Pasta Bar

Lo descubrimos paseando y por casualidad caminando del lado de Barrio Gótico con algo de hambre. Lo que nos llamó la atención es que en toda la entrada estaban preparando la pasta en la máquina, por lo que obligatoriamente ibamos a comer pasta fresca.
Entramos y era un lugar pequeño, pero lindo y muy estetico. Pedí un menú de 8,5 euros que correspondía a una crema de vegetales, una pasta plana con una salsa sencilla y el refresco. Muy buena relación calidad-​cantidad-​precio.
Fuera del menú te cobran por la salsa que les coloques y las pastas rellenas con un extra de 1,5 euros.

Cheap and tasty pastas. You can make your own combination. A bit small place but if you go just before the «prime time», you can easily find a seat.

Fresh and fantastic food. Cool fitout too. Very cheap (⁷⁄₈ Euro) for fresh Gnocci with bolognese.

Excellent food. Great service, delicious pasta. All pasta is hand made and every dish is made to order. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Not a fancy restaurant but great for a quick stop.

This place was great homemade pasta. It’s the design of the interior with the good food and good prices that all contribute to an easy lunch or dinner. Not at all a place for if you want a waiter and a good wine selection, but perfect if you want something easy and delicious after a long day of touring.

This is probably some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had and I just left a 5 day trip to Rome, Naples, and Florence. Super fresh food. Super quick. Tourist-​friendly staff.
Did I mention that our amazing full bottle of wine only cost us $ 8 Euro?

The staff were great and welcoming. But quite honestly, I thought the food was just ok and I couldn’t help but be slightly disappointed. It’s basically fast food; you order by picking a pasta, a sauce and topping (s). And I hate to say it but taste was reminiscent of pasta from the grocery store and heated up jar-​ed pasta sauce (not saying it was but reminded me of it). My tagliatelle was not al dente and was a bit gummy. It is freshly made however taste-​wise it was just not there for me.
The prices are very reasonable however. I would say this place would be a great option to take children.

Friendly staff, excellent food, easy to do! Wish we had this is the states! Ended up going here twice for quick delicious dinner in the three days we spent in Barcelona. Hate to say it but since we were sick of tapas and paella (started our trip in Madrid) this was perfect!

Am ersten Abend unseres Barcelona-​Urlaubs hatten wir abends Hunger und entdeckten während unserer ersten Stadterkundung die «Pasta Bar», über die ich bereits bei Unilocal Gutes gelesen hatten.
Dort kann die frische Pasta (Spaghetti, Rigatoni, Tagliatelle, usw.) mit einer wählbaren Soße und weiteren Toppings kombiniert werden. Anschließend werden die Gerichte vor den Augen der Kunden zubereitet.
Wir entschieden uns für Rigatoni Bolognese und grüné Tagliatelle mit einer Tomaten-​Antipasti-​Soße. Leider war das Geschmackserlebnis in beiden Fällen nicht gerade herausragend… Die Nudeln waren noch sehr hart, Antipasti bedeutete zwei kleine Dosenchampignons und ein kleines Stück Paprika und auch der Parmesan war ziemlich geschmacksneutral. Die Portionen waren auch relativ klein, allerdings bei einem Preis von etwa 6 – 7 € kann man am Abend in Barcelona wohl auch nichts anderes erwarten.
Insgesamt ein schönes Konzept fernab der Tourifallen an den Ramblas, eine angenehme Atmosphäre und grundsätzlich eine gute Auswahl. Allerdings aufgrund des Geschmacks nicht gerade zu empfehlen.
Wer es dennoch testen möchte, sollte mittag das Angebot nutzen, für 8,90 € aus einem reduzierten Angebot an Pasta, Suppe/​Salat und Getränk zu wählen.

Great lunch spot. Good service, fast delivery and the pasta is really good. I had the spinach tagliatelle with mushrooms, olives, and salmon cream sauce. Really good. 2 full pasta dishes, and 2 beers less than 20 €. Not too shabby!

The place looks cool specially how the cooking area was design within a narrow restaurant, in other hand, the food lacked taste to it, plus the pasta was chewy for my taste. I had it with bolognese sauce and my wife had it with tomato sauce mixed with cream sauce.

