Very pricey for the subpar food and service. I hate to write bad reviews because I know people really try, but this was not the case here. The steak was okay(for $ 25!) but the lobster was terrible! You get one side and a salad with the meal and they were both below average. The salad wasn’t tasty and the baked potato was still very hard throughout. I can’t complain about everything, the bread was delicious. Service: 1 star, took forever to get refills. Food: 2 stars, very pricey for average food. Price: 1.5 stars, steak is expensive but should taste much better than it did. Overall, 2 stars. I’d be hard pressed to return for another chance. I can eat at average Chilis 3 times for that price and get the same food or better.

Horrible service and a long extended waiting time to get in, food served horribly along with bad waitress and food was badly prepared.

Quality was fair. Prices high for the overall experience. For almost $ 60 for two people, I will go elsewhere in the future. The server was fair. The speed of service was slow based on the business on hand and being a Friday night as well.

Very upscale looking, modern restaurant. The décor is modern and it had a full bar. However the food was only fair to middling. I had a salad which was not particularly great and could have done with more dressing. My husband’s hamburger excellent which is why this review made it to the 2 star level. Our server was also very slow. Not sure what was going on there but I imagine that in a more upscale restaurant like this the service would normally be better. But thats how it was for us.

Steak was good but could have used less seasoning to let the flavor of the steak come thru. Service ok and the restaurant really looks nice inside. I would go for lunch on a weekday when there might be some specials. A little pricey for a quick lunch after church.

Updated review. Gave them a 5 before. Now I am giving them a 2. The whole experience was bad from the word go. We ordered jalapeño shots. They were just ok. Not even fresh out of the fryer. The dressing they were in was good. That’s it. We had to ask our server for bread. The butter was cold which meant it was hard to spread. DH and I both ordered the Renegade 6oz steak cooked medium rare. He also ordered his with shrimp and rice pilaf. Steaks came very rare and no shrimp. While we waited and waited for our server, the potatoes got cold. He took the steaks back. We said just keep the potatoes the same. Keep them warm. We’ve been eating them. Just fix the steaks. Also order a water refill. Once the steaks came back, we again asked for water. At this point, the shrimp arrives. The steaks were cooked slightly more but still not proper. Also no butter sauce. And we have new potatoes. Mine has no butter and DH has no cinnamon and sugar on his sweet potato. Ugh! Seriously? Yet again, we flag our server for butter, sour cream and the original water refill. He decides not to say anything about the cinnamon and sugar. So, we struggle through this meal in disbelief as to what has happened. We’ve decided against dessert. Why chance it, says DH. Server says special I got comes with dessert. So we order a peanut butter cheesecake. Guess what we receive? You’ll never believe it! Banana cream pie. Yep. What a perfect ending to a perfect meal. Not! Needless to say, we won’t be going back for a while, if ever. The manager, Tiffany, was the best thing that Longhorn had going for them. Too bad she works at another location.

The host sat in a booth and chatted for 5 minutes while we waited to be seated. He greets us in a dirty shirt, finally and get us seated. 10 minutes later a waitress appeared. My steak was rare, I ordered medium. I won’t go back. Salad and potato were good. I have been contacted by managers and yesterday they sent flowers. That was a nice gesture and appreciated. I’ll give them another try. Any one can have an off day. That was just several«off» things in one dinner. Thank you for the effort, Longhorn.

Go when you have a lot of time to spare. Went several months ago & had extremely slow service. Figured it was just an off night & not the norm. Went for lunch this week & same issue. Even the waitress commented on how long it was taking & said she went to talk with the manager. At least our waitress was proactive in recognizing it without us saying it first. Food is pretty good. Lunch specials are good value.

90 minutes. No food. It’s not even full in here. Go to the one in Round Rock if you can.

I was disappointed tonight. My steak was cold, my «loaded» baked potato was not loaded, it had a few sprinkles here and there, and was lukewarm. The service was good, he was very attentive. But I would rather have great food and lukewarm service as opposed to lukewarm food and great service! This is my second time here, probably won’t come back! And to top it all off, it was a bit pricey!

Stopped in for lunch yesterday with my wife and a friend from Liberty Hill. Had the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich while my wife and friend had the salad with tomato and chicken. My sandwich was very good and the girls said there’s was also good. Dylon K was our waiter and he was very efficient also. I’ve eaten at a few of these Longhorns around Austin and San Antonio and I have always had good service and good food. It’s not gourmet — but neither is the price. It’s a good meal at a fair price and good service. You could do much worse for the money, I recommend them.

