This Carl’s Jr, located just off the 580 Freeway off the South side of the Airway Blvd exit, is one I’ve visited several times on my way home from the Bay Area. It is very conveniently located on the same exit I take to fill up with cheap gas at the local Costco. I’m usually in a rush at the beginning of a 4 – 5 hour road trip, so I usually drive through this Carl’s Jr/Green burrito restaurant. On a visit Iast summer, I ordered a chorizo egg and cheese burrito. It was surprisingly decent for a fast food restaurant. I shall continue to stop here whenever I’m driving long distances simply because of the convenience factor. Who knows, I may actually make it inside one of these days.

My first time coming here and I had the best customer service ever! The girl that was working the drive thru this morning was very friendly, bubbly and gave up everything we needed. She made my morning!

My husband went through the drive through the other day and ordered one medium fries and one large fries. He gets home and we only have one order of the fries. Granted we live in Pleasanton and its not far from Livermore but the last thing we want to do is drive all the way back for that order of fries. Next time get the order right! We are not going to this location again.

Their service is great! they take the food to the table, which is good because after a long road trip you don’t want to get up. their staff are super nice and very helpful Their location from inside is clean as well as the outside. It is a bit lonely i do not know if it is a good thing or if it is a bad thing. A good thing too is that they have many store around there too.

I went back the same day to get my breakfast burrito fix. I ordered the steak and egg burrito with no pico sauce. Went back to work and BAM it was loaded with tomatoes and onions. GROSS !!! I drove back and went inside to change it and I watched the lady in back make it after being told specifically no tomatoes or onions and what did she do… loaded it up again. The nice girl at the counter couldn’t believe the woman had done it again and went back and made one for me herself the way that I’d asked for it. I will not be back.

When i ask for no onions and i get onions every time i’m going to write a bad review. I speak clearly. And they say okay. This is why i feel fast food workers should not get paid more then minimum wage. How hard is it to NOT put onions on my order. High school kids can do this job freaking high off whatever why cant adults do it sober. Can the people in the back not read the screen(can they read at all) Can the person working the drive through mic get off of facebook and actually put What i ask for down correctly? How hard is it to follow one basic instruction?

Many thanks to Karen for her kindness and knowledge of the ingredients available! As a gluten free vegetarian, it was a great surprise to enjoy a fresh and delicious dinner from Carls Jr tonight :-)

Good food and friendly service. Way better than jack in the box. I had the santa fe grilled chicken which was great. Family all liked theirs too.

We came here to fulfill my craving since I’m pregnant and HAD to have a western bacon cheeseburger… But the credit card machine was down so they were only taking cash. We were in a hurry to get to a wedding so we didn’t have time to go anywhere else so we scrounged $ 8, but didn’t have enough for two meals so we had to settle with the value menu and a western bacon cheeseburger sandwich only! Probably best since fast food is bad for us anyways… But then it took another 5 minutes at the window to actually get the food! The managers was talking to the window man and they looked scrambled… But it just sucked! They could have offered a coupon or something at least so we could have gotten something better!

I know it’s bad to eat here… but saw burger on TV last night and fig eh… why not… didn’t want rabbit food again today. Will make it up at the gym tonight and with a healthy dinner. Spot is kewl… right down from work and good service. Always clean cuz I swear. almost everytime a customer or two leave they clean the entire place. Wiping down tables and chairs, collecting trays, etcetera. Always greeted by a nice staff person with a smile and they are very considerate when bringing ur food. Thanks employees for always being happy. Definitely brings a smile to my face. Food is always good and hot. I usually like #2 if and when come but thought would try the new Philly burger. Here’s to good eating…

I thought I’d give this location another shot because it’s super convenient to me. Also, that pop tart ice cream sandwich rocks my world. The fries were gross and tasted like dirty fry oil. My chicken sandwich was dry and their ranch comes in a little tub not prepackaged and tastes yucky. Just to ruin my night, my beloved ice cream sandwiches taste like they were in the deep freezer with some burgers… And they don’t come in air right sealed packaging. *gross*

For most of my career I’ve been cursed with bosses that have no taste. Not that I don’t like Carl’s Jr. Its fine. If I’m in a hurry, Ill come here. I just hate having the choice made for me. This was not the day I wanted fast food, but of course I haaaaad to. The best option I went with was the Grilled Chicken on a Cesar with a Diet Dr. Pepper. I have to say this for this location. The employees were so friendly. You could really tell that they were enjoying their jobs. I really appreciated that and it did put me over on coming here again. But yes, for the most lack luster Chicken Salad in the world. Come here. You wont be disappointed.

