Came here to get a sandwich for lunch. Had to wait a lot tile to order because there was only one person working here. A person in line behind me left because it was taken to long for them to get their turn to order. This Subway need more people making the sandwiches. Perhaps two people making the sandwiches instead of one person.

Very bad attitude of staff. Instead of service and guiding, I found staff laughing on customers. Will never be here.

Worst Subway ever! So came here for lunch today since I wanted their Broccoli and Cheddar soup. $ 2.50 for a cup of soup which is ok. Soup is always hot and I like it. However I was not given crackers with my soup so I ask the lady if I can have some. She said let her check cause usually they don’t give it out. WHAT? ok whatever she opens up the cabinet and theres a whole box of Keebler saltine crackers. She gives me one pack. I ask her if I can have another since all other locations usually give you two packs. She said no we cannot and usually don’t give out. I am like really? You gotta be kidding me. Everyone knows soup is usually paired with crackers or bread atleast. Every other location I been to has give me crackers. I defin would NOT return to this location. STINGY with a capital S ! Yes I love my crackers with some soup.

Quick friendly service and it beats anything else there is to eat in the mall. :)

Subway has done a good job of creating a brand where they stand for healthy food. So I am hanging out in the mall and decided to get Subway since I was looking for something healthy. They were out of my favorite meatball which sucked. I ended up getting the sweet chicken teriyaki on a flat bread which was OK. Also realized that what I had gotten was probably not as healthy as I had original wanted. Oh well! Looks like the mall location does not carry the regular special that others Subways do. Still a decent option for the food court.

A week or so ago, there was a bird loose in the food court. I was about to get a sandwich from here when I saw the bird fly behind the counter into the kitchen area and hang out over the exposed food. I immediately told a clerk that there was a bird flying around back there to which he replied, «Yeah, we know about it.» He did nothing to «shoo» away the bird. I guess they didn’t care that it could potentially take a dump into the food and get people sick. I promptly left.

Since the last few reviews for this place have been around 2 years ago, time for a bit of an update on this Subway. Even though the other reviews have had problems with their customer service, I have never had a problem with it. Even on Black Friday, they were still happy enough to serve me with at least a smile. I’ve never had a problem with their sandwiches either. Tastes like typical Subway to me, which is enough for a 3-star, but since it goes beyond the low mall food expectations, it gets bumped up to a 4 star. They also do participate in the promo’s. They have $ 5 footlongs :)

In spite of the fact that I know the owners I cannot give this place a positive review. Yeah, they’re healthy, yea they have a SIMILAR menu to that of other franchises… but that’s where the positives stop. 1) customer service is very poor 2) I know ALL Subways are pretty stingy with the portions of meat… but what they gave me was ridiculous. I tasted the mayo and veggies before I taste the meat 3) They don’t participate in promos such as $ 5 footlongs 4) You have to tell them twice you want it toasted otherwise they’ll automatically assume you DON’T want it toasted.

This is probably the healthiest choice you have eating at Newpark Mall’s food court, but it does come at a price. If you can bypass all the nice people offering samples of different ethnic foods, you’ll land somewhere between the busy workers at Burger King and the grumpy people at this Subway. It doesn’t matter what I’ve purchased from this Subway… whether it be one footlong or six for my co-workers… the workers seem to hate the people they serve. They never smile, they never say thank you, and of course that magnifies their mistakes because of the shotty service. Bottom line? The food quality is good, the service quality is mediocre at best.
