First time here and have been seated and waiting for 15 minutes without anyone even coming to take a drink order. The lady that finally came had not been busy and there were tons of workers just standing around talking and not doing anything.

Ok, so just got our appetizer. The fried pickles. Used to be a favorite of mine here but not when you pay $ 7.50 for 6 pickles. Good grief. And, the«fish» here is Pangasius. A fresh water catfish from Cambodia. Yum. Not. Sad to see a good place go downhill. Music from bar is blasting over into the dining area and you have to wear a coat. Come on guys. Get it together.

Love the food choices on the menu. The atmosphere is awesome, especially in the bar area because it’s reserved for 21& up. You can’t beat the two for one specials during happy hoot! Jonathans has some of the best servers in the Crossings so you can expect fast friendly service!

I’m having the worst experience ever at Jonathan’s Grill in Spring Hill. This bartender is the worst. Never coming back to this establishment.

Sitting outside the bar area is best. Less noise and not as chaotic. Servers were young and not experienced but food was hot and tasty. We enjoyed our dining experience.

Jonathan’s is a sports bar, and perhaps, they mistakenly didn’t name the restaurant quite right as a «Grille». It’s upscale(not totally sports themed), and it’s a very well designed place with an open floor plan yet separate rooms, and 2 patios on opposites sides of the place, one for smokers and the other for haters of. It’s what you want from a sports bar: — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – 1. TV’s up the ying-yang. From any angle, you can see every game. There’s about 1017TV’s — I counted’em. ;-) 2. Large menu with salads, burgers, pizzas, and all kinds of appetizers. 3. Beer. Lots of drafts and bottles. 2 for 1 during Sunday games. What I got: — — — — – 1. Boneless Buffalo Wings — tasty, but I the portion is way too small for the value.($ 5.99. 3.5 stars) 2. Chicken Tostada Salad — worthy. Nice portion, delicious chicken atop of a very good salad.($ 13.00, 4.0 stars) Overall: — — — - It’s worthy. Despite the low reviews, the service is very friendly by all and it’s, what I would call, a great sports bar.

Food is great. Service sucks. No one check on your food or your drinks. Sat for a while before they got our initial order.

I visited Jonathan’s for my first time and it was just okay. I wasn’t overly impressed nor feel a need to come back. There were several people waiting for a table but we sat in the bar area. There was a decent amount of televisions and the restaurant seemed clean but I was not overly impressed with the food. I got the buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer which was good and then ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap. The wrap was okay and I got chips but for $ 9.50 I was expecting actual slices of chicken breast and not diced up little pieces of chicken and mostly lettuce. The menu is a little pricey which I don’t feel the food is worth the price. Overall, no major complaints but I can’t say I would be back just based on the value for the food and the service was nothing over the top.

The food came out quickly but that was the best part about the entire experience. The French fries were so greasy, I didn’t even want to touch them, and the sandwich tasted like chemicals. Our barely-teenaged waitress was very unfriendly and seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. All the wait staff stood around in a clump with their arms crossed whenever they weren’t actively talking to a table. In fact, it seemed like no one ever had anything to do but stand around and talk. We only got checked on once, and then after she had dropped off our check and we had continued to sit to finish drinks, she came back to ask why we were waiting around… Terrible. Won’t go back.

I have eaten at Jonathans on several occasions. I have had their pizzas, fajitas and fish tacos. Each meal has been good. I would compare it to Applebee’s, but with slightly better food.

I actually would give 2.5 stars if I could. I’ve been to all of the Jonathan’s in town… even the original formerly in Hillsboro Village. Maybe this one is still trying to find its stride. I could surmise a myriad of reasons why this Jonathans is nothing more than average. The recipes seem to be followed well, as the different meals we’ve ordered all taste as what we’ve come to expect… but, sadly, the service is exceptionally inconsistent. We’ve been on the restaurant side 3 times, had 3 different servers and none of the visits was it crowded… Two of the three times, we’ve had to ask for more drinks… Tonight it took 28 minutes to get ten boneless wings and a cheeseburger… Maybe it’s a kitchen problem, but due to the lack of urgency/service in the front, I’m blaming them, not the back of the house… I hope it improves… I want to have a family friendly sports bar in spring hill… but I won’t drive out of my way for mediocre service. Where is the hook?

