Living so close to this place I sorta felt guilty for never giving them a try until recently. Now. I REALLY feel guilty. The food is SUPERB. I ordered the Pulled Pork & Slaw Sandwich and was immediately overwhelmed by how juicy it all was(folks. buns are pointless if you’re going to put hot sandwiches in enclosed take-out containers) but I’m not complaining. With the addition of a fork, my meal was excellent.

Had the pulled pork with slaw tonight, it was so good!!! Best pulled pork sandwich is the best I have had, and loved the slaw on it too! Huge sandwich it was seriously delicious!

So far I have gone to tonys a few times and every time I have had a delicious sandwich. Their pulled pork beats Pappas soul food if you ask me. My favorite sandwich is the Mac attack, it’s got home made Mac n cheese on a pulled pork Sammy and it’s a game changer. I can’t really couch for the sides because I have never had them. The sandwiches are too big for me to finish by myself so I have no need for a side. My only tip is check you order before you leave sometimes there is a mix up but they have always resolved it quickly and nicely.

I have had BBQ all over this country, and I can say that Tony’s is the best Texas style BBQ this side of the Cascades and for hundreds of miles in every direction. Like all good Texas BBQ, the sauce is sweet– I recommend the spicy sauce– it is very good! If you prefer Memphis or Carolina style BBQ, well there are plenty of places with that style around, and they are pretty much all the same. But if you prefer great Texas BBQ, exceptional sides, and a wide variety on the menu, you gotta check out Tony’s.

You must make the drive to this location! Lucky for me the stand is just a few blocks away… passed it 100 times and finally decided to stop and so glad I did! The hot links were sweet and spicy. The brisket was the best I’ve ever had and the collard greens were delicious! I’ll definitely go back for more!

Well, we’ve had Tony’s food two or three times since my first review, and I admit it, I was stingy. He won first place at the Whit’s «Blues and Brew» celebration, against some pretty good competition.(We voted for him too.) And Tony is aninteresting guy to talk to, a serious student of good barbecue. Everything’s good here, hand made, «low and slow». So a solid four stars. You earned them, Tony!

The meat itself was ok, but the sides were really disappointing, I didn’t even eat them. The price was good because we had a groupon, but even with that I felt like I wasted my money. On top of everything the girl who as working was bordering on rude, but tacky at best. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back or recommend going there.

Really great BBQ for the price. There BBQ brisket is probably one of the best around. Pulled pork was really tender. Friendly staff. I may or may not have loaded up on groupons
