Friendly and great food. We go there every time we r in town. The crab rangoons are the best I’ve ever had and the phở is to die for. Staff is always friendly and service is quick.

This place has always been great. From service, atmosphere and food. Everything comes with an option to be mild, medium or spicy which is great. Everything we have ordered has been flavorful and the serving sizes are good. Definitely a go to for good food.

Seriously the best! We have been to 4 other Phở restaurants and this is by far the best one!

Love, love this place. Great food, great service. Unexpected ambiance from a little out of the way place.

So far, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever, EVER been to. Best summer rolls, best phở(although they could try adding some fatty brisket to the meat choices in the phở) and best customer service by far! Only issues: they don’t deliver(yes I’m that lazy) and the music is so awful! LOVE this place

All i wanted to do was place a to go order and be on my merrily way. I ordered my food and even left the guy a tip. In return he makes a rude comment, who I believe is the owner, about my financial status. For one, you do not know anything about me and second off, my personal life is none of your concern. All i wanted was to place a to go order. I’ve been a customer with y’all for quite some time and it’s disappointing, especially the owner, would make such a rude comment. Will definitely not return

I stopped by here since it was on the way back home with my brother. The waitress was doing something on the phone and didn’t even realize we walked in. The owner had his back toward us while doing sth. We waited couple minutes at the entrance before deciding to choose whatever table ourselves to sit down. As we sat down, she came with the menu(probably recognize us by the sound of chair pulling). What is this??? We tried Phở and bun no Hue. Phở was ok, but nothing was outstanding. Bun bo Hue was a failure for me. The noodle was the same as Phở’s noodle, which should not be the case. It totally lacks the smell of fermented shrimp paste. They served bun bo Hue with Thai basil, not even purple cabbage shred! If you want an Americanized version of Phở and bun bo Hue, here is the place to go. If you want an authentic taste of these dishes, don’t go here!

Wooooweeee be careful with that chili oil/hot oil! The apps were delicious and the steak phở was amazing. The meat wasn’t the best best best… but pretty damn close! It’s one of our top phở places in SA.

Went here tonight in search of phở despite the mixed reviews I decided to give it a try because it is so close to our house. Other reviews have mentioned the broth was oily and I found it to be as well. Oily and salty and my meat had several really fatty chunks. The portion was big, the place was clean, but the phở was not great. Phở An on Bandera is way better and worth the extra $ 2 and extra 5 – 7 mins in the car. I also didn’t like that my green tea was from a bag and not loose leaf tea. I probably won’t be back.

The restaurant is conveniently located, although parking could be an issue depending on the time you arrive. Inside, there are several flat screens and the tables are made of a beautiful material that looks similar to marble or granite. Just sit down anywhere and someone will come to you for service. If you order a beer, they serve a chilled glass with it, which is a nice touch but a bit unnecessary in my view. I ordered a Dos and some rangoons to start as well as the P1(a type of phở with sirloin and sliced meatballs). The food was prepared relatively fast and I had my meal in front of me within 15 minutes of ordering on a Friday night. The rangoons definitely left something to be desired; it was mostly fried wonton with a miniscule amount of filling. However, the sweet and sour that was served with it was probably the best I’ve ever had. As for the phở, it was mediocre. I’ve only had phở on one other occasion, so by no means am I a connoisseur, but nothing about the dish really stood out. The noodles were impossibly stuck together at the bottom of the broth, the meatballs had a rubbery texture, and there was less than a handful of sirloin strips in the dish. Bottom line: try another place for phở if you can. The place was nice, but the quality of the food doesn’t really match up to the price, which says more about the quality of the food than the price.

First time ordering take out and orded a bánh mi’ sandwich and for the cost i don’t think it’s worth it. Plus they charged me 1 $ for a very small container of fish sauce. Next time I’ll just make it myself at home and save the 10 $.

Good phở, but don’t come if you’re limited on time like I did for my lunch break. Not sure what takes so darn long, but at least the food is good. I’ll be ordering ahead of time for pick up next time.

Today was a cold day in San Antonio and my first thought, was SOUP! Wife recommended a place that was a drive away but convinced her to try this place. To our surprise, the place turned out to be really good. Service was nice and the people that worked spoke good English… which sometimes is the result of your food coming out incorrectly… But rest assured they will get it right. The broth was super good and was an unexpected large size for the price. Definitely a new favorite for Phở!

This place used to be next to a gas station on the corner of Braun and Bandera. Now they have relocated off of Braun and 1604. We love their Phở dishes. The staff is super friendly and the place is always clean. We came for linch on Mother’s Day and were seated quickly. We ordered the Viatnamese eggrolls, spicy beef Phở and some baroque pork vermicelli noodle. Yummy!

Phở time! I know as it gets hotter in San Antonio, hot Vietnamese soup may not be on your mind, but sometimes you need Asian comfort food! The Phở here is served in enormous bowls. Tons of meat and seafood options to choose from — thin beef, tripe, seafood etc. Add a sweet sauce or sriracha to spice it up. Anyone can make Phở but what sets everyone apart is the broth. It’s pretty good here, but not life changing. A bit too oily but still has flavor. Head to Houston for some legit Phở broth. Egg roll and summer roll appetizer is good. Summer roll had shrimp and beef combo. Nice texture in the wrap… didn’t taste old and tough. Best Vietnamese rolls… Brodard’s in Southern California still dominates. The vermicelli was good. Nicely sized portion and worth the try. Ratio of noodles to meat was a bit much but had a boost of flavor and texture. They also offer tapioca drinks, boba and smoothies to cool off during those hot summer days. I say, stop by the Asian massage studio next door then cruise over for some vermicelli and boba!

I really wanted to like this place since it’s the closest phở shop to where I live but I’m sorry… this place sucks! Don’t even waste your time. Just like some of the other reviews, I had two pieces of shrimp and 2 – 3 tiny pieces of pork in my soup. Their summer rolls taste like crap too!