Un sitio muy agradable donde degustar un buen plato de pasta a un precio muy razonable. Para mi gusto la pasta estaba un poco sosa pero la salsa y los toppings –pesto con gambas en mi caso– lo convirtieron en una cena riquísima.
Aunque no acepten reservas no tardas mucho en encontar unos buenos sitios.
Yo recomendaria este restaurante a grupos pequeños o parejas que busquen un sitio diferente donde comer pasta fresca ya que el local no es muy grande y es perfecto para una cena intima y tranquila. Como está situado al lado del borne tienes cerca un monton de locales donde salir a tomar algo.

The pasta was gummy and underseasoned. The salad was way overdressed. I have had food cooked at a school cafeteria that was better.

You pick the pasta, sauce, and other ingredients. They make it in front of you. The salad is very good. Staffs are fairly friendly. The food tastes good, though we’d prefer a little more sauce. The decorations on the wall are weird.

Literalmente ADORO este sitio. Cada vez que me dejo caer por Barcelona alli voy. Y aunque ha cambiado un poquito desde sus inicios ha sido en el buen camino. Han aumentado su oferta de tipos de pasta y las salsas que la acompañan y que te dejan a cuadros.
Concepto de italiano diferente y con gancho. Definamosle como pasta-​rapida pero de extrema calidad. Y eso lo puedes notar ya en la entrada con la máquina de hacer pasta fresca que deja estupefactos a todo el que pasa por el callejón donde esta escondido.
Bueno y una vez que te decides a entrar el procedimiento es fácil:
1) elijes la pasta
2) seleccionas la salsa
3) añades toppings si estas de humor
4) pasas al fondo, te sientas y te dispones a disfrutar de algo bueno-​bonito-​barato.
Como «turista» de Barcelona, os lo recomiendo TOTALMENTE si estas disfrutando de esta parte de la ciudad. Huir de los timos de las Ramblas y dejaros caer por aqui. Todo un descubrimiento por mi parte, y ya son 5 años que lo sigo frecuentando.

I used to live right next to this place and ignored it for the longest time — what a mistake that was! This place is amazing. Such good food! The pasta is real italian pasta and very flavorful. Hard to resist stopping by this place on the way home. Highly recommended!

Real food, pasta such as tagalatellie cooked perfect aldente with sauces to chooses from like bolgenese or carbonara, you can add shrimp and vegetables like broccoli and tomatoes. Huge salads with non-​iceberg lettuce, because that or rocket is all they serve in spain, and lots of cherry tomatoes. Approximately 10 euro, sit down in minimalism or take to go. Beats tapas that having been sitting out all day, hence «fresh real food.» Better than Tucco which we also tried in same hood. See that review.

A small, lively, and nautical-​themed pasta restaurant where you can choose as many ingredients to go into your creation as you’d like. Apart from being a little crowded during their busy hours, their pastas are delicious and are served with a complimentary side of fresh bread if you request it. I always order the tagliatella pasta with either pesto or red pesto sauce and have never been disappointed. With everyone creating something different, it’s fun to go around and have a taste of the other dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant to fresh pasta lovers and those looking for a more creative dinner option.

Es un local pequeñito, pero que llama la atención, a ladito de la Plaza del Tripi. La variedad no es muy grande, pero puedes combinarla a tu gusto. La cocina está allí mismo, por lo que ves en directo como preparan tu comida. Y no hay duda que el cocinero tiene experiencia, cocina como si se hubiera pasado toda la vida haciendo lo mismo. Puedes comértelo allí mismo (aunque el local es pequeñito) pero también tienen servicio take away. Está claro que los italianos triunfan en Barcelona, y este es otro ejemplo. Pasta fresca lista en un momento!

Siempre pasaba enfrente cuando regresaba de mi verdurlería habitual y pensaba… ¡Lo probarás, lo probarás, lo probarás! Me llamaba la atención el local en sí –pequeñito pero con gusto, muy casual– y la pasta, que siempre tenía muy buena pinta. Y, finalmente, hoy sí. Hoy lo he probado! Hoy me he dejado de verduras y historias y lo he probado.
La cosa ha ido así de rápida: he elegido mi pasa –unos tagliatelles-​, he elegido el acompañante –yo he optado por la rúcula pero hay opción de más verduras o pollo y carne– y, finalmente, ha llegado el momento de la salsa: yo, pesto, por supuesto. Me lo han preparado todo a la vista, me he sentado –también puedes llevártelo– y me lo he comido casi tan rápido como me lo han servido. ¡Tenía hambre!
Para que os hagáis una idea… Es como un establecimiento de comida rápida pero fresca, sana y buena. ¡Muy buena! ¿Y todo por??? ¡Un poco más de 4 euros! ¿Merece la pena probarlo, no? ¡Yo volveré seguro!
