The breakfast buffet is excellent, made to order omelets, fresh bread, breakfast meats etc. delicious and satisfying. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Our waitress Liz was very nice! The food was mediocre and overpriced. Mixed drink was terrible and the lemon cake was dry with frosting that tasted like butter. Sorry to say that this was not the fine dinning experience that we had hoped it would be.

We came solely for the breakfast, enjoyed ourselves and left full. High points of the Art of Breakfast buffet included the selection of fresh fruits and berries(even in January!), the 3 kinds of salsa to accompany scrambled eggs, the 2 types of sausage, the assortment of breads and pastries(with a special gluten free table complete with its own spreads and jams) and some really delicious homemade granola(I paired it with fresh raspberries and whole milk.) The coffee was alright, but not as good as I had hoped it’d be.(The coffee in the rooms actually rivaled it… and was hotter.) Servers were polite, but not very attentive. We had to flag people down for refills of coffee and water three times. And while the price included unlimited beverages, we were never offered more juice. Just felt like we should have been a bit more pampered for a $ 56 breakfast for two!

The food was so disappointing. We had the pheasant and the chicken, both of which were dry and salty. The only thing worth eating was the greens with the chicken which were delicious. We also liked a salad which had some chick peas and pickled onions. The restaurant bills itself as ‘farm to table’ but that is hard to believe as they serve watermelon in winter. We would say do not waste your money on this expensive disappointing restaurant. The brunch was acceptable; it came with our room fee. It had excessive amounts of food but standard fare and good quality. The nice surprise was decent coffee. A 46 dollar brunch, however, for two of us…

Wow — their breakfast buffet is AWESOME! All the items in the buffet seemed fresh, scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked bacon and sausage, pancakes, french toast, spicy potatoes. Fresh fruit, bread, pastries — you name it they have it! Oh, I cannot forget the unforgettable bread pudding. Try it NOW. The service was exceptional and the food exceeded my expectations. While I initially thought $ 23 is steep for a buffet, after experiencing it, it’s totally worth it. Splurge, splurge splurge on yourself for this delectable delightful breakfast. Only wish I could have tried the Afternoon Tea Service… next time!

We visited the Omni during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We had the Art of Breakfast Buffet and the afternoon Tea Service in the Crystal Dining Room. The service was wonderful and the quality of the food was outstanding. We only wished our stay was longer

Very small portions and quality just«ok». Service was very good –almost as if they were trying to make up for what was lacking in the food. Nice space but still felt like a glorified cafeteria.

The food quality was very good. The room is beautiful, and the staff is attentive. We were very please with our dinner on the whole. The wine list prices seem significantly inflated even when offering wine from a local vineyard that is decent at best. I had a filet of the rainbow trout that was one of the best I have ever had. It was delicate and prepared beautifully. We enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to done in a room with so much history. I think it is well worth eating here once during your stay.

The term OMG definitely fits. Spent my one year dinner at this restaurant. The room itself was beautiful. Great settings with low light but bright enough to see. Started off our meal with the watermelon salad: something I wouldn’t ordinarily picture together with the spices but it was fantastic. Kind of spicy but beautiful pairing with the sweet fruit. My husband had the potato leek soup: creamy and super flavorful. For my entrée I had the clam pasta: it was great. A red sauce with mushrooms. Had a little bit of a kick but it was amazing. My husband had the lamb: cooked medium, there was juicy texture with a bite of spices. Our waiter was superb. He gave us suggestions which worked out immensely. As we know nothing about wine, whatever he suggested worked, without breaking the bank. I would certainly come here again.

Very disappointed in service and average food. Way over priced and no atmosphere, highly recommend walking to other end of the resort for the 1796 Room. Wayyyyy better.

The appetizer portion is very small for the price. The melon and prosciutto had about one piece of prosciutto on the entire appetizer. Also the melons were not ripe. The main course was much better. Plenty of food per serving and unique offerings like Quail. The wine selection offered by the glass was also a high point. The atmosphere was a bit stuffy but it was worth it for the choice in entrées.

The Crystal Room is one of two nice dinner dining options at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. The food is fine, but the service was a roller coaster. First, they only have 1 person seating guests, so with one couple ahead of us in line, it took 15 minutes for us to be seated, no joke, just because the host moved that slowly in greeting, checking off the name, escorting to table, introducing server, and wandering back to the front. Next, we ordered a bottle of wine, and our appetizers arrived before our server told us that they were out of that bottle. I appreciate that she checked the other restaurant, but the delay was extreme, and we didn’t really want a whole bottle of wine to just accompany our entrees. Nevertheless, we selected another, and it arrived expeditiously. For whatever reason, I barely ate a fourth of my salmon entrée, and it was really good. Ahh, the dilemma of leftovers when you’re out of town. I didn’t want to waste the food, but I didn’t have a way of preserving it either. Our server offered to box it up and store it for us at the café next door so that we could eat it for lunch tomorrow! Talk about going above and beyond — I was thrilled. Following that high, we noticed that they had started to ‘pack up’ the restaurant for the night, which is distracting and made us rush out, even though we were still within posted hours, and others were still there as well(hell, we had to chug the bottle of wine). Overall, it was a nice experience. I recommend the cheese plate for 1(it’s too much for 2 people) and the salmon; consider ordering wine by the glass.

We had breakfast here once during our stay at the resort. The food was of high quality and very fresh. No complaints other than service took a while, as it was very crowded when we arrived. We ordered a la carte so I can’t speak for the buffet, but it looked as though there were lots of options on it as we passed by on our way to our table.

The dining experience was what you would expect: Good décor, food, and staff. The lobster bisque was delicious with generous pieces of lobster. The arugula salad was okay; I enjoyed the dressing and bacon lardoons but the trout that came with it was bland. DH got the salmon and I think it was the best ever. It tasted tender, fresh, and it had a nice crispness on the outside. I ordered the bass. The bass itself was also bland but went well with the sauce and rosti. Overall, a good dining experience.

Four of us ate breakfast at The Crystal Room in the Omni Bedford Springs while staying at this luxurious resort for a friend’s wedding. Yes, breakfast was a bit pricey — $ 22 for the buffet, I believe? — but oh-so-tasty. The food was fresh and high quality. The buffet had a range of eggs and meats and muffins and bread pudding and fruits and on and on. My eyes told me to keep eating, but my stomach made me stop. I’d definitely come back if I was staying at this resort again.

We had a wonderful experience this evening at The Crystal Room at Omni Bedford Springs. We couldn’t get a reservation on Saturday night(but we did wait til we arrived on property to think about reservations on the day of! Our fault!), so luckily since we were staying til Monday, Sunday was wide open. We were greeted immediately by the familiar face of the hostess from the Frontier Tavern the day before… seated right away and introduced to our server Liz. Liz was great, very attentive and prompt. Our food was delicious. I had the polenta and my husband had the duck breast. We skipped dessert because we were just too darn full, but other tables desserts looked fabulous. I would highly recommend the Crystal Room. Remember, it’s a resort restaurant(nicest one on property), so you will pay a higher price than off site. But we found it well worth it! Enjoy!
