KFC

This location is hit or miss (usually a MISS for me) lol I have never gotten more than a two star experience here. The food is either old or they are asking me to pull around and wait for my order at which point when they do bring it and the items you ordered or condiments you requested are still missing. I’d love for this location to get it together :-/

Came here for the first time not too long ago… who the hell runs out of chicken when your main item is chicken… terrible.

My chicken strips looked and tasted like they were a few days old. My macaroni and cheese had a long blonde hair in it. Luckily, I couldn’t eat my meal because my boyfriend has an upset stomach from his meal.

Worse customer service ever, I won’t be here again
Please train staff to at lease smile

My mashed potatoes and gravy was basically a cut of gravy and a spoonful of mash. Avoid this place. The chicken was hours old and not fresh at all

To a friendly and accommodating staff that help out at the window when I had a change of heart with my order. There were about 2 or 3 behind me. Without hesitation or anxiety I was helped with exactly what I wanted with quick decision making by the staff. I thought it is worth mentioning bc it was greatly appreciated and that crew should be recognized. Great work guys!

Fast service in the drive thru but this location always gives super tiny pieces of chicken. I’m not sure why but I eat at other KFC locations and they have full sized pieces of meat. I rarely eat here and I have zero plans to return. I try to support businesses in my neighborhood but many of them are going downhill. Sorry Natomas.

I’m not a Unilocal commenter but I think people should know how horrible this place is! Every single time I come here, whether it’s drive thru or dine in, the service is super slow! Not to mention, majority of the people who work there know NOTHING about quality customer service. Just the other night I was at the drive thru, only 2 cars ahead of me but still took over 15 min to get my food, I observed a gal across that was working at the Panda Express drive thru providing really good customer service, by smiling, greeting and just plain being nice. When i finally got to the window, I was approached by a girl who did NOT only greet me, she also did NOT smile nor did she say thank you or even apologized for the long wait — - I did all that for her. I’m not surprised why they have had a «now hiring on the spot» sign for months now. The only reason why I go to this location bc it’s close to my house but after numerous bad experiences, I’d rather drive 4 miles down over the freeway and go to the KFC on Northgate Boulevard where I’m sure the service is better than this one!

I know, two reviews in a row on chicken. The KFCs in Davis and Elk Grove are so much better, orders are always correct and prompt. Drive thru here took my payment and gave me the box with the food, but totally forgot my medium A&W root beer drink and let me drive off without realizing it! Next time I want fried chicken I’ll just go to Chicken ‘n Waffles right next door! End rant.
The $ 5 fill up 2 piece box with biscuit, mashed potatoes, drink and a cookie is pretty good. The 3 piece big box has a biscuit, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and drink for $ 9 I believe. Of course, can choose from original, crispy or grilled and various sides. I miss the cornbread option. Why am I wasting my words waxing poetic about fast food? Onward to the good stuff.

This is the last time I’ll be going to this KFC. There was one car ahead of me at the drive thru but they took about five mins to get to me. Then, they took another five mins just to hand me my order at the drive thru window. It ended up being the wrong order. The girl at the drive thru window tells me it’s the right order and I told her I checked and it’s not. She goes and gets me the right order with an attitude. I checked again and see four pieces of potato wedges. I’m too frustrated to argue with her so I left but worse KFC experience ever. I would give no stars if I could.

Came here on my way to take my mother to the airport. I gave the place three stars because the trash was overflowing the table I sat in was next to the window and it had greasy little kids handprints all over. BUT Amanda took my order and she was very professional and sweet at the same time I saw her taking orders and cleaning in between customers. We ordered at then end some apple pies and she brought them out to our table with a very pleasant smile. So for the staff five stars.

Bleh. Tried their chicken sandwich and it tasted like cardboard. The sauce they put in it was a mix between ranch and mustard? Ya, I don’t know either. Employees seemed friendly, but never coming back.

I havent had kfc since i have moved up north, drove 45 minutes to get some chicken for the family and it was the worst customer service i have ever received. I hope that the chicken is good atleast… not a happy customer

I wish I could give negative stars. I pulled up to the drive thru line there were at least four cars in line one of which was in an awkward place so I waited until the menu/​speaker box was visible/​audible well apparently that annoyed the tag team crew who took my order who were very short and rude. I get to the window to a young boy with an attitude who hand me three drinks with no drink carrier. I politely asked for a carrier well that must have pissed him off because he didn’t even ask me if I wanted any sauce and when I explained my order was wrong he huffed and walked away to correct it and brought the food back with an even bigger attitude. I asked for his manager who says I will talk to him blah blah. You clearly condone horrible customer service based on the scores. Never coming to this location ever again.

