IHOP

We had breakfast here yesterday and most likely will not return. Slow service and food was not served when ready and hot but instead had sat and was warm. Poor follow up by waitress and not timely either. I spoke with the waitress and the manager but both really didn’t care was my impression. Not that busy but a few large parties there. I should have gone to Black Bear and will next time.

Unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I don’t usually write these things but I feel the need to warn you about the staff. Our food was fine. Our service, specifically our waiter named Ty intentionally went out of his way to be rude. One example, he referrered to the way I ate my sunnyside up eggs with my pancakes as gross. Throughout the whole meal we were embarrassed and offended. I don’t know who is ruuning that place but it reflects in the staff.

I had a wonderful experience. Went for brunch bit wasn’t too hungry. The waiter helped me by suggesting what to get for a small price. The only thing was the syrup containers were built up with crud and needs to be more sanitary.

I will never come back service is way to slow, you’d think for a place that’s not packed we would get our drinks and food quick.

My dad and I went to IHOP after coming back from the airport in the morning. We were both craving their «famous» pancakes, so that’s why we came here for breakfast.
We found out that they had new french toast (made of brioche bread [it’s new to me, even if it’s been out for awhile]), so I went ahead and ordered the Peanut Butter Banana one with a breakfast combo of bacon, hash browns, sausage, and eggs, while my dad ordered his usual country fried steak & eggs. When I received my plate initially, it was not cooked to my liking. The bacon was very soggy (not extra crispy) and the hash browns were soft — not extra crispy. Luckily, our server Kelsey, went back to ensure my order was corrected, and sure enough, after a few minutes of waiting again, it was! The brioche french toast was okay. I feel like I can definitely get better tasting ones somewhere else. This might sound harsh, but IHOP, please stick to pancakes. It wasn’t that the french toast didn’t taste good, it was just decent. The sweetness was a little too much for me. I think that IHOP can put less drizzle to make it better. I didn’t really understand the french toast having corn flakes sprinkled on, besides texture. They could have alternatively used pecans or something else, but not corn flakes. I did enjoy the fact that the bananas were fresh!
The service was very great! Kelsey made sure to get everything my dad and I requested at our breakfast, thus making our time at IHOP much more enjoyable. I think that if it weren’t for her, my rating would have been lower. Kelsey made sure we had enough drinks to go with our order, as well as making sure I did not have to wait long for my correct order to be given to me. If you do go to this location, I hope you get her as your waitress!
Overall, all I have to say, is that this is IHOP. It’s not going to be over-​the-​top or anything similar. IHOP is IHOP. They’re always good to have when you’re up early in the morning, or just want that breakfast crave filled. I just wish that the pancakes stopped shrinking and actually got bigger again… I remember the days when it was the size of the plates…

Had a HAIR INSIDE THE PANCAKE. When called to talk to manager after take out they kept saying he was in a meeting. What? What could he be talking about more important? Don’t go

Really bad. We waited forever for service, and finally sat at a table with a thermos of tepid coffee. The light breakfast included melon that was turning transparent with age. The hashbrowns were raw in the middle. Just not good at all. Not worth the calories either!

So, i just walked out of IHOP, my sons & i sat for 20 minutes without even having our drink order taken. just an fyi.

My friend and I went there yesterday and it was awful. This was only the second time I’ve been to that ihop, but it’s the last. We ordered an appetizer that never came. When our food came, my friend asked about the appetizer and the waitress said they were behind in the kitchen and did we still want it? No.
Why didn’t she say anything sooner? I don’t know. She wasn’t very apologetic, but you know how it is, it’s ihop, so your expectations are already low. I ordered the breakfast sampler (without eggs) and my ham was burned and chewy and my bacon was super fatty and undercooked. But again, it’s ihop, so you just think, well you get what you pay for. But a couple hours later I was very sick. I wouldn’t have thought my lunch could make me sick, but i hadn’t eaten anything since 6pm the night before, so I don’t know what else it could have been. When I talked to my friend the next day, she was sick, too. Just avoid this one.

I give IHOP a bad review because first when I went to IHOP with my mother. We decide to order chicken and waffles it wasn’t that good. So we decide to order a omelet which took so much time to make. I didn’t like the drink. I order rosted marshmallow hot chocolate which tasted like cheap hot chocolate with to much sugar. This is why I gave IHOP a bad reveiw. If you want to go some were with good food, try to go to Black Bear Diner.

If i could go any lower i would. I took my son to eat yummy pancakes on Veterans day. We were seated and left. 5 minutes later we were asked if we wanted drinks. Since there was such a long wait we decided to order. It took 20 minutes for our meal which is average but when the food was brought we were not given silverware. We waited to see the server… we waited… we waited… finally after my meal is cold i got up in search of something to eat with. We didnt see the server until i was at the front desk asking for my check which was painstaking.
This place is horrible and would never recommend it to anyone.

What type of business doesn’t answer their phone for over a hour? You’d swear they were busy NOPE walked in & it was pretty dead. Employees sitting around doing nothing smh horrible was to run a business!!! Hire better people IHOP!!!

