Drive through service has been good here though my first visit inside left me disappointed. The food was fine. It was the coffee that wasn’t. First, they didn’t have any made so I was told to wait for five minutes while the made some fresh. The girl helping me got my name and I sat down at the closet seat to the register to wait. She basically forgot about me. At about ten minutes I went up and she didn’t even register that I was the person waiting for coffee even though only three other customers had come to her since I ordered! She didn’t apologize for forgetting but gave me my coffee. The coffee was horrible. I couldn’t drink much and threw half of it in the trash. A nice senior citizen was working the dining area greeting people and wishing them a Merry Christmas. He saw that I wasn’t drinking my coffee and offered to get me some more cream. This was a nice gesture, however, even with the additional cream the coffee was bad.

I’ll explain first why they get 5 stars. Because their customer service is like NOFREAKINGOTHER. They got my order wrong. I was having a crappy day. I was angry. I called. I complained. I didn’t even get into full b**** mode because the minute I explained what I ordered they put my on the phone with the owner or manager or SOMEONE and he asked where I was. I was going to get angry because I was already at work and I thought they expected me to come back in there to get the correct food. Really at this point I was just looking for someone to vent on. That wasn’t going to happen that day, buddy because that man… That blessed little man… He asked again where I was, got the address, and delivered my corrected order to me pronto. TO my work door. Let me repeat this now… A fast food restaurant manager PERSONALLY delivered my measly little $ 7 breakfast order to me due to a screw up in the store, because as he said, I came there /every morning/and they should have known it wasn’t correct because there’s only 1 thing I always order, for myself.(I order more of course when I go for the office, but they KNOW my order) Now, this made me feel 4 immediate things. 1.) I go there way too often. 2.) I am too predictable. 3.) They pay attention to their customers. 4.) I mattered as a customer to them. That, ladies and gentlemen, is why they get 5 complete stars from me, regardless of how I personally feel about anything else. That being said, please read on. Their chicken isn’t as fantastic as you would think, and their flexibility of menu blows. Before I explain what I don’t like, I’ll explain what I do like food wise. I LOVE their breakfast. I love their chick-fil-a chicken platter. I ask for it with spicy chicken, and that comes with a biscuit, gravy, eggs, and a piece of their chicken(Same chicken you get for lunch/dinner time) The fact that they sell simply orange orange juice? HUGE plus for me when they switched because even though it’s more expensive than at the store, the convenience of getting it while I’m there is awesome. Their chicken minis are awesome, and their fruit bowls are always fresh and not frozen. Breakfast is usually the only time I will go to this place. If I have to go for lunch for whatever reason there are some things that I will eat from here, and enjoy fairly well. Their wraps. They have the best wraps of any fast food place. They don’t taste so much like fast food wraps. Mc Donalds can suck a big toe, next to these wraps. Down side, sauce is on the side, so be prepared to open, or sauce as you go. I think thye do this so they can pre-make, without causing everything to get mushy and gross, not sure. Their soup. I don’t even know why I like this. It’s obviously pre-packaged and over mushy vegetables but yet I have this odd obsession with it. If I go for lunch, I’m ordering their soup. It may be because you can sub it for fries for an up-charge and I detest their waffle fries. Soup, or fries? Yeah give me the soup instead. So maybe the soup isn’t that good, and I just reeeeeeealy hate their fries lol Their shakes. Banana pudding in a shake. And I’m not talking pulverized to the point you can’t tell what it is, there is texture to this shake. Flavor to this shake. It is as you would hope for when you hear ‘banana pudding shake’ so yum. They have others as well. I’ve never had a shake of theirs I didn’t like. So now about the things I don’t like. They have a grilled chicken sandwich, and they have a crispy chicken sandwich. Those are your choices. They have a specialty sandwich which is grilled, but you can’t just sub out crispy for it… They have to literally recreate the entire sandwich on their keypad thing in order for you to get it, and depending on how they do that, the price varies by a good dollar or two. It’s insane to not know how much you’re being charged for the same item, from day to day. And they stand a chance of subbing the wrong bun, or cheese, because they manually have to input everything. That seems silly for me they can’t just sub that one item out in that sandwich? I get frustrated, trying to explain it, so I just prefer not to go at all. Who the hell wants to spend extra time in a fast food drive through going through a list of items? For all that I would go to subway. ‘Italian bread, provalone cheese, cold cut meat, lettuce, tomato…‘ Their sauces tend to come on the side, which people aren’t used to. Sub-par chicken. I expect chicken to be like pretty top notch(Within it’s area) coming from a place that boasts about it. So like if it’s a fried chicken fast food place it should have some of the best and signature fried chicken, and it should be(debatably) the best in it’s area of expertise. This I just don’t feel like it is. Their chicken isn’t any better or worse than any other fast food joint, and they don’t even have a wide variety of different sandwiches. That can make it easy and fast to decide however so maybe that’s the goal.