KFC policy is to not give sauce to a customer unless they ask for it. Their $ 5 fill up 3 piece tenders on their menu says «with new FLG sauce» and pictures it twice including one with the tender being dipped in it. Their menu certainly gives the impression that the sauce comes with the $ 5 fill up and nowhere does it say you have to request the sauce. That’s like showing a picture of a value meal with a coke in the picture and then not giving their customers the coke and say «Soda is included only by request only. Some people don’t want any soda.» KFC needs to either rethink their policy about dipping sauces or clearly mark their menu on the wall to say that dipping sauces are only given out by request only. Even when I asked the counter person about this ypu could tell this is a touchy subject and I certainly am not the first person to bring this up. It looked like they were getting it both ways… yelled at by management to not give out sauce and yelled at by customers who were mad they didn’t get any sauce.

I love my fried chicken! KFC is pretty much the main attraction when it comes to fried chicken! The main competitors are wingstop and Popeyes… Both I have tried and KFC is still the best! Don’t get me Wrong, I still enjoy Popeyes and wingstop but KFC still gets my vote!
I really like the flavor and the texture of the skin on the chicken! My absolute favorite is the hot wings… Party sized wings with great flavor and slightly spicy… With great crispy skin…
The potato wedges are great and the box of wedges is the perfect size to share with friends or even by yourself because that means… LEFTOVERS!
We also love to get the mashed potatoes and gravy… Can’t go wrong… However, it’s not the best mashed but it’s decent and goes great with chicken!
Usually i always go through drive through because I like to eat the food at home and watch the game or a good movie!
The only reason I mark one star off is because sometimes the chicken will be over cooked, wedges may be only room temperature, or the drive through may have left something out… All has happened to me but it can’t be perfect all the time!
But overall, it’s a great way to feed your friends for super bowl… NBA playoffs…

So I don’t know what was going on at KFC last night but they were on point!!!
I used to manage fast food joints in college so I’m extremely picky when it comes to good service!!! My husband had a craving for chicken pot pie late last night so we decided to go to KFC.
The $ 5 dollar meals are a great deal. My chicken tenders came with a side of mashed potatoes and cookies, and a drink. My husbands pot pie meal came with just a cookie and a drink.
But the best part was the guys working back there! They took our order and it was out before they even finished running our card. The guy was over zealous and trying to get us through the drive thru super fast. Calm down dude just wanted to check for sauce lol
So we were worried they missed something or the food was gonna be messy or old. Nope!!! Piping hot food all the way through the meal. Everything was neat and they had napkins, sporks, and condiments! Trust me we were looking for errors haha
Keep up the good work. Chicken tenders were so good. We will be back more often with service like this!

OMG! Blown away! Went through the drive through and ordered two $ 5 meals, the pot pie and Chicken Tenders. Well, by the time we got to the window, our food was ready and in the car quicker than they could swipe my credit card! No only was it fast, it was perfect. Hot, fresh, all the condiments, napkins, sporks, all in the bag and perfect. The food was hot all the way through to the last bite! Unfreakinbelievable!!! Not usually impressed by fast food but this was Unilocal worthy!

I went through the KFC drive thru tonight. The menu board was difficult to read; the font size is small, the board is set a distance back from the curb, the menu board coating was dirty, and there were several lawn posters blocking the view of the menu board. And no… it’s not my eye sight failing me. Hmmm. They sure don’t make it easy to order.
But the original recipe chicken and mashed potatoes were good. However, the Mac n cheese was a huge disappointment; dried out with pasty clumpy texture with no taste.

The drive thru gets 2 stars because the person taking your order can never get it right and you have to drive around, go into the restaurant, and get it right. Plus, the person taking the order always seems to be rushing you while you order. After I order one thing it’s like they are ready to send me on my way and give me my total. Then I have to yell at them because they can’t hear what I said or they just don’t understand. They either need to train these people better and/​or get better speaker systems. It’s a consistent problem.
The food and deals on the other hand, pretty good. Not great of course since the chicken is pretty oil of you order the non grilled chicken. It’s still pretty tau though. We love that you can order double mash even if you have a coupon. We really like the corn on the cob too. It has the right amount of butter and slur and whatever other spices they put on it. It gets addicting. You definitely can’t eat just one unless you’re THAT full. The deals are an added bonus especially for my growing boys that are basically eating me out of house and home. The one that comes with a drink and/​or dessert is always a good choice. It has the right amount of pieces, sides and a dessert.
Speaking of dessert, their chocolate cake is good but my all time favorite are the apple pies. These press are small but man they are like little fried pillows of ecstasy. I’m hooked at that first bite. These are like the ones McD used to sell before they went to the baked kind. I’m all for healthy but my dessert are usually the sinful ones and I’m okay with that, Thank you very much.
The customer service in the inside is good. They Grey me with a smiling face and it doesn’t look fake. You know how you can tell a fake smile. They talk to me and ask me about my day and are patient with me if I’m unsure what to order. It is 2 fat food places in one after all. It does get overwhelming especially if you’re hungry.
We still go here from time to time but try to stay away from the drive thru if we can.
