Friday my company called in a order and when i went to pick it up Cameron the order pick-up gentleman explained to me that the order didn’t go through their system. without hesitation he jumped on the order and took care of it himself. Cameron is a very nice person and takes pride in his work. Thank you Cameron. Ernie

All Mcalister’s are really good food. My only complaint is little pricey and portions seem to be getting smaller. Maybe that’s my imagination. Stupid app wants a longer review, don’t really know what else to say so now I’m just writing whatever comes to mind in order to make this review long enough.

Clean, relaxed atmosphere. Food is consistently fresh. Wild-berry lemonade is tasty but too sweet.

I am very upset with our service tonight. We walked in and it was freezing. Multiple couples got there food to go and 1 walked out. It was ridiculous! I complained to the manager and she said she isn’t authorized to turn it up… If you aren’t, than who is!!! Do everything you can for the customer doesn’t apply to this location! We will not be returning.

Frequent customer. Love all their options and friendly service. Everyone always wants to help out. Everything comes out quick and right. Which doesn’t happen for me very often considering I’m celiac and pregnant. The salads are huge and full of veggies. Thanks you guys, I am always happy when I leave.

We love it here. They have great and delicious food at reasonable prices. The kids meals are always .99 cents and that is amazing(especially in this town). The ONLY reason I am giving them 3 stars is because on multiple occasions we have noticed rude employees. I mean they’re mostly high school kids so I get it but seriously, don’t tarnish the delicious bites with your bad attitudes.

Great meal just regret ordering potato salad. My firdt time to eat here. Sandwich was okay service great. The potato salad sucked. If your going to not make your own at least order from a better supplier.

I don’t remember Mcallisters being this great! Went here with my daughters basketball team while traveling for a tournament and ended up going back three times during weekend because it was so great! Love their sweet tea! Pastas were awesome as were sandwiches. And of course I had to get a potato and it was equally impressive! Will definitely search out my local Mcallisters deli.

I frequent here a lot. Their Southwest Turkey melt is my favorite. Although deceptively warm outside, a recent rainy day prompted me to try their four cheese chili. Delicious! In the 30 minutes it took me to finish my lunch, four separate employees came up and asked me if I wanted a drink refill. What service.

We’ve been there twice and both times we’ve had disappointing experiences. The first time my soup came out cold. When I sent it back I received some strange looks from the staff. It came back… cold again! I brought it back again. It came back luke warm. I gave up. I was tired of their staff looking at me like I was crazy. I even had my husband try it to make sure it wasn’t just me. We tried doing take out from them tonight. We ordered online. It said to pick up at 8:03pm. My husband gets there and the foods been sitting out for about an hour. The staff accused my husband of not coming on time — then he pointed out the receipt stated pick up time at 8:03pm. The girl went to talk to the manager(who never came out to speak with him). She then offered to have the food reheated. When my husband went to leave with our food she said to him, «Next time you’ll know better.» Better than what? Better than coming at the time YOU told us to come? This is so disappointing because we like the menu options at McAlister’s Deli. We just don’t like the way the staff treats their customers. I mean — not even an apology for the timing problem? Just a begrudged offer to re-heat the food that had been sitting out for an hour.

Normally I love this place! Today food tastes great but the portions keep getting smaller. My half sandwich was four bites. Wow. I am going to have to go get another meal after this.

I love McAllisters. They are very consistent. A nice place to sit and visit with friends and get a good meal at a reasonable price. I’ve been going there since they opened and still go quite often. Love ‘em!

We ordered a soup and pot roast spud combo and a philly cheese steak, if you’re looking for an awesome sammich… keep looking… the food was good but as an example, the cheese steak ain’t Hoody’s, if you haven’t been to Hoody’s, make time for a really great philly cheese steak.

Similar setup and menu to Jason’s Deli. The New Yorker is a combo of lean corn beef and pastrami that rivals the Reuben at Spec’s deli as one of the best sandwiches in the Austin area. The side of potato salad complemented the sandwich perfectly. Service was friendly and attentive.

I give two stars because I did really like this place. However… my husband and I, the last two times we have eaten here, have come home and within an hour barreled over with food poisoning. It was awful, worse than the flu. We were tag-teaming the bathroom through the night and next day. Twice in a row. Seriously? We had ordered completely different things, so we can’t even figure out how it happened. Every now and then when we’re trying to find a pace to eat we consider coming here again… but every time decide we can’t risk getting that horribly sick again. Sorry guys. :(

I usually like Mcallister’s. I really do. For some reason, this didn’t measure up to what i typically get from the MCA. As some of you may remember from a talk thread I posted several months ago, I’m a sucker for the soggy goodness of the French Dip. So when my good friend, and budding Unilocaler Martha N took me to Mcallisters, and I spied the French Dip on the menu board, I said, «Yes, HECK yes!» I also observed on the soup of the day menu, Chicken and Dumplings, which I’ve been seriously craving recently. This can’t go wrong, I thought to myself. Alas, it seems things could go awry. The French Dip arrived stone cold, with tepid au jus to dip in. *sigh* The chicken and dumplings, also, seemed to have come from a can. i expected the C&D to be like a homemade soup, with biscuit-like dumplings. I dunno. I remember years ago eating a can of Dinty Moore C&D, and it being identicle to what I had yesterday. Unlike my french Dip, it was molten hot, and I burned my tongue. On the plus side, the sweet tea was awesome, and hit the spot. Not too sweet, like some sweet teas. The staff was very courteous, and go out of their way to serve. So, perhaps it was an off-night. I’ll be back. There’s a roast beef & cheddar with horseradish sauce i need to try. That’s The Power Of Beef. It always makes me come back.

Just an upscale version of Subway and Jason Deli — prices are kind of on the high side — They have some really good sweet tea.

My love and I have been here a few times and yes young people are running the show, kind of ironic for the city of Georgetown IMHO. We went here while waiting for his haircut time to come up. We stopped by here and split a cobb sandwich. delicious! and shared a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar soup. perfect. and HITTHESPOT. 2nd visti: had ½ BLT sandwhich and ½ Savvannah Chopped Salad. Delicious. i’d order this again in a heartbeat. The love had the max spud w/everything and it was delicious. Service: Young folks who were all super friendly and attentive. coming by to refill water. and we had just come from the gym so it wasnt like they mistook us for rich folks.. we were very underdressed but the svc was better than the 1882 café at the Driskill.. . beat that 6th street and Brazos.
