Best place I’ve eaten at in Savannah(comparing Alligator/Pink…) favorites were pork belly & scallops, steak tartar, foisgra bread pudding. Beautiful bar on the roof, no smoking. They don’t do a classic whisky sour.

Exceptionally delicious dinner. My husband had the short ribs and I had the mussels. Everything was excellent.

Just had an amazing experience! Enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings. Things I would not have ordered off menu– such as liver pâté or duck tar tar — were done perfectly and delicious. The staff and service were also excellent! Thanks for making my birthday in Savannah memorable. Thanks to the chef for taking the time to meet us! Excellent experience!

We chose this restaurant because after a long day of driving we wanted to be able to walk from the Gastonian. What a delicious surprise– completely exceeded our expectations! I started with a cocktail called the Last Word which was different and refreshing. Our waitress was lovely and soft spoken and recommended several things which we did try and were very happy with. I had the scallops and pork belly and my husband had the Korean BBQ ribs. Both were so flavorful. Our waitress selected the perfect wines to complement our food. We were not going to have dessert but couldn’t pass on the Winter White. I’m not exactly sure what is was but had marscapone and sorbet, merengue, minted sugar and pomegranate seeds. Melted in the mouth! It was a wonderful evening. Excellent service and every bite delicious.

We dined here shortly after I proposed this past weekend. The upstairs outdoor bar area is perfect to enjoy a drink & they have heat lamps if it’s chilly. The hostess was more than awesome and after asking us if we were celebrating anything seated us in our own private dining area. Service was excellent food was amazing! I Recommend the Cheese sampler app & the Korean BBQ ribs

Ate here last night with a group and the food and appetizers were really good. I enjoyed the beef filet with the veggies, but the scoop of strawberry and the scoop of grapefruit sorbet was vertically awesome. I gave four stars because of fact that the server set my water glass down and left three finger prints on the rim and then topped off my sparkling water with regular water, funny stuff…

Korean ribs entrée was super salty & fatty. Endive & radicchio salad lacked flavor. Cocktails were good. Staff friendly.

We decided to do the chefs 6 course tasting and also 2 apps. I know that sounds like a lot… and it was, but well worth every gluttonous bite! Starting with bread and an amuse bouche while we looked over our menus. The waitress was never over intrusive while being ever close for any need. The courses came at a perfect pace for us. Before the courses began we ordered the steak tartare, and oysters bienville. The oysters were very tasty, as was the tartare, however the steak could have used a pinch of salt. We then had bass sushi with mint rice. the bass was very good, the Mirin sauce perfect, the mint rice eh. a bit undercooked and the mint took over the dish… Next was duck tartare over a hash, super yummy. Then a mini lasagna course… tasty, but spicy… so spicy I couldn’t maage more than 2 tiny bites. After that was a quail course, fantastic, great crispy skin! Next was the meat course, bison short rib! So tender and packed full of flavor. Finally we finished with a delicious panna cotta. It was superb. Perfect ending. This was all in all an awesome meal. We will definitely come back for next seasons menu!

Local 11 ten was very delicious, the service was great, but the atmosphere was dreary. The lighting was too dark which could be appropriate if they were playing romantic music but they were not. Additionally, the music was loud and it was difficult to hear my girlfriend who was 3ft away. The food was delicious, I think it may be a bit on the pricy side given the lack of uniqueness. There was not much to set it(main course) aside from other 4 star restaurants that would make the food unique. However, the pâté(starter) was very worth it. That is one item on their menu that is very unique to the restaurant and they could charge more for. Overall the food was delicious but still not much to set it apart. The drinks were over poured. At $ 10 a drink I expected much more. Aside from those few issue everything else was great! I would recommend local 11 ten to anyone who is looking for a modern dining experience and is willing to splurge a bit.

Really. Everything was good! The cauliflower soup was divine, rich and light. The grouper on grits was good. The faro risotto was wonderful. And yes, the olive cake!

I came in just for some drinks to their rooftop bar called the Perch. Every drink on the menu looked good and they have the drinks divided by the type of alcohol on the menu. If you like vodka and grapefruit, I would definitely recommend the«Crowd Pleaser»($ 9). It’s refreshing but is not too strong. If you like whiskey, try the«Blood Orange Old Fashion.»($ 12) It’s good but taste really strong. The ambiance is romantic, perfect place for a date night. It’s a little expensive but is worth it.

Have you ever gone to dinner at a nice place only to have a server who is clearly not interested in serving you, let alone being at work? Unfortunately, this was our experience at Local 11 Ten recently. Our server’s first thing out of his mouth was«What can I get you?» No attempt to greet us, offer to explain the menu, identify the fish of the day or any other specials. He was only interested in taking our order and getting us in and out of there as quickly as possible. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it never got better and I had to keep asking for things I expected him to do automatically at this caliber of a dining establishment. As for the food, my wife had swordfish special, which was fine, but nothing special. I had the curry chowder, which was lacking any sense of curry, or any taste for that matter. We both had caesar salads and someone was trying to overdo the flavor. As for the décor, again… nothing special. We had high hopes for this place, especially with the good Unilocal reviews and reference in the New York Times«36 Hours in Savannah» article, but it didn’t live up to the hype for us. Maybe a better server might have made a difference, but the boring food was still… boring. The rooftop bar was nice, but the drinks are very expensive… maybe too expensive. So sip slowly.

