McDonald’s

Pulled up to the drive through after we left the Del Mar Fair. I was craving a fish fil-​a and skipped the fair food. Someone came on the intercom and asked for our order. We ordered, pulled up to pay and the «pay window» was shut. We sat there and waited and waited… I tried calling the restaurant, no one ever answered the phone. Then someone inside just waved us on… like «we’re closed» What is up with that? Don’t have us give our order if you’re closed! I feel that this was very poor customer service! …should’ve just eaten greasy fair food… heading to the San Marcos Blvd location xtra hungry :(

This McDonald is horrible. They always get my orders wrong and it is upsetting when you get all the way home to find this out. When I go thru the drive thru I now check my order before I leave there. The other night my husband went there and got a Big Mac & Fish Sandwich and large French Fry’s. When he got home the Big Mac had only lettuce on it and the Large French Fry’s where only half filled — cheating you out of half the Large French, the Fish Sandwich did not have cheese on it. I called that McDonalds and got someone who did not speak English. I asked for the manager and he said in broken English that he was the manger. I tried to explain to him what happened and he did not understand me. I asked to speak with someone who spoke English and he hung up on me. I went down there and asked for the manger and sure enough it was the man who did not speak English. When I told him what had happened and had the bag with me to show him he would not take the bag and told me to move my car as he had other customers. He did not care about my situation and offered no help. I have gone to this McDonald because it was the closest to me. I will never go there again — I will now go to the McDonalds on the corner of Encinitas Blvd & El Camino Real. They are the nicest people and have never got my order wrong!

While i did like the service here and this is a newer location, pretty modern inside with a large playground for kids, the food is still horrible quality.
I had a few coupons to try their new smoothies and yogurt and while the yogurt was good, I wish the fruit was not frozen, made it unpleasant to eat.
The smoothies very artificial and really not worth it, even free i passes on drinking it.
Items came out quickly, store clean and well maintained, just not worth spending your money on.

Went here at 11 and they were closed!!! Since when do the close the drive through?

Horrible French fries and cheese burger –We pay money for this crap and expect it to be at least warm and not from snotty dude in the window taking your money. Get a job where you don’t deal with humans –Don’t go here. Spend the few extra bucks and get some quality food.

I love that you are always super nice to the customers and whenever you make something it is always right on the spot! You’re the yummiest place I ever tasted!

15 minutes only one car ahead of me waiting at the window. The slowest McDonald’s ever. Ladies yelling in Spanish inside working. Also it was not busy it was 11:15pm.

Twas a rainy day in Southern California so I decided to give traffic a break and stop by the closest McD. First, I went to the bathroom but realized that the toilet paper was just sitting on the floor – not very sanitary. The next stall was a little better and had the paper sitting on the hand rail. I noticed the employee who came out from the stall before me didn’t wash her hands. I didn’t bother ordering anything. Hand washing after using the bathroom should be common decency!

Burnt black grill waste all over my sausage muffin. Barely warm burrito. Rude and unclean staff arguing because the one at the window gave away my order.

This McDonald’s is crazy busy every time we pass by. My kids wanted the free Build-​A-​Bear toys that came with the Happy Meal this season. Normally we strive not to eat fast-​food but this was an exception. Just be prepared to wait for a while if going through the drive-​thru.

I go here to take my kids here to eat stuff that is supposedly food and to let them on the play structure. I like the $ 1.00 drinks The only thing decent on the menu is brewed iced tea.
The inside remodel is really modern looking. Since the remodel the room temp is always freezing. My kids enjoy the new playstructure but miss the old «treehouse». There is no shade anywear to be found at the new play area :-(no matter what time of day so mom misses the old play area too.

You know McDonald’s food, this is just about the establishment and customer service.
The place was very clean and looked good! They have state of the art menus which are actually flat screen TVs, nice playground, cool furniture, friendly employees, & best of all they accept apple pay! So easy to pay on my watch I love it. Nice and cold during a hot summer day as well, would recommend the location. The food though, well you know…

The food is McDonald’s food so this isn’t a food review you know what to expect.
This is a customer service review. The man on the speaker got our entire order wrong. When we corrected it at the first window and went to the second he said we had to pay for the drinks we wanted because it wasn’t put down. A 1 $ sweet tea can’t be given free because of your first window and drive thru persons inability to simply take an order?
I know customer service is a hard job. I’ve worked it. My family member even worked at an McDonald’s. But what he did was so lazy and insulting. Acting like we are idiots.
Will never come back unless it’s a simple mc chicken and tea. Which seems maybe to complicated and they’re unprofessional in any situation.
Where is the remodel of the inside? Staff?

I’m not one for fast food but I came here for an ice cream and breakfast sandwich. I love that they serve breakfast all day long now. This McDonald’s was totally updated with a new fresh modern look and was really clean. They also have a new play structure. The employees were really friends and very easy to understand over the intercom.

This store has serious issues getting orders straight. Three visits and three wrong orders. Once inside and twice through the drive thru. Items left off, items made wrong, items put in that were not asked for, time expired items received and condiments left out that were requested. We thought maybe they were having a bad day but apparently the only thing they are consistent at is making sure your food is wrong. We will not be returning to this location. It’s too easy to go to a different store that effectively gets it right.

Not a big fast food fan. Not at all. But I just can’t quit the $ 1 large diet cokes. As far as I’m concerned the following are good choices at McDonalds: soda, cone/​sundae, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal, yogurt parfait, $ 1 hot cakes plain for kids. And that about sums it up. Can’t remember the last time I got something other than the above stated. 5 years at least.
This location looks great after the renovation!
Employees are always really friendly and drive thru is quick.

This McDonalds got a very nice upgrade! I’m happy that the chain has decided to really revamp their exterior and interior looks to be more of a dining café almost!
But ya know what really hits the nail on the head? Sausage Egg McMuffins! YUM!
