If you are looking for a special steak place for that super special event, Ruth Chris is the place to go. The steaks are wonderful, served on a piping hot 500degree plate, cooked to perfection. I usually have the filet — it is truly the most tender piece of meat I’ve ever had. The sides are wonderful. My partner drools for the creamed spinach, the mushrooms are average, the potatoes scrumptious. The service is very good. Not hovering, but available if you need something and usually the staff sees your need before you ask. Definitely a place I keep on my go to list for a special evening.

First time to a Ruth Chris, wasnt to impressed. Had the calamari app it was good. I ordered the filet 44 $ and it was by far the worst filet Ive ever had. It was very chewy not tender melt in your mouth filet Im use to. The waitress did offer to replace it after we were all done eating. I asked for it to go. Got home and was going to have a few bites of it to see how it was. I had ordered it medium. It was bloody rare almost blue. Another disapointment. I will not be going back.

It’s Ruth’s Chris. It’s a chain seen all over the great U-S of A and people eat there. In fact, we ate there. It’s questionable whether it’s actually worth the price(especially when they put that stinking goat cheese on my salad despite me requesting none), but it’s dinner. It was a celebratory dinner for my SIL who just ran a big marathon and so we all ate a really expensive and yet mediocre dinner because isn’t that what one does when you’ve just ran a marathon. Except that mediocre part. ;) I recommend the Olde Pink House if you want an authentic, local flair. Or… there’s always expensive, overpriced steak with a side of overpriced potatoes(I mean $ 9 for a baked potato! YOWZA).

I have been to 4 – 5 different Ruth’s locations throughout the country. This location has a delicious house vinaigrette with a citrus taste to it. The drinks were strong and they waiter was able to offer an excellent wine pairing for my guest’s entrée. My water glass was never empty, and the service was what I have come to expect from Ruth’s –great. I went during restaurant week, and you get a good amount of food for $ 30. Just realize you are getting a USDA Prime steak for next to nothing, but I am one to always choose quality over quantity.

Good service, we were served so fast. But we still think the steaks at Morton’s or Flemings are much better.

This place is so overrated. It’s the kind of place a guy brings his date when he wants to impress her because he can drop $ 300 on a meal. We were here for a company dinner last weekend and were a party of 12. The service was average. Waitstaff was attentive to some of our needs(ordering and refilling waters) but our table had to ask multiple times for other things like additional glasses of wine and bread. The prices are exorbitant. $ 87 for a ribeye and $ 50 for a filet mignon that does NOT include sides. We ordered hot and cold appetizer sampler platters — both were nothing spectacular. I will say that my petit filet and creamed spinach were good. My steak was a little over cooked(medium instead of medium rare). The most annoying thing is there is a minimum price you must spend when in a large party. Although we’d already spent over $ 1,000 on dinner the restaurant made us spend $ 80 more because we had not met the minimum for a party of our size. I spoke to the manager and they refused to excuse the $ 80 difference so we bought an $ 80 bottle of wine to account for it. We will not be coming back because it’s way too overpriced.

We had our first experience at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Savannah Ga last night. They were very attentive to you as soon as you walked in and Kari our server gave the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The lobster appetizer was so good, the sides were perfect for sharing and the steak… well lets just say it was the best steak I’ve ever had! Yes it is pricey but a great place for a special occasion or when you just want to treat yourself! We will return!

Our steaks were cooked to perfection. It came out sizzling hot in a pool of bubbly butter. The char on the outside was lovely. The beef was cooked to the temperature as requested. The French onion soup was smothered with lovely melted cheese with a sherry laced beef and onion broth. My husband loved his huge wedge salad dusted in bacon and blue cheese. The server, Matt, was a real disappointment. Perhaps he had too many tables to oversee. We rarely saw him and therefor the service was sub par to say the least. It was my birthday and it went recognized even though we had told the host during reservations and we opened gifts at the table.

Ok, let me start pricing fine normal for steak house. Service sucks, food was not up to other Ruth Chris places in other states. Ordered a pomegranate martini, rimmed in sugar. Ok maybe s southern thing. No biggie. I’ll order next minus a pound of rock sugar. Ordered the app. Bbq shrimp, stuff mushrooms and calamari. Not bad. Not great. But still eating the appetizer and Boom! The porterhouse for two and the sides came. The waiter fumbled with how to clear the table and put the food down since he only had one tray. The food came out super, super fast. The porterhouse was undercooked, fine for me. I like rare but agreed to a medium well. It was still bleeding so my husband was not pleased. The steak was smaller than normal, fine we always have leftovers for the dogs. But this had so much pepper on it. The manager came over and asked, my husband said too much pepper. She said ok I’ll tell cook do u want another, no. I refused to send stuff back. Lol I’ll either eat it or leave it. The potatoes were the opposite, super salty. Creamed spinach was good. The Oscar something side not my cup of tea. Now, we go to the Palm, bobby vans, Benjamin’s, del Frisco, park house, etc lots of steakhouses. I just think this place has so much tourist business that they don’t have or care to have a true steakhouse experience. It was rush in and out. Food was not u to par. Only good thing I got out of this was had my hubby agree to not frequent restaurants in heavy tourist areas that we have a certain expectation with.

Had a wonderful dinner during Savannah Restaurant Week. Our waiter Sean was welcoming, informative, and attentive. Great meal and a great experience. Will definitely return on our next trip to Savannah.