Based upon reviews, I dined here while conducting my own food tour of Savannah. an excellent experience was had at Local 11 Ten. super super cool interior, and really classy service from entire staff, including Jordan my server. That guy is good! My highlights included the beautiful and fresh oysters, with a bacon/cornmeal stuffing, and saffron hollandaise. Served in a cast iron skillet. Boom. The Duck dish was cooked perfectly, and I mean perfectly. Medium rare glory. With awesome crispy duck skin nuggets on the side, charred apples, and a spicy beet reduction for plate presentation. Excellent dish. The almighty wonderful touch? The manager stopping by to inquire about my dining experience. That effort itself, is what separates restaurants with class and genuine concern, from others which might fail to actually give a rats ass. Whatever the case, customer focus is huge. we got a winner.

I am not a religious person in any way, shape or form but the kitchen in this place has been graced by the hand of God, or they’re hoarding Angels in the pantry who sprinkle heaven on each plate that leaves. I’m not even exaggerating, I promise. We’ve moved to Savannah from all corners of the globe and eaten all over the world, all across America at the best places to go,(we’re not snobs by any means, we just like to eat) and this my friends, is one of our favourite places. We’ve been in town for a month and eaten here over 5 times already. Everything is good. Everything. From the chic décor, which pays tasteful homage to its humble beginnings as a bank, with its inviting bar and charming bartenders who whip up mouthwatering concoctions, to the food. Oh my stars, the food. We’ve eaten the old menu and the new menu and both are exquisite. Like I’d trade my first born child to eat there everyday. In fact I might see if they’re into that kinda thing. The desserts are amazing. The dessert cocktails are amazing. This place is amazing. Just go, and send your letters of praise and thanks to me after. You won’t be sorry.

Excellent food and very modern, stylish interiors. Came here for my birthday dinner with friends. The food was delicious! I had the rabbit ravioli, which was one of the best rabbit dishes I’ve had. The mac n cheese is very rich and decadent and yummy. We all had the blood orange Old Fashioned drink and it was good and unique. I thought there was not enough servers in the restaurant. Our waiter did the best he could, he had multiple tables to serve and even though we didn’t have dinner till 9pm, the restaurant was still very busy. It can be a bit hard to hear because it’s quite loud in there. There is a great big vault door on the way to the bathroom, which was very interesting to see. Would definitely return here the next time I’m in Savannah.

Local 11 Ten use to be one of my favorite places during my time in grad school in Savannah. It’s a restaurant that I loved going to for a little bit of modern civility in the historic district just around the park from my house. The first time 2 years ago, I had an amazing shrimp stew and their duck entrée which was equally stunning. However, the last two times the food(dry, overcooked, and bland) and service(obsequious or forgetful) has been subpar so when I went last week I was really hoping things improved. They didn’t. My food wasn’t at the standard I was use to expecting based off my first experience from the restaurant and the service was again nothing spectacular. In fact, I mentioned to the person I was eating with that I was underwhelmed 3 or 4 times during the course of the meal. The check was 123.05. I paid. I left 17 for a tip. Call it an «even number» habit. I made the bill 140.05. After sending it I realized how I may have not tipped enough and asked my guest should I have him bring it back to add more. He reassured me that it wasn’t a big deal and not to worry. So I didn’t. Keep reading… One week later, I get an anonymous message on an online dating/social app that reads(grammar and mispelling is not my own): «I’m telling all black and latin guys how tip. It’s 20% not 10% — 14%. If your check is 130 you leave 26. Not 17.» I called the restaurant immediately and called the operations manager leaving messages to inform them of what happened and that I reported them to the Better Business Bureau: Intimidation as a tactic for discrimination. I shook all morning and cried on the phone with the friend who ate with me and my best friend. I am so frustrated trying to convince people that this stuff happens in day to day life, and if not to you(a person of color) then someone you know. Local 11 Ten sorely disappointed me, though they have profusely apologized. Unfortunately, I don’t intend on being a patron of Local 11 Ten or the other Daniel Reed restaurants, Public and Soho South Café, any time soon. They assured me they would get to the bottom of who sent me the message and fire the employee, but I’ve yet to receive any correspondence after the first conversation despite my sending screenshots to the operations manager and an additional email notifying him my complaint was accepted by the Better Business Bureau and the restaurant is being looked into for a pattern of this type of behavior. Look elsewhere to spend your good money.

Fantatsic menu that is unique, priced right and DELISH! I had the fried chicken liver and onions appetizer and pan seared chicken with chicken sausage for dinner. Sat at the bar. They had a large group and a decent amount of tables. Busy enough for the bartender to not have time to chat. I’d definitely check it out again if in the area.

Are you visiting from out of town? Tired of walking? It’s hot out and all you need is a drink? FINDTHISPLACENOW. We didn’t have any food so this is a review for the roof. We were there during the day so it was not crowded at all. It was so cute and it was a different vibe than what we experienced though out the rest of Savannah. The Décor is very modern, sleek and there is music upstairs to accompany the fresh air! The drinks we had were fantastic! The Rosemary Lemon Martini is to DIEFOR!