Brought the family to Jonathan’s for Father’s Day. Was not disappointed. Great service… great food… large variety. Courtney, our waitress, was awesome! Highly recommend trying them out.

I read the other reviews on this place and don’t consider them fair. Jonathans is a sports bar. Advertised as a sports bar. Designed like a sports bar. Run like a sports bar. And patronized by sports bar patrons. It’s probably not appropriate to go to a sports bar and rate it down because it’s not more like a restaurant. That being said, we went there to eat dinner. Not to drink or watch games. So my rating is based on what I experienced.(Yes, it was too loud in there; but, again, it IS a sports bar and I knew that going in!). The pizza was excellent, the service was just fine(except for the really smug young man working the hostess station). No problems. Will I return? You bet. Just not when there’s a really big game on. Thanks, Jonathans!

The bam bam shrimplets have no flavor of shrimp. They are heavily crusted in what can only be described as hard candy with a smidge of cayenne. The salsa was basically unseasoned diced tomatoes. The prime rib sandwich had no flavor to speak of, but was greasy. Don’t think I’ll be giving them a second shot.

We’ve had much better service at McDonalds. It was very slow and although tables seemed to clear they were not turning them around very fast. The food was alright. Much of our party was not impressed with their order. Bison burger came out charred and the blacked chicken was cold and just had seasoning tossed on it??? Much of the party said they would pick other places over this place. We may give it a try again… we will see. Very disappointed. It’s a bar that just might have food, very hit or miss.

Here with large party from work. Orders taken promptly and appetizers arrived in acceptable time frame. Half the table received entrees long before the other half. Also servers did not seem to remember who ordered what. Quality and quantity of food was great. Shared appetizers were Bang Bang Shrimp, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Chips & Queso, Fried Mozzarella all were great. Really liked the Buffalo Dip. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza(recommended by co-worker) and was not disappointed. Did not hear any co-workers complain about food. I would likely return when in the area.

Eh. Husband ordered a BBQ burger, requested it to be cooked medium. It was so over-cooked that even I thought it was bad(and I prefer well-done meat). I ordered a pizza — grilled chicken and herb. It was dry. No cheese?! Very little chicken, heavy on the«herb», which was a dry seasoning that was applied heavy-handedly to the whole thing. Crust was well cooked, but flavorless. One of my children ordered the pretzel appetizer. Those were great. He orders pretzels everywhere and these were the best I’ve tried. Unfortunately, tasty pretzels are not enough to bring us back to this restaurant. Also, service was slow despite it being pretty empty. Staff was standing around chatting. Our server never asked us how our food was. It was not the worst meal we’ve ever had, nor the worst. But far from good too.

Better than the rest. Different menu items compared to Logan’s, O’Charleys, and Applebee’s. This isn’t your average steakhouse but instead offers a variety of menu options that are out of the ordinary. I’ve tried the«Bistro Burger», the«Horseshoe», and the Steak Sandwich. The burger wasn’t anything special, just meat and bread. However the Horseshoe was like a deconstructed chili burger topped with fries. Last, the steak sandwich was the best I’ve eaten since Samboli’s first opened. Salads are well prepared and fresh. We tried the nachos as an appetizer and found them to be delicious. My wife had the grilled chicken but wasn’t impressed. She then tried the chicken tenders and enjoyed those. But she really liked the chicken quesadilla. Service was great, well prepared for the crowd they had each day. Refills are amazing as they place a pitcher of what you’re drinking at the table so you can refill when you need to. I’m not saying this place is without flaws, the burger wasn’t great and I’ll likely not have another. I’m glad this restaurant offers something different than a basic menu with recycled and renamed entrées. Pros: Menu Variety Service Cons: Some items aren’t seasoned well
