Finding this little diner was a fluke. Camping in the area we normally cook on board our coach, however in savannah you must eat seafood. This was not on any Unilocal list but it satisfied our shrimp craving. Perhaps once we get into savannah proper we will find a more gourmet seafood restaurant but in the meantime we enjoyed the tail-on fried shrimp.

Good food and lots of it, mostly fried. Service was very good. Food tasted pretty well. A nice place to just stop, eat and relax.

The food is simply horrid… Brunswick stew was something inedible; there was no meat in it, heck, I could not even find a piece of corn, just some gooey substance with fragments of something unknown in it… My husband and I both ordered fried flounder and my piece was very good, but his was paper-thin and had more holes in it than flesh. He asked for another piece and the second had a very fishy taste, like it was very, very old. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is that shrimp were good and fresh. Coleslaw was horrible also. My hubby said it used to be very good place to go to, what happened? The service sucked too. And they don’t serve alcohol…

Had the Barbeque sandwich with Brunswick stew and it was very good. Waited was attentive and nice. I will definitely come back, this was my first time here.

Been eating here for 50 years. Fried oysters and their own tartar sauce cannot be beat anywhere! Their Onion rings and club sandwich are also fabulous. BBQ is always lean and very good, as is their Brunswick stew. Only let downs(to me) are the fried shrimp and salads, neither of which are very exciting. But everything else is dependably good!

I found this restaurant listed under BBQ. While the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean, the food was not up to the level of other BBQ places in Savannah. We had the BBQ Special including pulled pork, Brunswick stew, cole slaw, green beans and their«famous» onion rings. Brunswick stew is unique to every place you go. Here it seemed that they use a lot of ketchup as the base. The pulled pork was good but it came with the house sauce already on. They don’t offer any alternative sauces. The cole slaw was good, but the green beans were bland, and straight from the can. The onion rings were good and a must if you visit.
