Espresso and pancakes were good, we also liked the coconut custard. We never made it back for dessert, but we’ll he back here for bfast next time we’re in the area. Good service too.

We stopped here by accident on our way to the Dells. We thought it was a standard Wisconsin cheese shop(don’t be fooled, they don’t sell cheese), but decided to sit down and grab a quick bite when we saw that it was a restaurant. The service was a little slow. Took us about 10 minutes to get our drink order taken, and they weren’t very busy at all. On the other hand, the food wasn’t bad. Nothing special though. Good for a quick, light lunch, but don’t expect too much.

I wanted to eat everything! Found this place while in town to climb at Devil’s Lake and made a point return for breakfast. Every item that we’ve tried was thoughtfully composed and deliciously engaged taste buds I didn’t know I had. Lovely staff and definitely worth the trip whether you’re near or far.

Outstanding food and service. Everything has been outstanding. Some of the best food I’ve had. Incredibly talented kitchen staff here. Stunning entrees and desserts. Pop your head in and look at the desserts on display. The sight makes my mouth water. The Cheeze Factory is all the more appreciated as a haven of delicious, healthy food in Wisconsin Dells, a place with restaurants known for catering to tourists with grease and salt. To top it off, the service is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. One server in particular is absolutely charming and describes menu with rare eloquence. He made us feel like we were royalty. We’re not royals, but the food was certainly fit for kings and queens!

By far the best place to eat vegetarian food in Dells… We had rattlesnake tofu which was awesome and blackbean burger which was too good… Complete vegan food and a well thought menu.

What an incredible place to eat and have fun! This restaurant is beyond expectations. My visit to this venue was not a planned one. In fact I never knew about this much because my friends and relatives never speak about food stuffs to me. I went to meet my nephew whose house is located very near to Cheeze factory. The vegan list was attractive and mouth-watering. I love vegetarian diet as it is considered to be healthier and not heavy. The menu card made my face bright and the cost of the items gave me a wider smile. I ate cornbread comfort, sandwich, apple pie and a chocolate cake. I wanted to try many different varieties but my stomach didn’t agree. It rather wanted rest because I haven’t taken heavy breakfast like I had here. They also make yummy dishes for people who are sensitive to gluten. Very appreciable as one among twenty have food allergy these days. I should take my family here as soon as possible. It has become my second home. I am a traveler so I used to eat in all the places I go. This restaurant really influenced me as it made me feel like I am eating home made food. The inner atmosphere was pleasant and the hospitality is worth mentioning. The staffs greet you warmly as soon as you enter and are well-behaved till the end. Compare the prices with any place outside, there will be a huge difference. They really don sell anything expensive. It was a memorable experience and I love to taste many more dishes in future. Lastly they also have published cookbook and so interested people can have it if they wish. I am planning to buy one for my home instead of going to cookery classes. Next time I would ask my kid to do some artwork on their table for remembrance. Amazinggggg!!!

I go here when I’m on vacation in the Dells and I’m so grateful for this place. Everyone is so nice, the food is always done to perfection, and the place makes you feel so at home. I would order anything from the menu, always have it with an ice cream soda to drink cause that’s amazing. The Cheeze Factory keeps me coming back to the Dells.

This place is vegan and I am not a vegan so my review is for all the non vegans. I’ve been doing the wheat belly diet for the past month or so. I said this weekend I was going to have a cheat carb meal for the first time in weeks so I can’t lie. When I find out this place was vegan I was disappointed. I thought to myself what a horrible cheat meal. I ordered pancakes. They were actually really good. Not good for a vegan place. Good period. Portions are huge. It came with 2 pancakes. I could only eat one. My only regret is that I wish I would have just split some with my husband so that we didn’t waste food. Also it smells funny in here. I think it is because the building is just old. That’s why I only gave 4 stars. My husband thought it was fine, and that I was just being overly critical.

I heard this was a vegan restaurant and noticed the great reviews, so I was curious to try it. After looking over the menu, I started to become skeptical and thought maybe this isn’t what I was in the mood for. Good thing I gave this place a chance because the mushroom sandwich in flatbread I ordered was delicious. You don’t get a whole lot of food but it’s definitely worth a try.

We almost walked out when we found out it was a vegan restaurant but we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. We tried the fish sticks, which if I didn’t know better would swear it was fish! The black bean soup tasted like chili and the salad was beautiful as well as tasty. We wrapped it up with the key lime cheesecake. I was sure that I wouldn’t like this because I’m a cheesecake snob, however, it was very creamy and the lime flavor was perfect. The cheesecake is made with cashews and key lime with an almond and date crust. We will definitely return. Don’t let the vegan scare you away. There are plenty of choices.

