Saturday night 7:30 where is the hostess? People are here waiting. It’s one thing to wait on a table but to wait on a hostess to wait on a table. None of the servers acknowledged everyone waiting nor say we’ll have someone help you in a minute. Decided to eat somewhere else. Ridiculous.

Just finished eating at Johnny Carinos a few minutes ago. Here are the bullet points to simplify everything. *Hostess was not at the front, and there were hardly any people at this location. *+(Positive); the table was clean & the lady that helped me was very kind. *House Salad was a disappointment… hardly ate any of it. *I had the Skilletini… the only positive thing I can say about the dish is that the sausage was delicious, other than that… the spaghetti was too oily to my liking and it tasted a little bland. Overall it was an OK dish. Would I recommend anyone to go here? Idk, I haven’t tried any of the other dishes, and everyone deserves a second chance. The servers are kind + cleanliness alone are the reasons why I gave it 2 stars.

Ordered pronto lunch to-go. Baked potato soup and lunch chicken gorgonzola. Didn’t get a spoon for the soup nor the olive/herb dipping oil for the not too fresh bread. The soup is very rich, with green onions and two croutons. Maybe it had cheese, but it must have melted on the way back to work. The chicken gorgonzola is soooo good. I do add the dried garlic and red pepper flakes to it first. Be warned, heartburn city if you are prone to it.

Pleasant atmosphere, okay service. I added grilled chicken to my meal and expected a piece of grilled chicken sliced into fajita-sized chunks. Instead I received shaved chicken slices — damn near deli meat — that didn’t taste good. It wasn’t just that it was under-seasoned, it flat out wasn’t good. They skimped on the tomato sauce and it didn’t stick to the pasta at all. Even the herbs for the dipping sauce was lacking. I honestly would not come back here even if I had a gift card.

My wife and I ate at Johnny Carinos and were very disappointed. I had the Skilletini with shrimp. The tomato sauce did not stick well to the pasta and was runny and bland. My wife had the chicken fettuccine alfredo, which was also bland — -hardly any flavorings at all. Carinos give you a choice of soup or salad with your meal. They have three soups to choose from and I tried two: 1) the minestrone was horrible; the vegetables were all way overcooked and mushy; the stock was not flavored well at all. 2) I also tried the chili soup; it had a stock that resembled thin tomato paste and was just plain nasty. My wife had the house salad with her meal and it was ok. The complementary bread they gave us was also good. We strongly disagree with the posts saying Carinos is better than Olive Garden.

I did not have a good experience at this location. The service was slow and the food was not impressive. The drinks were pricey and didn’t taste well either. I would not go back when there are so many other great restaurants around in the same area.

We totally love the SKILLETINI. It’s even better the next day when I take most of it home because I filled up on garlic and bread and salad!

The last time I was here, we were seated and had no one acknowledge our existence for 10 minutes. I had to tell the host and he quickly got the waiter and got our bread and olive oil dip. That was appreciated. And the food is pretty great. It’s even better when you can use your extreme-couponing talent to get a meal for 2 that lasts 3 nights for just $ 10.82. ;) UPDATE: The caprese chicken dish is amazing. So are the Italian nachos(I never imagined having alfredo sauce on nachos, but it was super delicious).

Service is very prompt. Was greeted immediately and seated. Start off with olive oil drip for your bread. Had chicken pasta it was fair and little cold.

I bumped it down another star bc I saw how many people said service was slow and it wasn’t even that busy! First impression: No one at the front. If you see someone at least acknowledge them and tell them you will be right there. We got bread from someone else not our waiter. Still waiting on olive oil with garlic… Tick tock! We still haven’t got our salad either. They are short staff so it naturally sucks but you gotta make up for it with great service! The bathroom had toilet paper and paper towels everywhere! Wth? And the men’s bathroom from what my husband said it was very dark to see anything. The food was good but besides that… Come when they are fully staffed.

Not good. Waited to be seated for about 10 min even though it was not busy at all. I understand why they were not busy now that I have been there. Spaghetti sauce was no better than ketchup. No real flavor. Service was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW!!! Although the ford did come out eventually… It was hot(which is the only reason that I would even give them 1 star). I am sure that I will not be returning.

