Needed help so I pressed the button to call for help. It Didn’t work because it was broke. so I asked an employee walking by for some help. He said he didn’t know the answer but would get help. I also told him the button was broken. 25 minutes later and still no help. I found another employee and he told me that when he was finished with another customer that he would help me. 15 minutes later I found him painting a wall. After asking for help again he assisted me. I then went to another part of the store and asked an employee if they could cut a long pipe I was going to buy. He told me they only cut pipe that you bought at the store. I assume he thinks I brought it in? I told him it was from two aisles over. He then told me that it was a fence post and they don’t cut that. I told him it was conduit and he informed me they weren’t supposed to cut any pipes. What the hell! He told me 20 seconds early that they only cut pipe from their store. This is the worst lowes I have ever been to. I try and shop at lowes because it’s a company from NC but this store makes me want to go across the street to Home Depot.

My husband 7 year old son l, and I were looking to get all new Kitchen appliances, refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop, oven microwave combination, cooktop fan. We went to Home Depot where we were greeted and immediately helped by a man named Charlie(extremely attentive, informative and kind). We wanted to look at other prices because that’s what you do when making a few thousand dollar investment so we headed to Lowes. Went in found the section no one approached us, we looked around for someone, when we found the closest sales associate to the department my husband went over to him and asked for help the man rudely said«it will be a while» lol I don’t know about you but I don’t have«a while» on a Sunday afternoon to wait to spend 5000 $ and up. Headed to Best Buy to compare prices.

I was very disappointed with their washer dryer department. All over the store are signs that say Next Day. Well that’s nonsense. At least two days. The sales rep actually took an attitude with me when I turned down their extended warranty. And then he really didn’t know about the device — asking me ‘when was your house built’

Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Online search indicates where it is located in the store which makes things easy to find. Staff is reasonably knowledgeable. Its a Lowes.

This is our«go to» Lowe’s so we utilize it quite often when our local B& W Hardware, or Town and Country(formerly Ace) doesn’t have what we need. Also, I have painted every room in our house, and what I love about Lowe’s is that when I need to go back for touch-up paint, the Lowe’s card has stored the exact color and type of paint I purchased from them, so it takes the guesswork out of it. I have always been able to find anything I need, and hubs makes weekly trips here so I know he feels the same way. They always have a great selection of plants in the spring, and guarantee them, which is wonderful! My only qualm(reason for star deduction) is the lack of assistance when I need it. I have spent a large amount of time walking around Lowe’s, looking for someone who can direct me in the area I need, or answer a question. On a most recent trip, I found several associates who were not with customers, but they were with each other and clearly did not want to be interrupted. I finally barked out that I needed help and one of the men broke away from the chat session to help me. Overall, not a bad place, but there is clearly a need for staff to be available for customers when needed.

It’s been a couple of years since my review and I felt it was time to update based on my most recent experience. «What we have here is Failure to Communicate» I placed an online order at this store a week ago, received a confirmation of the order being«in process» and in that email was instructed to wait for an email to confirm the order was ready to pick up. I figured it would be later that day. By the next day I figured it would maybe be that day… Yesterday, I emailed customer service to find out the status of my order… This morning, I got the response«We contacted the store and it’s ready to pick up» I think it would have been nice to get that confirmation email as soon as the order was ready. But wait, was it ready? Great, I grab a quick shower, get dressed and head to Wake Forest thinking I’m going to be in and out with my goods… On second thought, it wasn’t true, for the sake of redundancy, my order really wasn’t ready for pick-up. it took customer service a solid 10 minutes to round someone up to go fetch my order. It took that person another solid 15 minutes to get or find my order, and when I got out to my car to put it in my trunk, I noticed part of the order was missing… another trip into the store… another 10 minutes to get someone to help me and another 5 minutes for someone to go get the missing piece of the order. All in all, the approximately 40 minutes wasted started poor communication. Customer service is a thankless job, but it would be less so if there was a bit more competence across the rest of board. This experience is a major«fail» IMHO.

Worst experience i have ever had at Lowes. The Asst Mgr Haley is completely useless when it comes to taking care of a customer. Her attitude and communication skills are pitiful. Her overall skills as a mgr shows how weak lowes is in customer satisfaction.

I love this place. The workers are always so helpful and informed even when you ask stupid questions. When I bought my washer and dryer, the associate took the time to show me all the features on several models. He asked very good questions about what I was looking for in my machines and helped me narrow down my choices. Also they price match all of their competitors. When they delivered the washer and dryer they did a great job. They were very efficient in hooking everything up and they made sure I know how to use everything before they left. I have bought appliances, lawn mowers, grills, blinds, and all kind of household needs here. I would not go anywhere else in town, Especially not the home improvement store across the street that wears orange. This Lowe’s employees are a cut above the rest. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

I like Lowe’s, but as far as I can tell, the difference between Lowe’s and Home Depot is the color scheme. So maybe that’s the reason I prefer Lowe’s. I went here to pick up some wood for a home improvement project. They were very helpful with picking out what I needed. I also needed them to cut the lumber. They will do two cuts free, which is a good deal as long as you don’t need precision cutting. Unfortunately, the day that I went, the cutting apparatus broke down. Of course, it’s a law that each Lowe’s be situated right next to or across from a Home Depot. I simply jumped in the car and drove across the street to get what I needed.

Not all home improvement stores are created equal, so I’m particularly pleased with this Lowe’s. They have a better selection of products than the other home improvement giant down the street. I’ve been here more times than I could remember but spent most of my visits in their paint department for my baby’s nursery. The employees here were nice, explained to me each color option even though I was ignorant on the most basic things. What’s semi-gloss again? A fair warning — their garden department is a zoo in the Spring. All in all, their customer service is outstanding each time I visit.