My Husband and I always look for a new place to try when we visit Wisconsin Dell’s. We loved the vegetarian menu, food was absolutely amazing and the wait staff was wonderful. We will be coming back to eat there again.

As long as you know you’re paying a little more than the cost of a meal at a typical restaurant in the area, you will not be disappointed. You get what you pay for. Wonderful lattes and cappuccinos and fountain sodas. Staffed by a friendly, knowledgable and attentive staff. Our kids were a little wild and loud, and our waiter was exceptionally patient and helpful. He recommended the pancakes with the coconut custard & bananas, versus the sausage my husband was planning to order, he was so right! It was amazing and unique. I ordered the fiesta fajita grande. Large portion and SO Yummy– a little heat, and an awesome mix of grilled vegetables. Really worth a stop in for something different and delicious. Nothing against the gluttonous, cheesy deep fried, pizza spots — but this meal was a nice change on our last vacation day. It filled us up with high quality food.

Be aware that this is a vegan friendly eatery. Their customer service is very good. Their menu is pretty abundant and they have a couple of gluten-free options. Pretty good vegan friendly restaurants with pretty good options. We ordered a Portobello sandwich. It was very good. We also ordered the house salad which was also very good. We ordered the Asian dish and it was very tasty. I do have the suggestion of having the option of coconut milk for the lattes. I don’t particularly like the way almond milk cuts up after it is frothed and soy milk is not an option for me since I have estrogen dominance. The carrot cake is definitely one to try. It was extremely good for a vegan friendly carrot cake. We also tried the chocolate cake dessert and figured out that the glitter on top was actually salt. We liked the carrot cake a lot more than the chocolate option.

Wife and I took the boys up for some waterpark fun a couple weekends ago. As most know, the food options suck around the Dells, unless you eat pizza and fried items on the regular. Well we don’t and by the time Saturday night came around I was already sick of the typical fare. I found this gem which is located across the street from Wilderness. Neither one of us are vegetarians, however we probably eat less meat then most. This place was amazing! We devoured our meals, everything had great flavor and was incredibly filling. We actually over ordered, because I was scared the dishes would be small. They aren’t. All I could think about was how I wish this place was located near our home. If, and thats a big if, we ever make it back to the Dells we will definitely be visiting here again.

Very beautiful décor, great service, and even better meal. The burger and chips were to die for and the Asian medley was superb. Service was fast in this old time setting. It will transfer you to a better time with food that doesn’t leave you feeling weighed down. We will return.

Great Vegan restaurant. A break from all that fatty«Dells» food. Happy this place is here. Loved the smoothies and chickpea chili was fantastic! Really nice people that work there too. They should have a sign outside that tells you it’s Vegan. I thought I was going to a quaint French restaurant but I was very happy with the whole experience.

This place is fab-u-lous! What a great option to have in the Dells! Everything we ordered was truly outstanding for the vegans, omnivores and children alike. Here is what I tried: — House Dinner Salad — Middle Eastern Classic — «Tuna» salad sandwich(doesn’t taste like actual tuna but gives the same«mouth feel») — «Fisch» and chips(tastes so much like fisch it’s creepy) — Kids’ Grilled Cheese — Kids’ pasta w/marinara sauce(YUM!) — Spiced sweet potato wedges(Soooo good!) — Home style potato wedges — Chocolate cake with ice cream(beautiful and delicious) — Key lime cashew dream cake(who needs cheesecake???) Kids couldn’t believe their grilled«cheeze» sandwiches weren’t actually«cheese». I am vegan and couldn’t believe the«fisch» and chips was totally plant based. I actually got scared I ate fish and called the server over to make sure it wasn’t lol! Service was warm and helpful and the manager, chef and server went out of their way to accommodate us and make recommendations. So don’t be scared off by the plant-based cuisine. We all agreed it was the best meal we had in a long while.

Ambience is quirky. It’s like an old timey diner. The help isn’t amazing. They warn you its all vegan but not in an exciting way, more like a scare you away, way. And the waitresses had almost a European vibe, not super excited to help or serve, but available and pleasant enough. The food was actually pretty good, and I’m not a vegetarian. I had the Canadian club sandwich(which includes zero whiskey). All the food of my friends around me looked and smelled really good too. Their deserts all looked really good, although we didn’t imbibe. I would go back if I was looking for something healthy or had vegetarian friends that were insistent on the food. Probably not for the atmosphere though.
