Located in the Mill Creek Towne Center, N’Joy Sushi is a great place for sushi. From the outside it looks as if it may be your typical Teriyaki place but as soon as you walk in you’ll notice a small intimate restaurant that has tables for seating or you may choose to sit at the little bar area. It is a very clean establishment with outstanding service. We were a party of 10 and on a busy Saturday evening our waitress did not neglect our table. Their menu had a wide variety and lots of gluten-free options for my husband and I. Serving size was a very generous amount that we ordered a little too much and had leftovers to take home. My husband had the Chirashi bowl which is a bowl of rice, mixed greens, assorted sashimi, pimientos, and topped with tobiko. I had the grilled mackerel with rice and a green salad which came in a tostada shell. We also ordered the 911 roll to share-which had a perfect amount of spice. Oh, my husband also had their house sake with his dinner. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back again.

All the rolls we have tried are fresh and fantastic. They even made one of a kind special. Service rocked. Back again and the malony(potato noodles) was fresh(homemade) and delicious. Only served Friday and Saturday nights! Come get ya some! Tempura usually isn’t my thing. However, it’s so light on the shrimp that it’s the best blend the two could have. See you next time Kai!

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. It’s part of a strip mall but it’s really nice on the inside and they have wine and beer. We got the grilled salmon, imitation California rolls, and real California rolls. The salmon came with miso soup and a salad. Everything was delicious, the salmon cooked perfectly and the wait staff was on point. Will definitely be coming here again in the future!

Looks like a typical teriyaki restaurant from the outside but it’s actually a quaint clean restaurant bar inside. They have a good selection of sushi rolls. They have all you can eat rolls for $ 30. Very hearty(big) size rolls. Delicious! Good service too. I told the waitress I have 20 minutes to eat only and she got my food out quickly. I’m recommending this restaurant to sushi lovers!

Sushi is pretty good, but service is very rude. I was told I was«expected» to tip and yelled at because her servers don’t live off much… This was after she was yelling at her server ruining 20 minutes of my date…(I don’t have a problem tipping if service is good) In my eyes this is a bad business model and lost my business about a year ago. Besides that if you’re looking for good sushi and don’t have a budget it’s not a bad place. Management just needs help.

I loved the sunomono salad. Octopus cold and delicious. Spicy tuna roll is great. Cold and with a little bite. The ginger is sweet & spicy. Really good. The tuna has just the right of kick to it. Service was very nice. I will defiantly be back.

I eat here way more often than I should!!! I’m going to go broke eating here! Lol. But I really do love this place. I get take out all the time. Their rolls are good, the baked salmon roll is SOOOOOGOOD. So good. Except, I’ve noticed that one sushi chef is better than the other… And sometimes there will be bones in my salmon rolls, which is not good. That’s the only reason for the four stars.

My wife wanted sushi so we decided to give this place a spin. It was good. The food tasted very good and was all fresh. I guess if it wasn’t, this would be a pretty hostile review considering what that means in the sushi world. We will eat here again but the reason for the lower number of stars is the stupid rule about charging extra for uneaten sushi when you buy the«all you can eat» option. If someone pays $ 30 for all you can eat, you won’t let them order by the piece and they can’t polish off the last of that third or fourth roll, charging them extra is just going to piss them off. Luckily for me, I ordered conservatively when I found out that I couldn’t order anything less than a whole roll but it is an annoying rule and just comes across as unprofessional. That’s really the only gripe but it is significant.

My family has been going here for around 10 years and it has continued to be our go-to sushi!

The 2 star review is for the customer service directly related to the owner. I had been a frequent customer of this restaurant for 3 years but unfortunately my last few experiences with the owner were bad enough that I won’t be coming back. The waitstaff is friendly as are the sushi chefs. If the owner wants to help her business instead of brining in a guitar player on Friday nights she should stay home and let her friendly, competent staff run the business! She has tried to make us pay for sushi rolls that were incorrect, She has been rude to our entire party, I don’t know why she has become such a rude bitter person but I won’t be back until I hear that she is no longer managing the restaurant herself!

The special attention of service you get from the owner is great. The sushi rolls are always tasty and fresh. They have a Seahawks roll that is my favorite! The menu has color photos which makes it easy to pick what you want.

If you are craving sushi this is seriously the place to go. It is so good. I would say the price is about average compared to other sushi places. well worth it as the sushi is fresh. Scallops seem to be boiled for a couple seconds as they are not as moist as they should be but still very good

Excellent excellent sushi. Wide variety and the freshest i have had in seattle. The only thing i would hope for more of is friendlier service. I have never felt a real connection with any of the servers there and the pricing seems a bit steep. At least they could have more specials. Aside from the sushi, everything else is above average but not out of this world. The lighting is a bit dark in my opinion. Maybe i am being too picky. The quality of sushi is way worth the visit and that alone tempts me into giving this 5 stars. But i hold true to my «must have great service» to earn 5 stars motto. Try the play girl role. Its unique and the sauce is out of this world!

This is your neighborhood Japanese-Korean(mostly Japanese plus some Korean dishes) restaurant good for take out or dining in. There’s a lot to choose from(bento boxes, sushi, rolls, etc) but the hidden gem in my opinion is their tempura udon. Scalding hot, mildly yet elegantly seasoned broth plus a huge plate of tempura(2 shrimp, 1 green bean, 1 kabocha, 1 sweet potato, 1 mushroom… maybe something else) that is lightly fried. Hits the spot every time. There are a few pieces of vegetables floating around in the bowl of udon – I wish Asian noodle soups didn’t have raw slices of carrot though. Clean, friendly, fast service. I’m a fan!

It is really really unfortunate that I have to give this place 3 star instead of the full 5 because I absolutely love this place and have been coming for years! The first time I came I was really impressed w/how good it was and how close it was to home. Next time I came I decided to bring my entire family. We ended up spending over $ 100 worth of sushi and finished our meals super satisfied… until the end. As we paid for our meal and left a VERYGENEROUS tip, we walked out thanking the owner for our much appreciated meal & experience. Caught completely off guard, the owner comes following after us asking«where’s my tip, where’s my tip?» She must not have saw it on the table and we were so taken aback. Excuse me, what kind of service asks for a tip?! Nothing turns me off more than a server ASKING to be tipped for something they’re paid to do. We told her it was on the table and she turns and goes«oh. Sorry have a nice day». RUDE B. That def gave my entire family a reason not to come back. But here I am 5 years later writing a review about how good this place still is. All in all, I’ve never had a bad food experience but luckily for the owner, the food is good enough to compensate for her rude behavior. So be wary! If you can get passed the socially unaware rude owner for some good ass sushi, def stop by for happy hour!

Decent quality fish! It’s not the best I’ve ever had but I will definitely come back again when I get a craving for sushi! The bento box is gigantic too, ~$ 17 for teriyaki beef, 6 pieces of california roll, tempura, 3 pieces of nigiri. My bf and I should have just shared that but my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I also ordered 2 rolls(Rainbow and Playboy). So much food, but so good.

I think this place is slightly over rated. The whole experience was odd. The décor was that of a place put together from a 2nd hand restaurant supply store. Was seated right away and ordered several sushi rolls. Can’t remember them all, the usual standards. It was decent, slightly better then a conveyor no where near top grade. The service is a mess. They have a weird ordering system. They seat you with a giant sheet and check off what and how many you want. That wasn’t explained at all so we looked like idiots when she came to take it, at least that’s how she looked at us. After that it was a rare appearance to see her. Too many other places around rated way higher to come back.