Chain reviews are always awkward to write. This is your typical IHOP, it’s the breakfast foods you’d expect and I’d say they execute it well. I enjoyed my breakfast here and would go back if I craved a simple breakfast and was too lazy to cook it (and still hadn’t found a better diner in town…)
Since it’s a chain, I kind of expected them to have a system down and be at least somewhat efficient. Not here.
The huge downside and disappointment to me was the service. There were things listed on the menu with customizable options, which sounded awesome! But when we tried to order it and make our choices at listed, it felt like everything was an extra charge (why wasn’t this listed on the menu?)
Then there was the wait. The restaurant was not busy at all, yet it took extremely long for our food to come out.
So in the end, we left feeling full, but a little annoyed at the place.

I truly wish I could give less then a star to rate my last experience at this place.
On Sept 6 2015 my family and I went to IHOP at 8pm, after the waitress finished chit chatting with the other staff that was there she sat the people in front of us. She did not seat my family of 4 the other gentleman working did. I do not know if she was just completely overwhelmed by her 3 yes THREE tables but she never came and took our drink order or our food order. The gentleman who sat us came and said so and so is your waitress but I will take your drink order. After taking our drink order and returning with our drinks in a timely matter, we waited and waited and waited some more after 20 mins of waiting to order food the gentleman who took our drink order come and took our food order. After placing our food order we WAITED another 30 mins for our food to arrive. Our food arrived luke warm. My family was not offered utensils (we got them ourselves) never offered more sugar after seeing our thing was empty, never brought us napkins (we also got those ourselves) never asked if we needed refills after sitting 50 mins waiting for food.
I not now nor will I ever be back to this location.

Giving this dive one star because I can’t give it zero or negative stars. What a waste of time. It only took 5 minutes to get seated and have our our order taken. It then took another 45 mins before we decided to walk out. The deciding factor to leave was when the people who wee seated behind us approx 15 minutes AFTER our order was placed, had finished their meals and got up to leave. Really? How freakin hard is it to cook pancakes.
Just happy that the luke warm coffee he brought me didn’t taste like anus. Wasted our time and made us late to our appointment. Thanks IHOP Vallejo, you suck.

Summer time for families to be together. The hostess tried to put us in a place that was quite humid, had crayons below the table and utensils.
We change our location. In our new location: it has straw wrapper with food particles on carpet.
Food quality is terrible: bacon dry, hard scramble eggs in pieces which isn’t inviting and portions are skimpy .
My friend had senior citizens order and not appealing at all

We had a $ 25 gift card and decided to go to our local ihop (although now I wish we went elsewhere). Our waitress was really nice, but everything else was horrible. After 35−40min, I was wondering where our food was especially since it wasn’t very busy and I have been to ihop many times and have never waited that long. We were never updated or tended to between this time, so although our waitress was nice, the service was horrible. I decided to give it a few more min before I asked about the food, but we were told they lost our ticket and failed to realize it. The good part about all this? They gave our meal to us for free. The food was good but the fruit portion is SO scant.
We went again last week since we still had the gift card. We should’ve gone elsewhere but everyone was exhausted from a long day of work and this place is so close. I also wanted to try and give them another shot. This time there was hardly anyone eating, so there shouldn’t be a wait at all or no lost tickets. This second experience definitely confirmed the terrible service to its customers. Our waitress forgot to write down our order of pancakes, so that didn’t come until we were almost done with our food. Also, the fruit portion was no better, still scant. Once our receipt came, thank goodness I looked it over because they also charged us something we never ordered. I told them, it got fixed up, but no apologies. It was just «that’s not suppose to be there.»
My experiences at this ihop just blows my mind.

Our service was horrible. We felt that there was no one that wanted to serve us nor acknowledge our presence. This was not even worth our one star.

Wow. Won’t be eating there again.
My husband and got out early to do some errands, and had a little time before Costco opened. So we thought, «Hey — IHOP is right there across the parking lot.»
MISTAKE
The host was on a social call when we walked in and ignored us for about a minute before he finally bothered to seat us. The restaurant was half-​full, so we expecting reasonably speedy service. Our waitress arrived promptly with menus and silverware and took our drinks order. She returned with the coffee fairly quickly, and then disappeared.
It was half and hour before she remembered to bring my husband’s orange juice, and almost another ten minutes before our food arrived (this only after we said something to the manager). When it did arrive, my husband’s eggs were barely cooked (the whites were still runny in the middle and the yolks completely raw). I should mention that he ordered them over medium.
My turkey benedict was COLD. Out of curiosity, I stuck my finger between the toppings and the bread — barely warm. Clearly it had been sitting for quite a while.
First time in a long time we have gotten up and walked out of a restaurant without eating, after speaking to the manager AGAIN.
Almost 45 minutes, no food and no service.
Don’t bother.

I don’t know what I expected from IHOP but the service here is horrible. Slow service. Wrong order. Pretty bad
