I visited this location tonight. I ordered Mexidip and chips. See pic I posted. Beans were hard and crusty. I went through the drive through. They were very slow. Good was horrible. Wish I would have checked food before getting home. Won’t go back! Bad food and slow service.

Stay away!!! We love Taco Bueno, and we stopped here last night because we were very hungry and needed something to take back to our hotel. There is no other word for it. The food was absolutely disgusting and completely inedible. The next morning I stopped by on our way out of town to try to get refunded. The«manager»(or claiming to be) was rude right off the bat and gave us no help. He claimed we didn’t have«proof» it was our order. He also said«I should have called last night» and«You need to have the food with you.» Nonsense. I standing there with the receipt in hand and the same card I had paid for the food with. It seemed to me as if they get people in there asking for refunds all the time and know exactly how to get rid of them, because the«manager» seemed well-rehearsed. This«Taco Bueno» franchise is running a borderline scam. They use the Taco Bueno name to dish out sub-par & disgusting food to take people’s hard-earned money. Don’t be a victim. Avoid at all costs.

This Taco Bueno has to be the worst run store anywhere. I have gone by on numerous occasions in the morning around 6:45 — 7:00 and they never respond to me in the drive thru. I’ll go to the window and do not see anyone. I also get crapola for food. The bean burritos they gave me this morning seriously looked like poop.(No offense to poop). There is no way I could eat them. I have complained before. The corporate office gives coupons. The problem with that is that I still get the same poor quality food. My experiences at this location have been so terrible it has turned me off to Taco Bueno at any location. They really need to fire everyone there. Such a shame. I use to love Bueno. So sad.

Ordered grilled steak and grilled chicken fajita tacos because the pictures looked so nice with the overflowing steak and chicken and sliced avocados. When we got our order there were a couple of slices of steak and a few pieces of chicken without the avocado slices. Can we sue for misrepresentation? Seriously the servers were too focused on their friends waiting for them inside that’s probably why they messed up our order. Very disappointed at this Taco Bueno. Never had service this bad at any Taco Bueno before. Should have gone to Nom Noms would have gotten more for my money.

My daughter and I paid our first visit ever to Taco Bueno. We weren’t very impressed. The staff did not appear very friendly. The food was very mediocre. The restaurant didn’t appear clean and inviting. I hope this was just a bad day for them. Unfortunately, reading the other reviews, it may be their norm. I hope the company notices this review and attempts to turn around this restaurant.

$ 0.49 Party tacos and burritos this weekend. Tacos are bigger than you’d think given the name. Vegetables were fresh, and the meat was plentiful. Service was very friendly. Seriously, the issue is the location. Unless you have a reason to be at Virginia and North Central, do yourself a favor and stay away from this intersection. It is a disaster.

This place sucks. Once was good not anymore they do not get orders right. Skimpy on the portions and the taco shells are old and little. Quest taste like watery cheese also the sauce that even tastes watery the burritos are skimpy in portions. The only thing I like was the Mexican rice. What has happened to this taco Bueno GETITTOGETHER! !!!

An Open Letter to Taco Bueno, Hi there — I wanted to let you good people know things have not been running so smoothly at your Mckinney store as of late. I’ve lived in this town since 2006 and, being new to the state, I quickly discovered and became a fan of Taco Bueno. And for years everything was great — the food, the service — everything. Lately, however, the service has taken a considerable downturn, particularly with getting orders correct. Now, I’ve never been flat out given the wrong item, but I’ve had several occasions in the past year where things were forgotten. One of things I love about Taco Bueno vs. other taco establishments is the plentiful sides and extras that accompany each meal. I appreciate that attention to detail. Since I always get the same thing — a Beef Muchaco Platter — it always stands out when they forget to include some of it. Several times in the past year I’ve arrived home to find they forgot to include the side bag of chips. I get annoyed in the moment, sure, but in the end I just chalk it up to a busy night and human error. We all make mistakes. But tonight I’d gotten so used to it that I didn’t move my car until after I’d checked the bag. Sure enough, they’d forgotten the side chips. I felt a small burst of victory — I’d finally beaten the human condition at my local Taco Bueno. It was short lived, though, because when I got home I realized they forgot to include sour cream, guacamole and even a plastic fork. I guess I could just keep playing this forgetfulness arms race. You know, check inside the box next time. Demand the precious sour cream that is rightfully mine. But it could just as easily escalate further and next time I’d get home and find no beef hiding in my Beef Muchaco. And then before too long I’d find myself rifling through a hot muchaco, lettuce tumbling down between seat cushions, the cold winter air and car fumes spilling in from the window, everything seeming to be accounted for and get home and find out somehow they’d left the riboflavin out of the tortilla. And I want my riboflavin. Since corporations have been declared people, I’m asking you, Taco Bueno, as one human being to another — give me a reason to trust you again. I’m challenging you to pick yourself up and become the once great taco drive through establishment you used to be. Maybe it’s time for some soul searching. Maybe you need to figure out what you really want out of this life. If you come to the realization that you just don’t have it in you to remember every last drop of sour cream and account for every last dollop of guacamole and decide that you should just call it quits, then so be it. A respectful way to bow out. But please, for the love of all that is delicious and crunchy, stop living the lie of over promising and under delivering on your good name. Respectfully, David Calkins Customer Number 110849 Mckinney, Texas

I am a self professed«Buenohead»! I have been eating this since I was in the womb! It is my favorite fast food Tex-Mex restaurant. The Chicken Mucho Nachos are the bomb digity. Tostada chips with diced chicken, chili con carne, queso, refried beans, sour cream and tomatoes. I often sub the black beans for the refried and it is even better! The beef bueno chilada is also a favorite of mine, ground beef in a flour tortilla smothered in queso. It hits the spot every time. I must confess though I am not a fan of the Mexican rice. So, that is the only draw back. I never get the platters because I am do not like the rice.

Found a hair in my food. They refunded me, but it was still gross.

First off, I love Taco Bueno! Mexidips & Muchaco Meal… my favorite. I have not been to a Taco Bueno location that has let me down as of yet. The orders are right the first time and they are very generous on their salsa! I would give this location five stars if it wasn’t for the parking lot. You are almost guaranteed to bottom out with the potholes as you pull up.

Well this made it to the list of «taco night» destinations. My family and I don’t get to Bueno often these days. We used to be «Buenoheads» but we’ve ventured out and explored other options. This location had a makeover recently. I like it! There is a bit a of a cozy feel yet still fast food joint. Mexi dips n chips was the featured item this week with a free white queso. This is my kids’ old favorite. My husband and both of my kids ordered this. I stuck with my favorite, Chicken Nacho Salad which consists of chips, chili con carne, queso, lettuce, shredded cheddar, diced tomato. I add a heap of pico de gallo from the salsa bar. It was yummy gooey goodness and still cheap! My daughter shared a bite of each of her dips with me. I have to say they were pretty flavorful, by that I mean salty. I don’t remember it being that way but I also wasn’t comparing it to anything, just eating here often. Overall, it was a good and cheap meal. I’ll stop in again for a nacho salad fix every once in a while. I remember the tortilla soup being good too.
