Keep in mind my wife an i only had the fried green tomatoes appetizer. It was fried with the most rancid oil I have ever had in a «good» restaurant. The staff was pleasant. The host service was good. The location was obviously why we are there. But not again. If I know one thing about my wife is that she is very reluctant to re-try a restaurant that failed in its basics. Even the water tastes terrible. Just terrible… It was a pleasant experience but my taste buds suffered the brunt of it.

You have to go early or you will be waiting in line. I love the seating outside. It’s always a nice place to go and hang out with friends. I wish the space was larger. The drinks are a little pricey when you compare to other area bars. The service is usually terrible. The wait times for drinks are extremely too long. The only thing I like about the place is the atmosphere is great. On a nice night with the right company you can have a great time there.

Awesome view. Throwing up in my mouth watching 12 year olds schlepping $ 14 cocktails together.

This is a must visit. Sure, the service is not so good and the prices are not so good, but the view and the atmosphere is incredible. We go here every time we visit Savannah.

I had a really lovely date here with my wife. Cocktails were great and sitting by the fire was amazing! It’s really easy to get to and is definitely worth a visit.

We had drinks here one cool night. They have cool gas fire pits that keep you cosy.

Came on a rainy night, so we didn’t get to see the views we have heard rumors about. The rooftop room was hot until they opened one of the garage doors. Was nice to have live entertainment. Great drink selection. Would recommend bringing the happy hour specials upstairs also. Service was quick, very attentative. Will come back again to try to enjoy the view.

Happening bar on the roof of the Bohemian hotel. We went on a busy Saturday — had to wait a while for bar service but were well taken care of when it was our turn. Drinks are pricey and standard. You pay for the view. Tons of people, seems like a good place to meet. Didn’t try the food.

Cool place! We are from California and went to Savannah for a vacation. We heard good things about this place and when we went it was crowded. Unfortunately it was raining and all of the sliding doors were closed and we couldn’t sit outside so it was SUPERLOUD, couldn’t even hold a conversation with each other. I think if the outside seating was available and the doors were open this would have been a better experience, I will go back next time I am in town.

We came here to drink and dance for my friend’s bachelorette party on a Saturday night. The views from the wrap around patio was beautiful. The bartenders were quick and friendly. The best part of the whole night was the live band! They were so talented and played a great diverse mix of songs that kept us dancing and singing along. The ambiance was causal club setting. We loved it.

The service here is nonexistent. I came here on my 30th birthday and was completely ignored as I waited at a table outside for 20 minutes. When I looked for the server I found her with a group of guys looking at pictures on a cell phone. Very disappointed in this place.

Of the viewing options — Savannah Rooftops versus Savannah River — the river view is certainly the better option. That said — the views are not very scenic as you’re partially blocked by the adjacent architectural horror Hyatt Hotel. How on earth was that hotel — which looks like a jail — allowed to be built on Savannah’s waterfront. Other than the distant bridge not much else to see. Still — the venue is relaxing. We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes which were excellent. The cheese board selection was acceptable. Additional bread was needed and ordered and we were surprised to be charged $ 2. Service was a bit uneven as there seemed to be a shortfall of waiters /servers. Nice for a quick stop and bite…

Had a peach Martini and a Savannah tea. Both were great. Go for the view of the Savannah river. Beautiful.

Sexy place with great ambience. My server was awesome. Menu looks eclectic good, but I just popped in for wine and dessert.

On a mini vacation to Savannah we stopped in for a drink and the view. We found awesome seats out on the balcony and enjoyed the night. Definitely a nice spot that feels fancy but doesn’t come with all of the fancy price tags.

4.5 stars for this rooftop bar’s view, and probably about 1 star for the drinks. For what we were paying to stay at the Grand Bohemian, maybe my expectations were a bit too high(or I’ve been spoiled with other amazing rooftop bars) but while anxiously awaiting an artisanal cocktail,(the Savannah tea something) it left a lot to be desired. In fact, it was so awful(way too sweet, almost saccharin tasting and not a great balance for the alochol), I gave it away. Dismal beer selection as well, but I can say, we did get our drinks pretty quickly. Back to the views, the main bar is indoors, and there is a sliver of area around the perimeter, for the views. The side by the river was completely filled, so we opted to head to the other side, which was still a pretty awesome view of the city. Our secret was soon discovered, and more people started to fill in on the other side. We didn’t have a bite here,(well not until we ordered room service later, for the saddest looking margarita pizza ever: but it actually tasted pretty good.) If you are looking for fantastic cocktails while visiting Savannah, I’d definitely pass on this place, but if you already are staying at the hotel, it would be worth it to head on up and grab a big brand beer, just to see the view.

Breath taking views of the river from atop a beautiful hotel. The food was tapas style and was thoroughly enjoyed! The duck wings were my favorite. I love a great duck and these were crispy and delicious. Service was good, not great. We also got a cheese and meat board, along with truffle fries that were enjoyed. Overall good food with a great view.

This bar came highly recommended by the desk clerk of another Marriott property, and wins points for the view and décor(the rest of the hotel is highly attractive and distinctive in appearance also). I decided to stop by for a drink while wandering around town. The drink I chose(the Charleston Mule) fell far short of its enticing menu description. Service was robotic and inattentive, and staff interactions that I witnessed were borderline inappropriate. Childish employee banter is okay at a neighborhood corner bar, but not at a high end boutique hotel. I found an outside table to attempt to enjoy my mediocre cocktail and ended up staying for an hour engaging with some other guests — during that time, nobody ever came over to ask if I wanted anything else. When I’m paying $ 14.30 for a drink, I want it to knock my socks off. A regular Mule would have been better… if they knew how to make one. The bartender who served me is getting by on his good looks, but needs some training in public relations and barcraft. Tons of wasted potential up here.

Great views. Slow(slow) service with some overpriced drinks. Crappy furniture. Just a poorly run experience that has so much potential. Disappointing.

A very nice bar with a great rooftop and view over the river and waterfront. The patrons were a bit obnoxious around us, but it may have been the night. They have live music periodically, but the best place is outside on the roof by the fire pit. The beer menu wasn’t huge, but had a few interesting choices on it.
