Wow was I pleasantly satisfied! The breakfast was marvelous. The menu had a lot to pick from. We settled on the Route 66 and Bubba. The biscuits were melt in your mouth. Oh and Reagan was attentive waitress. Definitely will return when I’m back in town from California.

This is our family’s go-to breakfast and brunch spot. Always reliable. Always friendly. Always good. Their dark roast coffee is one of our favorites. My husbands favorite is the Traditional. It comes with eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuit or English muffin, and potatoes or grits. It’s a great value! I really enjoy their strawberry crepes and I’ll add chocolate chips. Yum!!! Highly recommend it for a good regular brunch. We come here enough that we have become regulars and that’s so fun!

On our way back from the Rock n Roll Marathon in Nashville — my running mates and I were scrambling to find a place before the Sunday crowds hit. The hangry was taking control– and only brunch would suffice; so we turned to Unilocal for help. J. Christopher’s was the gem we were looking for! Quick and friendly service. Coffee never ran out. And the menu offered fare not always found in the fast food chains, yet was easy to order. Being a vegetarian– I’m usually odd gal out with my carnivorous running group– J. Christopher’s certainly had something for everyone(I had a hard time deciding WHICH dish I wanted! — not vegan, mind you– but easily adaptable if you are).

If you like First Watch you will like this place. It is a little brunch place tucked away, but it is good. We waited maybe 5 minutes for a table and sat down, waited maybe like 10 to 15 minutes for our food after we ordered. It’s good food and not too terribly expensive.

Great spot. Cool ambiance and the service was tremendous. Food was fast and yummy! You’ve got to check this place out when you’re in the area. Also likely to spot a celebrity or three.

Decent food and service. Just not amazing. For the price I probably wouldn’t come back.

Love the new management. This is our favorite breakfast place. Good portion size with reasonable prices. Fast service. Gets busy on Sunday’s, but we always get a seat within a few minutes.

There is nothing special bout this place. The service was fine, but the food was basic and subpar. The atmosphere felt cheap and dirty. My meal came with a little of the last persons meal burned onto the plate. With the open room floor plan it sounded like loudest high school cafeteria you can imagine. I will never return.

I really liked it. The food was almost great; but I’m a total food snob so you should know that. We enjoyed this venue a lot and we ate everything that came our way, it was fresh, hot and tasty. The staff was AMAZING!!! We will for sure go back next time we are in town. The coffee was AWESOMEBTW and i’m a coffee snob too.

The food was just okay… the potatoes were old tasting, bland, and not even warm. They tasted like they were frozen and kept in the oven too long. My omelette was not yummy like I expected, I’ve had better at Denny’s. When they asked if we wanted salsa, we said«yes, please»…only to learn after we got our check, they charge extra for a little bit of commercial salsa. For $ 60.00 for a family of four(two little girls, and not an over indulgent eating family), I would expect an outstanding breakfast!!! And when we went, a pudgy man that was in back of the line simply went in front of the line and sat at one of the biggest booths… cutting in front of everyone. We thought that was very strange and quite rude! We will not be going back! I just wanted a break from making breakfast, but this was the wrong choice. Very disappointed with our one first and last visit to this place.

This is consistent with the chain. The potatoes needed a little more taste to them. My family was happy with what they got. My omelet was just okay. That is why I am doing a 3. The eggs were over cooked and dry. I will try something else than an omelet next time.

Staff here is amazing. Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable of all things on the menu. My daughter and I had the Eggs Benedict w potatoes and the Bubba Plate w grits. She loved the eggs Benedict but did complain about the biscuit being burnt. Still devoured the eggs, and potatoes. I was not as pleased w the Bubba plate. The gravy had absolutely no taste, which makes getting biscuits and gravy pointless. And the grits were basically water w a few grits floating in it. Food could def be better, but the great staff helped even out the experience.

I love J. Christopher’s. The food always arrives quickly and it’s delicious. I got the chocolate chip banana pancakes – they are SOGOOD. My husband got the San Bernidino omelette and enjoyed it as well! The district manager, Kenny, is personable and friendly and provides great customer service. The general manager, Maria, saw me ask a waitress for something and had it over to my table in about 10 seconds. Our waiter today, Jacob, was awesome. Very accommodating and friendly. Fast service and just great overall! I’ll definitely be back. P.s– the atmosphere is fun. Love the artwork on the walls!

Pretty average, not great but not horrible either. We tried to go to two other places but the lines were out of control. After a night on Broadway in Nash, I needed an emergency order of toast and couldn’t wait to eat!!! We were able to get right in at J Christopher’s which made me nervous ha! But it was fine. Big menu, lots of options. It’s basically a local Bob Evans. The real maple syrup option was a nice touch, coffee was burnt though. If you need a quick place to eat without a wait and aren’t overly picky, then you’ll be fine here.

I came here years ago and had a great experience. I wanted a good meal before departing for NJ and came back. The experience this time was much different. For one, when I came before there area was not as built up so it was really easy to find and lots of parking. Now the area is so built up it was a little harder to find and there is much less parking. Food was not as good as I remembered it but not bad. I had a Cajun scramble. Basically some hot sausage in scrabbled eggs. Nothing impressive. The cheese they threw on top of the scramble wasn’t even heated to be melted on the eggs. So it was coldish shredded cheese on top of eggs. They were not that busy where the cheese couldn’t have been melted for a few seconds. The potatoes were good. They had the same cold shredded cheese on top. I liked the portions. Nothing bothers me more for a breakfast than a massive plate of food. So they score points for the right portion of food. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is awesome. There are cool pictures and posters around, bright colors, and people are always nice around you. I sat alone at the coffee bar and the couple next to me was just so much fun to talk to. I do have to say that I prefer this place over a Starbucks or other chain places. It’s worth going to and I will come back.

Ahhh. Is it another day already? Well, if it is, then head to J Christophers for a wake up to good eats, good service, Good Morning. Spacious, bright interior with an eclectic mix of paintings on the walls. But there’s nothing eclectic about their service or food. It’s just plain good. Begin with a congenial greeting from their wait staff who then swiftly bring your eye-opening coffee or tea. This is when the difficult choices arise… so many really tasty things from which to choose. You can have a traditional breakfast Up-town style or Down Home Country style. Heck, go for the — Health-Conscious style if you like. I’ve tried some of each and they all are first-rate, first-class, and«tasteeee». Eggs cooked to your liking, a host of meats from which to choose, pancakes or a waffle for the kids, and the grits… oh, my the grits… buttery, creamy & smooth. Punch ‘em up with a little Cholula or black pepper, or plop a poached egg in the middle as a friend of mine did on a recent visit with me. I personally am a sucker for the«Just Bubba» … Buttermilk biscuits smothered in savory sausage gravy and presented with a side of cheddar scrambled eggs plus a serving of those de-lish grits.(You can have lightly seasoned roasted potatoes if you prefer instead of the grits.) The omelettes are fluffy, moist and stuffed with ham or bacon or peppers or mushrooms or, or… well, you get the point — lots to pick and choose. There are so many good things on the menu you could end up drooling on the table as you try to decide.(So, maybe check it out online before you go… but don’t drool on your keyboard.) J Christopher’s epitomizes my idea of a Breakfast-Brunch establishment. And this one on Frazier Drive hits all the right spots.(Plenty of parking too.)
