the prices should be a few dollars lower. As it stands, the prices make this place a rare indulgence rather than a frequent stop. If you want a good Shake-Shack-style burger, this is the place to go, but expect to pay more than the food deserves.

Been back a few times now and Burgerfi clearly deserves 5 stars. The Brisket Burger and the BAD(breakfast all day) burger are amazing, definitely worth trying both. I also discovered the ‘in the green’ lettuce bun option and find it to be even better than a bun. It’s healthier and fresher tasting a win win.

I like reading marketing literature of food joints. Burger Fi’s says its meat comes from«vegetarian fed» cows. Really? I thought all cows are vegetarian fed? Is there some breed of flesh eating carnivorous cow that I’m not aware of? Anyway, maybe they wish to say grass fed but perhaps they can’t make that claim(grass fed meat is pricier when compared to hay fed meat). Also, I couldn’t find anywhere in their literature any explanation of the BurgerFi name. What does it mean? Does it mean they offer free wi-fi? Are the owners really big fans of REM and their album New Adventures in Hi-Fi. Probably not. So how are their burgers? They are very good but to be honest they’re very similar to in size, shape, and taste to Five Guys’ burgers. However there are some noticeable differences between the two chains. They are … — BurgerFi looks like they paid an actual interior decorator to design it. Five Guys looks like the owners recruited their six year old nephew to design it. — BurgerFi is much cleaner. Nobody throws peanuts on the floor. — Yay! BurgerFi sells beer and wine. Customers can get both shit faced and operate the Coca Cola Freestyle machine at the same time. Kids, don’t drink and drive. — BurgerFi’s prices are very close to Five Guys prices. Maybe a few pennies more. — BurgerFi brands it’s buns with its logo. THAT is a very nice touch, I must admit. When considering all these nice little extras, I think BurgerFi just might have a slight edge over Five Guys.