Bland bland bland… The most flavorful part of our meal was the marinara for our calamari. Ordered the spicy chicken Romano, which was really plain bow tie pasta with huge chunks of sun dried tomatoes and a little olive oil(all at the bottom of the plate). The only way we could tell it apart from the bow tie festival was the few tiny red specs indicating cayenne pepper. The second pasta was more flavorful than the dish that was supposed to be spicy, and that only came from the bacon! Come on Carino’s…surely your spice cabinet isn’t empty! On the bright side, the salads were tasty. Way to promote healthy eating, now do it so I don’t feel like I wasted $ 15 per plate.

Food was okay. Management was bad and it reflected in the attitude of the usher as well as the server. Not going back to this location again

Had lunch at Carino’s with my wife. We decided to do the unlimited soup and salad deal they have for $ 6.99. All you can eat bread, soup and salad for a great price! We love the bread loafs here, they are always hot and fresh when we receive them and the olive oil dip compliments the bread well. You can choose between a house salad or a caesar. I’m always a house salad kind of guy, but I decided to get a caesar. It was good. The soup choices are minestrone, italian chili or garlic potato. I’ve had the minestrone here before and didn’t really care for it. I got a garlic potato soup and my wife got the Italian chili. My wife thought the Italian chili was ok, I tasted it and didn’t really care for the flavor, or lack there of. My garlic potato soup came out hot, it had a few chunks of potatoes in a creamy soup and garnished with a little cheese and bacon bits. It had a great garlic flavor to it. Just what you would expect from a garlic potato soup, not overpowering but just enough flavor to be satisfying. It was definitely good enough for me to get a second bowl. My wife also decided to get a bowl of it. Our server was very attentive to us during our visit and made sure our drinks stayed full and we didn’t need anything. It was an overall great lunch.

The only reason why I’m giving this 3 stars is due to our waitress. She was excellent. My meal($ 19.99) was the ribeye. In no way, shape, or form was this a «Nolan Ryan» steak. It was fatty, disgusting, and a huge disappointment to all people who attempt to find an alternative from pasta. My family love the spicy shrimp and chicken, so their meal was great from what they said.

I ordered two kids meals and an adult entrée, but when I got home I ended up with three kids meals and no soup. When I called to have it corrected, the manager, Stephen, went above and beyond. I didn’t want to drive back so he mailed me $ 20 in gift cards. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen, thank you for making up for the mistake. Will definitely be back.

We waited about 5 – 10 minutes at the foyer before we saw anyone that worked there acknowledge us. Made eye contact with a waiter in the back and suddenly a hostess swoops in behind the counter. Speaks to us shortly, because I’m interrupting her Facebook time. The entire service was under staffed and slow. The food was fine, but the place seems poorly managed.

I’m not rating the good quality of the food, it’s great as always. The services is horrible! miss communication wrong orders and we got our coffee in a water glass, when I asked to get it in a coffee cup, the answer was we don’t have more!!! We pay and left, as we where near the parking lot the one lady who helped the server with out table(maybe mgr) came all the way out asking for $ 0.85 That we where short! We had left $ 18.00 tip on the table. Then she ask oh do you guys want me to grab it from the table? What a shame! Some people have no clue how to deal w business.

Overall I have a mixed review with Johnny Carino’s …I have been to several locations and they all are pretty much a 3.5 star restaurant experience which is pretty much what I would expect with a chain restaurant… Their Pasta Points program brings them up a notch since they have pretty good and generous points system with one free appetizer per month… They also have great happy hour specials with half price wine and specialty drinks therefore I give them 4 stars… On another note I would give their catering service 5 stars… I had a recent wedding reception and looked tirelessly for the perfect cater and Johnny Carino’s came through… The prices were just right and they made set up and clean up very easy… We served both hot and cold food… They came in and set up everything including table clothes and hot buffet trays then returned at the end of the event to pick up their equipment. They provided several take out containers to allow us to pack all the leftover food. The included complementary bread and olive oil… The price was much more competitive than other places… We received great complement s from many of our guest about the quality of the food… Next time I need to entertain a large event I will check them out… Ciao
