New manager needed here. There are 6 empty booths and 4 large tables and people still waiting 20 minutes to be seated then another 30 for our order. Very disappointed and doubtful we’ll be back anytime soon.

I used to be able to stomach this place but this is my last visit here. I ordered a simple breakfast with eggs over medium — meaning no running eggs. They came out cold and I already had to send the pancakes back since they brought the wrong kind. They nuked them and they still were runny — yuck! And brought out the pancakes cold. Waiter never came back, had to hunt him down to get the breakfast taken off the bill. Spent an hour of our lives and didn’t even get a decent meal. Did I say this place sucks! Will not come back — come on Georgetown there has got to be a better breakfast place here!

Sad to say service was not great. The smell in there was awful. I kept getting a pee smell. My husband waited way too long for a drink and pancakes were over cooked. Prob won’t be coming back for a second visit.

Went in at 6:30, waited for about 10 minutes to be seated, with maybe 15 other people actually in the restaurant. Ridiculous. Left after the 10 minutes.

Well, I guess I was lucky my first visit. Needless wait for a table, waitress interested in talking with another customer, pancakes overcooked, longer wait to get coffee and water, had to ask for more coffee, no jelly served, table cleaner brought hot sauce because of long wait for it. Got home, and had to run to the little room in the house that no one likes to clean. Other than the above, everything else was ok.

This morning my husband and I went for a later breakfast around 9:30. We had at least a 10 minute wait if not a little longer. Which we thought was surprising for a Weekday. We’ve been in before and there were not many people there.(I can see why after this visit!) A waitress took us to a table that wasn’t cleaned, so we stood there while she went in the back to get a cleaning cloth. She came back and wiped the table… brushing the crumbs on the seats. She put our menus on the table and said someone will be with us in a little bit. So 10 more minutes or so go by and a different waitress comes to our table and asks what we want to drink and we told her two coffees and one water. She repeated the order back and yet brings us two waters… okay, does’t seem to be that big of a deal, right? So we are waiting close to another 10 minutes for her to take our order when she takes the order of a man who she had just seated! Then she visited with this man a few more minutes after taking his order. Finally she comes to our table and takes our order. I asked if they had fresh jalapeño peppers to which she answered«yes.» My husband asked for pouched, soft runny eggs and we both ordered a side of pancakes. I also asked her to bring some Tabasco back with her when she returns. When we got our order, my husbands eggs were over-cooked, the pancakes we so dry and tasteless and the peppers were not fresh! My husband re ordered more pancakes because the first ones were so bad! Our” never empty coffee pot” was… you guessed it… empty! We had to ask for more. She didn’t bring the Tabasco so I asked her again. While I am waiting for her to return with it, she is visiting with the same man at the other table. The bus boy noticed I was just sitting there waiting and he asked if he could get something for me and I told him that I was waiting for the waitress to bring me some Tabasco. He walked away and came back in about 2 seconds with the Tabasco. Seriously, nearly 10 minutes later after serving that man his meal, she shows up with the Tabasco. So when I told her that I had already been given some by someone else, she asked if I needed anything else and I replied, that we would like some honey and jelly. Shes says she will be right back. She went to the back and came back to that mans table and I sat there and watched her for several minutes visiting and carrying on with the man that I finally got up and asked to speak to the manager. I told her the situation and how the waitress keeps visiting with this other customer while we are waiting for her to bring us what we have asked for. The manager acted like she could careless and proceeded to hand me two jelly’s and two honey’s. We left, came home, and we no more got in the door when my husband got sick!!! We will not be going back there again!!! In my opinion is the only reason they stay in business is because Georgetown doesn’t have many restaurants that serves breakfast!

Terrible place, we came in a party of two, they said the wait would be 15 minutes, that’s all good, but right as we sat down to wait a party of 8 comes in and gets instantly seated. When we asked about our table they said well this party of eight just came in, and we told her we were already on the list. She rudely says oh sorry well now the wait is 20 minutes. Needless to say we went to a different Ihop and had an amazing experience.