If you’ve never been to Chick Fil-a, this is definitely the one to try! The food is always fresh and tasty! The service is great! They will bring your food to your table if you’re eating in and will bus the table too! The classic chicken sandwich is one of life’s simple pleasures! The waffle fries are always hot and perfect. Getting hungry just thinking about it! So many exclamation marks! Yum!

I like Chick-fil-A in general. Its a well run chain that puts a lot of emphasis on a good customer experience. It’s really the only fast food place we go to anymore. I wanted to single out the Culpeper location in particular for its service. We stop there on our way to visit family, and have come to recognize that the staff at this location is not only well trained, but actually cares about making their customers feel welcomed and comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants(not just fast food places) that could learn a lot from Papa Joe and his staff. Peach milkshakes are awesome too!

Exactly what you would expect from a chick-fil-a. Good hot food, served quick, order exactly right. Very friendly. Asked if there was anything we needed.

Just wanted to say the manager at the Culpeper, VA location was awesome. I lost my cell phone while riding the bus the morning of 10÷1÷2013. She not only let me use their phone, she helped me find the number for the bus and I was able to retrieve my phone I think in huge part to her helping me out. However, I just wanted to say that not only was this experience awesome, but past visits at this location have always been pleasant as well. The entire staff is efficient and friendly. I have to say one of the people that works there(Joy) is the type of person you wish you had working at your business, because when she is not providing friendly service she is out there working hard — cleaning tables, doing whatever she can to help maintain the appearance of the store. Thanks again Chick-fil-A for your help!

This is the best fast-food restaurant in Culpeper. The chicken is outstanding. I always get the chicken deluxe sandwich. Never fails to disappoint.

I love chick-fil-a…a lot. :-P I’ve never been disappointed with this chick-fil-a or any other for that matter. They are always polite & quick with their service. I do wish it was a little cheaper, but it is better quality than the dollar menu at McDs, so it’s worth the money. I get the #1 combo 99% of the time & always opt for the upgrade($.30) for a wheat bun — always fresh & I think it tastes better than the regular buns. Their sweet tea is almost always amazing & I love the waffle fries.

Hmmm. For many years I’ve heard nothing but how wonderful Chick-Fil-A is/was — the long lines for the terrific food, the exuberant service, the high morality of the corporation. So, after oh so many years of hearing how fabulous it is, I FINALLY had my chance. Stopped in here after a movie one Thursday night for a quick bite a few weeks ago, & boy was I royally disappointed! A slab of overcooked(not to the dry point, but way too dark) overly-salty chicken slapped on a totally bare too-soft roll, served with a tiny bag of limp«waffle fries». Even after squeezing on the«special sauce» from its little plastic packet, I wasn’t impressed. Would have actually preferred a chicken sandwich from McD’s or BK! And that’s saying a LOT. Service was friendly. Maybe a bit too friendly. As I squeezed my «special sauce» onto the sandwich & tried to figure out exactly what the sauce was, the guy who was mopping up around us(we came in 45 minutes before closing time) felt the need to lean in & let me know that«everyone seems to like it». Kind of creepy. I did end up with a free chocolate shake though, because they had accidentally made one too many for the order before ours. Would have been nice if it had actually tasted even a tiny little bit like chocolate. Again — other fast food places have better-tasting shakes. Sad. While husband agreed that our meal here was sub-par, he also said that I shouldn’t take this particular meal as a good example of Chick-Fil-A’s everywhere, as he’s enjoyed it at other locations. Said that this location was either having a bad night, or because it was 45 minutes before closing time, or just wasn’t a good location. Whatever. So guess we’ll be giving them another try sometime, but I can’t say I’ll really be looking forward to it.

After a nice day spent in Shenandoah National Park — on the way home stopped in Culpeper, VA to hit the Chick-fil-A. Had something different this time. I always get the nuggets. This time I went for a chicken sandwich combo meal — comes with waffle fries and a drink. I went with the caffeine free Diet Coke. I was expecting the sandwich to have toppings, based on the pictures on the menu board. Turns out I should have ordered the deluxe combo if I wanted the trimmings. Oh well, sandwich was still good. I added a bit of mayo and buffalo sauce to it to jazz it up. Fries were crisp and good. Drink was icy cold. Service was fast.

This was my first Chick-fil-A experience. My boyfriend and I were driving from DC to Charlottesville along the 29 was looking for some food. If you’ve ever done the drive, there’s a stretch where there’s not so much to eat. I was starving, so we pull up and decided on Chick-fil-A(the Five Guys wasn’t open yet). Alas, it was that awkward time where they stopped serving breakfast(10:30am) and before a proper lunch. I had 3 chicken strips. They tasted a little artificially sweet, but I was happy they had buttermilk ranch dressing. For sure, the strips at JITB are better. However, my man had their deluxe chicken sandwich. I must say, as these types of sandwiches go, it was pretty good. Fries tasted like potatoes(even if on the lite side), and could’ve used more salt. Overall, there is better fast food to be had, but there is much worse to be had, too.