7am, I’m the only one in the drive through and no customers in side. They still could get my order wrong. Thank you for the loaded burrito with nothing but eggs and gravy… nasty :(

I went here on a Saturday night with several friends. Most of us got our food quickly, and it was hot and pretty standard for a Carl’s Jr. The only disappointment was paying $ 3+ for chili cheese fries and receiving a box with fries, melted cheese, and what can only be described as a nugget of meat. We brought the meat nugget to one of the cashier’s attention, and he had it remade. The second time, we got a couple clumps of chili and some unmelted shredded cheese on top of some fries. And to boot, the chili kinda sucked. If that’s the best you have to offer, Carl’s Jr, you’re gonna have to remove the chili cheese fries option, or suffer the wrath of chili cheese snobs like me.

This place makes really great burgers. You can tell that they care about their burger quality. I don’t know how it’s possible… But it’s one of the better ones in the area. I think the only thing I don’t really like is their drink selection. I can’t really think of anything that is caffeine free. I usually love caffeine, but I should cool it with the caffeine. Growing up…

I ordered the Steak & Egg Burrito for $ 3.19. The Steak was delicious and the Scrambled Eggs were great. A very good Breakfast to start the day from this Drive Thru.

This is a pretty solid Carl’s Jr. The few times I have been here it has always been a clean store. The food comes out Fast toobut thsi may be due to the fact that their have not been very many patrons in front of me. Go for the 6 dollar avocado burger. Yum.

I have no idea why I am writing this review for Carl’s Jr, but I guess I just realized that I really need to start Unilocaling more so here is the first addition to my New Years Resolution to Unilocal more often: This particular Carl’s Jr is one of those Carl’s Jr/Green Burrito hybrids. I must admit– both sides of the menu looked pretty tasty. I hadn’t eaten yet today when I got there, but I also hadn’t eaten at a CJ’s in quite a while so it took some finesse to finally make a decision. Burrito or burger??? So many choices!!! I wound up going with the Chicken BBQ burger meal, medium, with criss-cut fries. The meal was complimented by a rather large medium raspberry iced tea. After ordering, I proceeded to the restroom to wash my hands, on my way there, I scoped out what we were working with. The inside was beautiful. Nice flat screens were strategically placed in eye’s view showcasing delicious-looking food. The seating area was clean, which is always a good sign. Even the restrooms were well kept. I’d say overall the food was more along the lines of a 4-star rating. Very fresh produce, the criss-cut fries were fried perfectly, not too soggy, not too crispy, but in the words of Goldilocks, they were«juuuuust right.» I even threw one of those badboys in my burger and wondered, «does anyone make a potato burger? This is really yummy!» The only bad aspect of this restaurant was the customer service. Two younger employees were working at the front while I was overlooking the menu and deciding. One male, one female. One white, one black. Not saying it matters, but if you go there and you get bad service you’ll know who I’m talking about. Neither were friendly, nor looked like they wanted to be there. Not saying I blame them, but I never want to be at work and I don’t look like that. I’m not even in customer service anymore. There was a Hispanic woman who was a little bit older, she was pretty friendly. The white guy was the one who dropped off the food at the table, he asked the person I was with, «can I get you anything else?» «Yeah. BBQ sauce please.» He never came back. I understand it’s a fast food chain and not a restaurant, but even for fast food, CJ’s is a bit expensive. I’ve worked in restaurants and in retail for just shy of a decade, so I know customer service. All I’m saying is, if you don’t want to do extra work(i.e. grab some BBQ sauce), don’t ask. P. S. I would have left them a tip regardless of how much service they provided me for the sole reason that I think it’s a nice gesture, it’s always appreciated, and I know how it is to work in the industry… had the service not sucked.