Well I deleted the last post where it was a horrible experience. We went back on Wednesday @ 4:30 pm and we were greeted by Carlos the manager and taken care of by Melissa and Debbie. These two and Carlos are how a party should be treated. I’m sure it was just a bad day for the previous bartender but unequivocally the crew knocked our service out of the park! Carlos Thanks for the awesome service and we shall return very soon. Kenny G

Better experience this time. Service was fast. Steaks were tender and cooked as ordered – juicy and delicious. They have not improved their beer selection. Need a pale ale and an IPA on draft or bottled. Waiter needs to be more knowledgable about types of beers.

Salt, butter and more salt. The chicken fried steak was like eating a salt cube. The mash potatoes were covered in butter and the green beans were cold. The beer was cold but I won’t be back, this place has tanked

I have been there 3 times and every time they are out of prime rib. The service was awful the last time I ate there, after that service I won’t be back. Not a fan of this longhorn. Very disappointed!

My wife and I like to go out to eat often. The food here is ok(3 stars), however every time we’ve eatten here, over the last year the service has been terrible. But since there are not many options in Georgetown for restaurants opened later in the evening(except fast food), we’ve tried Longhorn again and again. Aside from one waitress, the service tends to be really slow, the waiters/waitresses are unresponsive, and sometimes rude. I’ve had some very bad experiences there, here is one example: we were there and the waiter was busy with his closing down a section, and did not come back to our table for at all(once we got our food). We attempted to get drink refills and we couldn’t flag him down. I finally flagged him down, and requested that he bring us our bill, it took him 15 minutes to get our bill, and there was an error. They charged us for an item that was included in the meal, the waiter disappeared to the kitchen and came back 5 minutes later(yes it took 5 minutes) to say that the manager didn’t understand the issue. He went back again to try and correct it, and came out(again another 5 minutes) and he said he explained it to the manager, and that the manager said«we’ll catch you the next time». Instead of fighting, I just paid the bill.
Because of that experience we did not go back for 6 months. We went back a few weeks ago and the service was better, however when you are paying 60 dollars for 2 meals, I expect a bit better than«meh». Honestly this place is usually my last resort– we go there when we want to be close to home(don’t want to leave Georgetown), and I really want a cream soup and/or ribs, and it’s later at night(after 7).

This was a great, predictable place to go to that caters to a diverse demographic. They’re centrally located at Wolf Center, so you can finish up your shopping, and come here for dinner. I liked the aesthetics of the restaurant — done in warm tones, and kind of comfortable. They’ve got a bunch of booths, so If you’re a family with kids, or a night out with a group of friends, you can get comfortable here, and order drinks. I ordered the Redrock Grilled Shrimp — A dozen grilled shrimp glazed with smoky tomato butter. Served over rice with garlic butter for dipping. You get your choice of side, and went with a salad. This was a whopping 16.49, though! Shrimp was good and juicy. Rice, quite honestly, tasted too«boxed»(i.e. instant rice) A friend of mine ordered the flat iron steak, though she claimed that what she got was the sirloin. We never disputed it, though. Staff was fairly attentive, and again, I thought the food was good, but not necessarily at that price point(not for the shrimp). Actually, the steaks seemed reasonably priced, but kinda hard to gauge the size that you’re actually paying for. If I could give this place 3−½ stars, I would! Wasn’t bad, though not a ginormous wow-factor for me, either. I’d come back if I was with a group of people…

Here is the deal. If you came to Longhorn for something other than Steak, you probably won’t leave thinking it is 4 stars. This is a true steakhouse with excellent fresh choices. I have not ever been here where myself or my companions disliked their steak. The fish and chicken on the other hand is in need of some help! If steak isn’t your thing it still might be worth a visit for their fried Asparagus and Chocolate Stampede cake. Seriously good! So If you order a steak with Asparagus and cake its four stars. If you order anything else… uh…let me know how it goes.

Came here for lunch the other day and sat at the bar. Awesome food, awesome staff, and awesome drinks. Happened to meet the GM, don’t recall his name but it was very refreshing to see him walk out of the kitchen with food for tables, and actually take time to talk to his guests, So keep up the good work longhorn! You are doing it right

So I know it’s kind of a sin to come to a steakhouse and not order steak, but at 2 in the afternoon, I’m just not prepared for that kind of commitment. I ordered the lunch grilled chicken & strawberry salad and the shrimp and lobster chowder! SOGOOD! The fruits and dressing and chicken, oh my! My lunch date ordered the rib eye and loves his as well! :) We’ll be back! Oh, not to mention our server, Katie, was fantastic! :)