We rarely go here but today decided to try it again. The wait wasn’t too long. The«complimentary coffee» in the wait area was empty and when asked for a refill — they put about 2 cups of coffee in it ! Another waiting lady and I chuckled as we used toothpicks to stir in the sugar(no stir sticks). Yes, it’s complimentary– but not well done-and lukewarm. Our dining experience wasn’t the best. Our waitress brought water, coffee, etc. in one load, and spilled it all over the table-water dripping everywhere and down the carafe. She literally tossed extra napkins at us(landed on top the sugar) — and then proceeded to wipe up her mess. The coffee was lukewarm. I asked for a hot cup — which she brought. The carafe was dripping and left some coffee grounds on the table — we wiped it up … again. She seemed to serve everyone like this — too rushed and sloppy — very short, quick and to the point — order please ! It was a busy morning, but people go out to eat not just to fill their tummies — but to have a pleasant meal — this really wasn’t it. The food itself was warm(but not hot). It also gone up in price. We spent $ 25(plus tip) for breakfast for two(strawberry pancakes/smashed potatoes and 2 ingredient omelet/hashbrowns — with add on charge for a biscuit). Prices have gone up — so you’ll easily be at $ 30 incuding tip — for breakfast for two. Just go to Sierra’s — it’s down on Austin Avenue near Williams Drive. A little family owned restaurant with the best breakfast tacos(and lunch) — open until 3PM daily — and quick seating and service. And they never make that kind of a mess on the table or leave you feeling like you’re riding the«wild mouse» at the fair. Sorry to be so blunt — but IHOP really needs to work on customer skills with its staff — if they want to stay in business. Oh, hot coffee and hot food wouldn’t hurt either.

9So. I had a pretty decent tasting open faced sandwich this past Saturday. Nice, thick bread, turkey breast, scrambled egg, cheese. It was supposed to be served with avocado. It was, but the amount of brown on the avocado was disgusting and very unappetizing. The sandwich would have rated the restaurant a 3-star rating, but the brown avocado and the 20 minute wait dropped it down to 2 stars, only because there is no half-star rating on Unilocal to give it 1−½ stars.

The food is pretty good, sometimes servers can be awkward or bland. What I hate is that they ALWAYS set down the check less than halfway through the meal. How rude.

This is generally where my lady and I go if I meet her after she gets off work at 6AM. The service is fairly non existent and we’re usually forgotten about. But the saving grace that keeps us coming back is the food. Granted, not everything on the menu is what I consider edible, the crepes are my weakness. The early morning cook can pull off a pretty dang good order of lingon berry crepes that go so perfectly with a hot cup of coffee that you almost don’t care that you asked for the check 15 minutes ago.

This was a terrible experience for me and my friend. We were sat down and then got nothing. We sat there for almost 15 mins and had server after server walk by with no greeting, no drink order, nothing. This was the first time I have ever walked out of a place. Terrible.

Typical IHOP Mostly seniors on this holiday. Service OK. Modern & clean. Food delivery warm. No Wi-Fi is inconvenient. «Was available, not working or something»

Good breakfast this morning of eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and biscuits. I would not return, though I normally would not eat at IHOP.

I can only give 2-stars for this visit. Service was soooo darn slow tonight. We got there a little after 8pm, and ordered right away since we knew what we wanted. It felt like forever before we got our meals. At least 20 – 25 min in actuality… but for french toast eggs and bacon, seemed a bit long. Never got a refill. Never got extra napkins. Was never offered coffee. We scarfed our meals as we were absolutely starving. Sat for another 15 – 20 min before we saw our server, as he just dropped off our bill and did not offer a refill… even though our empty glasses were at the edge of the table. Parking lot was pretty full compared to what I usually see this time of night, yet there were very few tables occupied. French toast was awesome, but super slow service takes away everything else from the experience. I am sure we will go back, but will definitely go back at a different time. The night shift rarely has their sh*t together.

I like this location. Very friendly people. Of course you got to get Hotcakes when you are at IHOPs. Give them a try.

Seems like your typical newer IHOP. This looks to be mostly a place that deals with traffic from the highway; most of the businesses around here seem to be banks. I imagine things like«no fee checking» doesn’t really elicit hunger. Nevertheless, it’s a pretty nice and clean IHOP. If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. This has the basic menu: I had the ham and cheese omelet with pancakes and these were as good and standard as usual. Service was very prompt, possibly because there were only a few patrons at midday, but nothing to really complain about here.

Rooster Sr. pronounces this the cleanest IHOP in the world. Its obviously relatively new. Its was like quoting the old lady from the Titanic movie. «The smell of fresh paint; the china had never been used.» So I didn’t find the Heart of the Ocean; but the food we ate was on par with other locations in the chain. My International was prepared to order. I went out of my usual pancake comfort zone and tried the Nutella crepes. Even with the strawberry topping, I found the crepes to be on the dry side. There wasn’t much filling but the bites that actually had the hazelnut spread with banana slices were vaguely promising. My dining companion’s lite Harvest Grain and Nut combo seemed to pass inspection. She said that for a place that has pancake in their title; they could be better. I’m thinking that if you visit this place in the next year you’ll probably have the same dining experience we had. After that, look for worn down over washed coffee mugs and some trucker dude ordering a double T-Bone dinner with extra gravy. Everything will be sticky from maple syrup; and there will be at least two cops in the parking lot at all times. You guys better hurry!
