Charley’s Grilled Subs

Haven’t been here in a while, sandwiches started to taste bland and stale. Came here today and had a completely different experience, call it girl power if u want because the all girl staff rocked it and made a great sandwich in record time. Great job to the crew at West Valley Mall today!

This place used to be our family’s favorite take out food. But not anymore. Their sandwiches has no flavor whatsoever! My husband had to put ketchup in his sandwich to give it some flavor. And he doesn’t like ketchup! He also requested extra mushrooms and they hardly put any. He advised the cook and she gave him an attitude and without an apology grabbed the sandwich and said will cook another one. We also requested no tomatoes for our son’s sandwich and what do they do, put tomotoes! It’s so sad, but we are no longer going to eat here again. Very disappointing.

So sad this was my favorite place. Just went and the food changed. Horrible. The quality is bad. Then they use to put sliced cheese on sub. They sprinkled tiny bit of cheap shredded cheese. Bacon quality changed. So disappointed.

Always makes a great sandwich wish they had a resturant outside of the mall. But I always go there when im at the mall. I would recommend eating here over all the other selections in the food court.

Alright for the location. The fries are insane! Tasty but so bad for you and long waits most of the time. Otherwise not too bad.

Amazing after watching a 2 hour movie in the morning and then eating a nice well cooked sandwich here at Charlie’s. Thee are no cons and if you buy 8 subs, you get the ninth free.

It looks good. The taste is good for mall food. The bread out weighs the meat by far. This sandwich would be better if it wasn’t an empty roll

This is by far the best option in the mall food court. In general, I personally prefer a hot sub over a subway or Togos type sandwich.
Service is usually great. If you have the pleasure of going when the owner is working, you can really see his passion for his business through his customer interactions. But if you’re there when they are really busy, expect a little bit of a wait as everything is cooked to order.
I love their gourmet fries! The Buffalo ranch are the best.
I guess this place would be considered a little on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion!

This place is alright for being inside a mall food court I would say it’s probably one of the better options. Slightly ironic that they are located right next door to Subway which always has less people lining up for food.
My regular choice is the Turkey Cheddar Melt but the Ultimate Club is also pretty good and they’re a decent size too, half is enough for a light Lunch.
They also serve Salads here and ”Gourmet Fries” which is essentially just Fries smothered in various toppings. Hmm yeah… I think I’ll save my Cholesterol levels from that.

Buffalo sandwiches are good. Fries are decent, nothing special. The sandwiches are always steaming hot which is great. A little pricey for what you get, however.
If we eat at the food court, it’s usually here.

Get yourself the steak italiano, sub in ranch for mayo and you have yourself a lil bit of heaven

There will NOT be a next time for this cheap restaurant at the Tracy mall. I added a picture of the flimsy sandwich they charged me dated 7÷27÷12. They are over priced for not much of anything on their sandwich. There was more bread then anything. Their fries are good but not going to pay over $ 7.00 for a rip off sandwich.

Upon deciding which place in the food court to try during lunch, this place caught my eye. They cooked it to order which is always a plus and I waited only 5 minutes. However the food itself was a little subpar compared to the cheese steak shack franchise and other places I have been to before. I got the cheese steak deluxe (+peppers and onions to the regular) and I felt they kinda skimped on the meat. The meat itself was kinda chewy and not really fresh IMO. I was desperately thirsty so adding the fries and drink combo for another 2.89 was another setback. I also felt pretty gross and the desire to work out after eating my sandwich. For $ 12 I expect to have at least a satisfying sandwich but I came back pretty disappointed. I wont be back

Fresh subs, great fries and friendly customer service. Hands down the best fast food at the mall.

The best, twice in a row I tried the same meal and it was the best. Fresh cooked and what can I say I could not finished my fries, it was too much. I tried the Philly Steak Delux twice in a week and the teast was the same and cooked really good. Definitely try it next time when you go to the West Valley Mall.

Cooked to order, best fries, best sandwiches, AT THE MALL? Definitely go here if you are at the mall! You wont regret it!
