Received a Groupon as gift and made our first and not last visit. Breakfast fare was very good. We had a party of six and we each ordered something different. Everything was very much enjoyed. I personally can recommend the Spanish Breakfast Burrito. Pancakes were a hit, as were the French toast and impellers. George, the manager, made us feel welcomed and was very attentive. He made excellent recommendations. We’ll be back to try dinner soon.

I could not wait to try this place after finding it on groupon. It’s trendy and almost-secret feeling environment welcomes you the moment you step inside the door. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to point out how to use our groupon to its fullest potential. We grabbed a fantastic bottle of organic wine and proceeded to order our meal. Calamari and duck. Two favorites. Both were fantastic. The sauce for the calamari was so delicious and spicy, I could have it as a dipping sauce for pretty much anything. I’m pleased to say I have that we will probably return, my only wish would be for the restaurant to be in a detached location.

It was okay. My BF got a Groupon to dine here — 2 appetizers and 2 entrees at the restaurant at the Westport Inn. First of all… no matter what they do to the façade… the place is a motel. Plain and simple. You walk into an okay lobby and right into the restaurant with no hostess. The bartender yelled(nicely) from across the room that we could take any table we wanted(there was no one else there when we arrived) so we chose and sat and she brought us menus. She knew we were there with a Groupon because we had followed directions and made a reservation and she explained that the menu had changed, so some of the items were now not included in the Groupon unless we wanted to pay extra for them(which we did and were fine with but it’s annoying). The bar is really tiny and the restaurant itself is not very large. The décor is boring. It’s partitioned off from the lobby but you can still see into it, so it seems more like a place you’d grab breakfast if you were staying in the hotel, not a restaurant you’d go to for $ 25 entrees. There were a couple of people at the bar and a few more customers came in, but the bartender remained the only server in the place. She ended up doing a pretty good job — she was friendly and we didn’t feel totally ignored, but again, for $ 12 salads and $ 25 entrees, a dedicated server would have been nice. I had the Lambs Lettuce salad which was pretty good. The hummus made the lettuce a little wilty and I don’t know why the artichoke was fried, but not bad. I got the tuna as the entrée and it wasn
